Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Ok, stoked but as techie w.ADD Sonos put me through a really enjoyable wringer. i work in IT Support for fiber, but I know I’m smart enough to know cocky vs. practical, I know a lot about a little and that’s the truth: please help as I’ve lupus, I love music , I need easy access to play consistent soundstage , stereo era100s w.Sub Mini is great.  not as much now with beam gen2, though as surrounds and sub to push the beam , movie pops like it’s amazing, crack the whip good audio.(on eBay official, btw eBay Sonos store purchasing  is smartest. You get a 2yr warranty plus if you’re patient, awesome savings ie. Brief august coupon,  had era @ $120, factory refurbished is usually smarter than new . If you know, you know..Anyway; sorry ADD again.… context is When sub mini was added, I loved  the music soundstage . As 2.1  please help as I’m used to music using stereo + sub, the L+R , is this lost since bought  Beam Gen2 now,? ie. Downgraded atmos or DD+ vs. automatic separation and beam

Hello team,does anyone else find JioSaavn music service to be very temperamental?now when I click it it doesn’t show anything.ive gone to reauthorise but after logging into to JioSaavn and clicking “authorise” on the Sonos app, Sonos just hangs with a spinning circle.

We have a really awkward room set-up. Is there a system with 3 surround speaker to put on each corner of the sofa (with a sound bar under the TV and a Subwoofer we can put anywhere)?Or do you have another suggestion? Ps The roof of the extension is vaulted (not a flat roof). See below a sketch:   

I have had my Sonos system for many years without an issue until the new app was released.I use the S1 app successfully until recently, when the system stopped working.Through trial and error and help from websites I have got the system working and managed to connect and load my music libraries.All the songs and artwork is loaded and visible. However, it won’t play. It keeps saying there is an error and won’t play.Apple Music and radio etc all play fine, but My Music library will just not play. Any solutions very welcome. Thanks      

Since the Sonos ecosystem has (or should I say had - read on...), for me, calmed down a lot recently I took the plunge to replace some of my older speakers with new. This ended up as a full Ultra/Era300/Sub4 surround setup and and Era100 pair. However on successfully introducing these to my system, which went very smoothly, I can not access my local music (NAS sourced) on any of the new speakers. All pre-existing speakers are fine. I have tried:Resetting a few of the new speakers and re-introducing Creating a new music folder in an existing share Creating a new music share Re-adding a removed & reset Play:1 to my system Splitting the surround system into component speakers  Multiple reboots of speakers and all network componentsThe speakers have all had last weeks firmware update and this did not address the problem. All speakers are on the same (unchanged) network. All are in the same positions the speakers they are replacing were and now some, for testing, are next to pre-existin

Is it possible to have 2 systems in two different rooms each with a Sonos Sub Mini working autonomously 

sonos s2 controller app on android and running Apple music app within S2 app.  Is  anyone  able to not have tracks drop and stop playing  with new Arc Ultra, Era's 2 era 300's,  and sub 4?  i cannot do.  If zi play just my old play 1 speakers there is no issue.  Al sound played from my TV only plays fine, no drops, that includes Amazon music, Spotify. zpandora.  Apple music is not availabe on Google TV as an app unfortunately.

I am a happy user of an old Sonos Legacy system with the S1 app, an old Connect, a Play:1 and :3 (with proper buttons) and an OneSL because I couldn’t find a proper Play:1 anymore.Mostly, I've been using the system to listen to my local music library or Tidal, or stream a webradio station via the custom URI “hack” via tunein. I just got the Sonos controller working with Windows 10 on my workstation - thanks to Carl at Sonos support!  My workstation app used to work until a month or so ago. I verified my workstation is on the same network as my other devices that use Sonos. I verified my firewall settings are correct per the Sonos writeup about this issue. I finally decided to call support and Carl was kind enough to walk through every thing with me. According to Carl, Sonos updated their privacy policy in June. I did not know this.Here's how I fixed my issue:On the SONOS app on your phone, go to your account settings (top right corner, the person icon to the left of the settings gear icon). Under the Legal and Privacy heading select Privacy and Security. Scroll down to Connection Security. You should see 3 settings. 1. Authentication, 2. UPnP (Universal Plug n Play), 3. Following a network change in my house, my entire Sonos system disconnected, and it is impossible for me to reconnect it.I tried everything, delete the system, recreate a new one, disconnect and even return to the old network but impossible. Each time, the application can no longer detect my system or at least connect. Because I have a message telling me that it has found a system on this network, but as soon as I click to connect the application tells me that it is connected to the system, but it never appears in the application. As if it had never happened?Could you help me please

hi all,i bought my Sonos ace a couple of weeks ago, and update with the new firmware.when i used it with my phone or laptop via bluetooth the sound is realy pretty good, but unfortunately via swap tv is realy "meh " ... even with true cinema enabled ... volume is too low at 60% ( wich is the base volume setting when you swap to the tv ) and i need to turn up the volume at 90% to ear something "acceptable" to my ears .. and no, i'm not deaf.i tried to reset my Ace twice and update also all my speakers system to the last firmware version ( beam gen1, sub gen3, 2x one SL ) and also my ace with the latest fiirmware but nothing changed. 😞 what should i do? 

