Era 100 connected but no sound.

It was connecting seamlessly to my projector, then it suddenly stopped playing sound. Now it doesn't play sound from my iPhone or iPads. Very disappointing. I was going to buy a Sonos Soundbar, but this experience has really put me off the brand.

Does it still play streaming sources?

Are you wired to the projector or Bluetooth?

How are you connecting an Era 100 to a projector?

I’ll warn you now that Sonos soundbars are not designed to be used with projectors. That’s not to say it can’t be done.  It may require purchasing a 3rd party interface if you are considering an Arc Ultra or Beam 2 in order to get Dolby Atmos audio.

I use a pair of Era 100s sometimes for audio from my Samsung TV connected vis Bluetooth. I get a prompt to connect MOST of the times, but there are times when I do not. Is this an issue? No, because I do not use the speakers for audio every time I watch TV. I usually watch TV using the TV speakers because the Bluetooth connection sounds a little compressed for everyday crying, but for some action movies, I would select the 100s.

Since you have given so little information about your projector, or weather you use a streaming device connected to your projector that is paired to the 100s, I would suggest unpairing the speakers, reboot them, then make the Bluetooth connection again to see if that solves your issue.

Although the OP was in Questions, no question was actually asked. Nor has there been any response to posts responding to the issue described.
Perhaps this thread was just started for venting, rather than asking for help?
