I have two complete Mag6.1 systems. I was told by Bestbuy tech support that I would be able to combine the 2 systems. Can anyone guide me on how a can do this? Or do I install both systems separately and somehow sync them in the Sonos amp?

For clarification… Mag6.1 system refers to a Sonance outdoor speaker system powered by a Sonos Amp sold by Bestbuy in the US (Sonos Amp included).
To your question if you can see both systems as separate rooms in the Sonos App you can “Group” them together. Once grouped they will play the same audio. When ungrouped they act independently meaning you can stream a different audio source to each.

+17You would NEED two Amps in power to power both Mag6.1 speaker systems, then you can create a group with both Amps, within the app, so that they can play simultaneously.
EDIT: If you have more passive speakers within your home there is a multi-channel amp that can do the same job, plus power more speakers.
Only downside is that you need to hire an installer to purchase and install it.

Maybe this is the product. Since it is an 8-Ohm speaker system it would be possible to safely connect two systems to an AMP. I have no experience with these speakers. My intuition would be to use a separate AMP for each speaker system and Group the Rooms to play synchronized content. If you look carefully at the photo, it seems to show an AMP. In SONOS parlance each system would be a separate “Room”.

I think you’ll find they need to be in the same system if you want to group them.
As further clarification to
The term “System” refers to using either the S1 app for older Sonos that cannot operate under the current Sonos App fka S2. Your Mag6.1’s are both Sonos App (S2) compatible.
So when you are ready to setup the 2nd Mag6.1 you will open the Sonos App and select “Add a speaker or Component” (which is the Sonos Amp) and give it a name.
What you will have is two Rooms (Zones) one labeled for each Sonos Amp both of which will be running on the Sonos App. You will be able to Group both Rooms to play the same audio.
FYI, System can also refer to Sonos registered to different users in the same household in very rare situations.