For four years since I installed the Arc and Sub, I have controlled the volume of the Arc with the Cox remote control, and the volume of the TV speakers never changed, always muted. This morning the TV volume started changing when the remote was used to adjust the Arc (home theatre) volume. I have no idea what may have changed.Even more frustrating and confusing is the TV speakers do not always change. The volume changes sometimes, not every time.The ARC is connected to the TV via the ARC output.Any ideas?

Hi ! My soundbar made a quick repeatable sound and after a few seconds a very annoying and loud sound at about one second and till then I have no sound .i have a soundbar (arc ultra black), 2 Era 300, and a sub woofer . I have a 7.5.1 system !  do anybody knows what happened!  

Every time I connect my headphones via bluetooth for a call on Google Meet the mic either just doesn’t work or my input audio cuts in and out for the first 5 minutes of the call. All the output audio is fine. I’ve checked both the settings in Google Meet and the system settings and everything looks fine. When I connect via USB it works fine. It’s very frustrating. Any ideas? 

I have an install with a Samsung TV, Arc ultra, sonos amp with 2 ceiling mounted surround speakers. I can use the rear speakers when playing through the Sonos app but no sound from the rear with TV usage. I thought I would hear surround sound. Thoughts/help appreciated

FYI, I streamed Apple Music Lossless content for eight (8) hours today in three (3) rooms grouped as you can see in the picture below. My network is an Asus Wi-Fi 7 AiMesh built around an Asus GT-BE98 Pro and Asus RT-96U x 2 over a wired backhaul. If you are having issues streaming Apple Music short of a server issue, outage identified by Sonos or defective speaker then it’s your network that needs attention. 

Hey allheres the go, I’ve got a Ray, Sonos 1 and play 3 that are all connected to the same network and running fine.  The issue I have is that the Ray is plugged via optical cable into the tv and when watching the TV if you want to play music elsewhere in the house on the play1 or 3 when you open the app and change the speaker, the tv playback disconnects.  Note, I am not grouping speakers. I am trying to play music on another speaker while the tv sound is playing.  Any suggestions on how to change speakers without disturbing others? cheers 

Recently my Sonos system started having major issues (suspect from an EERO update) where the speakers were slow to start, then would cut out and music volume would go up and down.   EERO says to connect all wireless which was my setup, but I went ahead and turned on SonosNet, and all issues stopped.   So I’m not setup opposite contrary to EERO recommendations.  Does anyone have insight into this?  I tried questioning on the EERO site and only get the recommendation to turn off SonosNet.

I'm Prakash. I'm having some trouble adding or removing a specific music service, like Apple Music, from my Sonos account. I've been trying to do it through the app, but it's not working as smoothly. I have a Play:1 small Sonos speaker which I listen to constantly with the radio on.Several times a day at the moment, it goes suddenly silent and when I go into the Sonos app on my phone, it says Sonos cannot connect to the speaker. Typically aftrer a few seconds or minutes, it reappears in the app and I can press Play to get it to start playing again.This speaker is unusual on my network because it’s a newer bluetooth-enabled one. My other Sonos speakers are older (10+ years, I think).It’s extremely annoying that it keeps disconnecting. How can I troubleshoot this problem? I’m no kind of wifi or router expert so I’ll need things explained in simple language please.My WiFi system is an Aginet TP-Link mesh router that I can see via an Aginet app on my phone. In this app I can see the speaker listed, but it keeps appearing and disappearing. It actually disappears in the app far more often than it goes silent. Sonos S1siPad Pro OS 18.6.2iPhone 16 OS 18.6.2Linksys Velop Mesh network (Nodes: MX5500GC x 2  , WHW03, WHW03CF, WHW01)I had this multiple times, periodically one device usually iPhone will lose connectivity to the Sonos install. Today I managed to get it to find it by forgetting the network and rejoining it; simple as that! It has been bugging me for months. I use a Linksys Velop mesh network, and Sonos is on the 5gHz separated network (2.4 and 5 gHz have different SSIDs). I guess it could mean that the specific node that Sonos is on was different from the iPhone, maybe the mesh does not broadcast the settings effectively across all nodes???
