Sonos Symfonisk speaker missing from app

My Ikea/Sonos Symfonisk keeps disappearing from my sonos app every day. Any Help?

I have to manually unplug it and plug back on daily to sync with the rest of my Sonos system.

I have updated everything, reboot everything even re-connect and recalibrate the entire system via Ethernet cable and only works for 1 day, and the following day it all disappear all over again.

Additionally it drops from the sync multiple times during the day, Any idea to remedy this issue?

I suspect a potential issue in the connection between your router and the IKEA device. Unplug it, and while it is unplugged, reboot the router. Wait two minutes for the router to come back up, then plug in your IKEA  device. Wait another two minutes before opening your controller and testing.

However, if there is a fault inside the IKEA, this won’t help. If it keeps disconnecting, I would recommend that you submit a system diagnostic within 10 minutes of experiencing this problem, and call Sonos Support to discuss it. Don’t post the resulting diagnostic number here.

There may be information included in the diagnostic that will help Sonos pinpoint the issue and help you find a solution.

When you speak directly to the Support staff, they have tools at their disposal that will allow them to give you advice specific to your network and Sonos system.

At that point, Sonos can tell you whether there is any value in approaching IKEA.

I have the same issue. They also disappear from the Airplay list. Maybe related to Symfonisk lineup being discontinued.

Did you get any help from Sonos support?

This is not related to the symfonisk being discontinued. Sonos is still supporting them and will continue to do so for some time.

I’m going to give up trying everything I have attempted too. It still keeps disappearing from the connected devices. Beside the connection dropping, Sonos is no longer what used to be unfortunately. I keep other Sonos devices, but will get something else.

The Symfonisk issue is reported in other threads here and on Reddit so your issue is not isolated. Personally I am having the same symptoms with a pair of symfonisk lamps so solidarity with your frustrations.

Same Symfonisk issue here. Keeps disconnecting from wifi, music cutting off, intermittently. This happens since a couple of days. S2 v18.3 (build 94.1-76070) Hardware 1.34.4.9-2.2. Extremely annoying.

Please submit a diagnostic and call support next time this happens.

A diagnostic and call is the best way to get a fix prioritized.
