Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

My speaker was connected and working fine a month ago, when I tried to use it again recently it wasn't letting me connect. I tried to go into settings but it was telling me I wasn't the system owner (I am and this is my only email connected to sonos)?I tried rebooting the speaker completely disconnecting it for 30 seconds etc etc so I could just connect it to a new system- which I did but now it's giving me an error (1067 NOT 1066) saying it can't update my speaker. I haven't found any details on this error or how to even begin to fix it. 

I have an issue where my Arc setup starts resetting its volume to 15, and won’t go past 15. It happens when audio is being sent via my BenQ TK860 projector.It happens every now and again, and rebooting/reinstalling hasn’t fixed it. I’ve read several posts that this could be a sign of device failure, and I should reach out to Sonos support.I started a chat and was directly told that Sonos “does not support projectors” - is this true? The projector has a standard eARC HDMI output. I can’t find any reference on the Sonos website that projectors are not supported, only that you need eARC.ThanksTom

I have a Sonos Amp powering 4 Sonance in wall hidden speakers as well a Sonos Mini Sub.  I can add the sub to my Sonos system, but when I add the sub to my Amp it will not play along. After about 30 seconds it will say Sub not connected. I then have to remove it from the system and reinstall it, before it can be used again. If I add it to my Arc ultra, the sub works just fine.  All components are updated to latest firmware. How can I add my sub to the Sonos Amp? 

Hi, I lost sound the other night from my beam. I turned the TV on and off and it came back for 5 mins but has now stopped again. I have checked all settings, factory reset the TV and beam. Changed the HDMI cable. The TV is seeing the beam as I have the icons when I turn it up and down there is just no sound coming out. The TV works through internal speakers and the beam works if I stream to it. It is also seeing the TV as in the volume it says HDMI TV. I have turned everything on and off and now I am just at a loss. Could the TV just not be putting out sound?

The system continually defaults to the bedroom which is the room I use the least. I always have to switch it back to living room before I can listen in the living room. How can I fix it so that it does not default to the bedroom? Do I always have to Go and choose the room I want to listen to even though I want it to default to the living room or whichever room I was using last?

The problem with my Sonos Play:1 speaker is that it doesn’t perform a factory reset, it doesn’t connect through the Sonos app, and it doesn’t work when I try using an Ethernet cable. No matter what I do, it doesn’t respond or connect properly.

Hi, I am having an issue with YT Music, it was connected fine but the playlist wasn't sync'd and I tried removing and adding it back but now it shows no playlists and can't find ANY songs on YT Music. There are no errors, I tried unplugging the speakers, deleting the app and reinstalling it, rebooting my router and wifi, nothing works. I tried using a non premium account (just to see if it worked), it also doesn't work. I was wondering if there is a way to see logs so that I may see why it doesn't work? YT Music on my phone or computer work fine.

Recently we upgraded our wifi network. Havent had the need to use the sonos app for a bit.When I logged in, the subsequent screens were exceptionally grainy to the point I cant use the app.Deleted it and re-installed no change.Restarted the phone, no change.Am I doing something wrong, or the the whole App now flaky?TIA

Is it just my system or has the fade out facility when listening to a playlist disappeared.  Surely not? I think it enhances the listening experience if one song fades into another.ThanksTag

We've installed hundreds of Sonos Ports, used as both an input, output, or both.Today at a customers we had the following occurrence when adding a Port (to their existing system) which is completely different to what we've experienced before.System:Living room - Amp Snug - Arc, Amp, Sub Kitchen - Amp (New zone) Streamer - Port with turntable as an input Sonos port added, updated, configured & turntable plugged in correctly. If you wanted to listen to the turntable in the living room; you'd select Living Room as the zone, then select line in > Streamer - Turntable as the source, but when selecting this, the source wouldn't change.Sonos support said that the Port zone has to be grouped with the zone where you want the line in source playing.We're pretty sure that was never the case but further testing proved it to be the only way it would work on this system.

Hi All,Woke this morning to find that if I search an Artist and go to choose them from Qobuz, I get 'No selections are available' - this only affects the search. I can choose Qobuz from my services & all my favourites are there and play perfectly. This only affects Qobuz, Spotify etc show results as usual.Have rebooted the router, no change. Re authorised Qobuz, still no difference. Any ideas? I'm still running S2 16.1 (no intention of updating currently)

This is my last try to get my Sonos working,I got my Sonos many years ago when it was quite new. However it stopped working when i carried it over to a new outlet. Many reset, and hard reset try’s using the mute (and volume up)(also disconnecting the outlet en starting the process then plugging it in) I gave up.About a year later gave it another shot and miraculously turned on. Used it for about 6 moths and now got the same problem after reconnecting the outlet. I still have hope because it worked before after a while with the same problem. Is it a repairable issue? software? I hope someone has answers.

Anyone having issues with Qobuz in the UK on the S1 app? Every time you select an artist catalogues don't appear. Seems to have been like this for a week or so. You can view under albums but it's a pain as you don't just get that artist.

Hi allI was wondering if someone can help. I'm considering buying the official sonos stand for my Era 300 and need to know the distance from the back of the Era 300 to the back of the stand base. The reason why is because I have my sonos stands against the back wall and want to know the distance of the back of the era 300 ro the wall. Thanks so much for your help

I updated my Lenovo laptop to Windows 11, and now Sonos won’t connect. I have Sonos One. I did all the suggested steps (turning wifi off/on, restarting laptop, unplugging router/plugging back in, powering down Sonos speakers/powering back up), but no luck. Sonos is an allowed app through my Avast firewall.I have repeated the above steps several times. Any ideas? Thank you.

I'm using Shield TV Pro with the Sonos Beam 2, recently when I stream 4k videos with Dolby digital / atmos, the sound drops/skips after 10-15 minutes of watching the video. If I pause and play it returns to normal, after 10-15 minutes it happens again.Please help. I'm using an NVIDIA Shield TV Pro connected to a TCL TV and Sonos Beam Gen 2. Recently, when streaming 4K content with Dolby Digital or Dolby Atmos, the audio starts dropping or skipping after about 10–15 minutes. If I pause and resume playback, the sound returns to normal—but the issue comes back again after another 10–15 minutes.Please help me resolve this issue.

I have a new Sony OLED TV (Bravia 8 ii) installed today.It seems to have a slight pink tint.  It is sitting very close to a Sonos playbase.  Could the playbase affect the colour.  I find this unlikely but need to eliminate the possibility.Derek Clements

Would be nice to add this as you could adjust multiple frequencies. I think this is essential if you compare it to other products, like Bose and Sony

Has Google Assistant been added ? Otherwise I need to return this soundbar.In fact I might just decide to switch to a different ecosystem. 

This has been posted about many times.  Sonos claimed a year ago that this was fixed, but also posted that it wasn’t a bug, but a feature, requiring us to manually change tags in every compilation album. I guess that means I should give up on this “feature” ever being fixed and, per recommendations, I downloaded mp3tag.  Changing album artist to various artists worked for the three albums I tried.  So my questions is, for those who know tagging and mp3tag better than I, should I just go to the “compilations” folder in itunes and select all songs on that tag and make that same change, rather than going albuum by album?  Seems that would work but I hesitate to make such changes, since they’d be, I assume, impossible to undo if it messed things up.  Thank you.
