Hello i have a SONOS three that will not reset. i have reset three other SONOS three and, a connect and a SONOS 1. all were successful. is the speaker dead or do i have another option??? Please help. Moderator Edit: Moved title to thread, adjusted title.

Hello, I have just bought a Sonos Play 5 Gen 1 from a good seller on eBay. The speaker is in great condition ... but ... I can only set it up via ethernet connection and when I subsequently try to use by WiFi it can't find the network. I have factory reset twice but to no avail. Using ethernet is fine but I want the option to connect to WiFi. Any help and advice gratefully received. Thank you.

A problem with the last update, lost my music library (error code 913) using a MAC computer. I have read the posts from other users in the community and tried multiple work arounds. I called Sonos support, waited for an hour. The tech took control of my computer and could not fix the issue. I was told by Sonos tech support to call Apple to help fix my issue that Sonos created.  That was my tech support experience. I did get a case number with no solution. When is Sonos app update that is going to fix this issue be announced? When is the company going to address the issue and give updates to the solution? 

 I cannot get my Sonos Ace using the USB-C to 3.5mm cable. there is no audio .Using Bluetooth Works Using USB-C to USB-C cable works Anybody have any suggestions on how to solve this?

The quality of the sound is unbelievably amazing when I use the sonos music, but everything else is pale compared to that. Anyone else found that to be the case? Any solutions?

My web controller (windows 11) just stopped working yesterday. Says it can’t find my system, but the app on the phone is working fine. Anyone else having this issue. Have rebooted everything.

Can my gen 1 play 5 be used with the new app?

I use Spotify playlists as my alarm music instead default Sonos Chime. My issue is, Alarm plays the same music from the playlist in list order.  I don’t have any option to shuffle it. Is there a way to achieve this ?

This one is a bit complicated. I have a LG UR8000 TV, Google Chromecast 4K, and Sonos Beam (Gen 2). This week I tried playing the new Lord of the Rings episode and I had no sound. I finally figured out there was a slider to disable Dolby Digital Plus. Once doing that the audio was working, with surround sound, but the Sonos app said PCM Stereo. Before turning off Dolby Digital Plus there was no audio showing on the Sonos app. I never had to turn off Dolby Digital Plus before, thought maybe Dolby Digital Plus is a new option.I am using passthrough bitstream eARC on the LG TV with the Chromecast 4K. I am casting the show from my mobile phone. The Chromecast 4K shows in the settings Dolby Digital Plus is compatible and enabled. PC connected on another HDMI port plays Atmos videos without any audio issues.Prime Video settings are set for Best quality and unlimited data. Also have the Ad-Free tier subscription.Updated Sonos speakers to 80.1-56190 and the issue still persists. TV is up to da

Just tried to use my system through voice and nothing would work. So, I opened the app (last Android version of the old app) and it won't allow me to do anything until I upgrade to their new app.I guess that means they've fixed everything, riiiight?!?! 🙄

Sonos Radio is requesting we reauthorize our account, however when we go to do so, nothing happens and the issue still persists - it still says our account access has expired.Can anyone please assist, or has had this problem before?

I have recently moved into a new apartment.  As a result I now have a new WiFi network.  I use a pixel 8 pro with the latest software updates.1) Manage Networks, of course, doesn't work;2) As a result I had to factory reset all my devices:   - Arc   - Sub gen 3   - SL 1   - SL   - Roam 1All devices came back online, however, not so my services:   - Spotify would not connect;    - MyTuner Radio would not connect;   - My music library and all my playlists disappeared I started the Spotify app on my phone and then connected my Sonos Livingroom and then Spotify would work correctly via the Sonos app.I was able to re-add my music library however my playlists are still gone.I have not been able to get MyTuner Radio working.  Removing the service fails so I can't re-add it.Sonos radio works with all it's advertising! Any assistance would be appreciated. Thank you. Charles Truax 

My Sonos Amp (connected to an LG TV using HDMI ARC) appears to randomly mute the sound output without any user intervention.It usually mutes about 8-10 min into playing:The sound cuts out, the Amp’s green light comes on for about a second, immediately turns off again, and the sound comes back. This whole spiel repeats about 5 min later.Yes, everything is on the latest software, there are no neighbours having fun with my setup, no apps are interfering. It appears to happen just by itself. And only just started about two weeks ago out of the blue.Any solutions?

Hi everyone,Got my Ace headphones last week and really like them.A big issue I’m having is with the microphone, specifically with Slack (I don’t seem to have this issue with teams, google meets, phone calls, etc.).During slack calls, within a few minutes the Ace microphone seems to stop picking up audio. I’ve had several calls now where other people in the call suddenly stop being able to hear me. If I disconnect and reconnect to the call, that will usually buy me another few minutes before it happens all over again.I’ve checked all of my macbook audio/slack audio settings, and everything is how it should be.Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or found a way to fix it.

After not being able to use my older Play 5 Gen 1 for a long time, I bit the bullet and started slogging through forums and other sources. I was able to factory reset the Play 5 Gen 1 and reset the Sonos S1 app on my iPhone and then setup a new system with only the Play 5 Gen1. I added music services and it works. My newer Sonos speakers are all on the new “S2” app. So far so good. I then tried to add the Play 5 Gen 1 to my wife’s phone with no success. I reset her app, selected added to existing system and put the speaker into pairing mode (flashing orange light). It will not find the speaker. The Play 5 Gen 1 still works from my phone, but I cannot add it to my wife’s phone. Please help.

I have a large SONOS system of Ports, Playbars, Amps, Subs etc on my boat which have all worked well until the latest App and F/W debacle.However this is to report that when I take my boat off-shore and lose Internet access, I get logged out of the system and can not control it from the phone App. I have had installed on board for 5 years a File Server containing all of my purchased music for this situation, which has worked well. I also do not appear to be able to access my Playlists associated with the music on my File Server without access to the Internet.It appears that the current developers have not imagined having full use the system (even with a locally attached Music Library) without access to the Internet in order to stay logged into the Sonos system.Although I have previously logged in whilst I have Internet access, I seem to get automatically logged out after loosing the Internet and if I attempt to log back in I get the following error message:     “A server with the speci

My Music Library (share on a quite new QNAP nas) does not show under My Sources. It shows my TV which is * useless. Removing the share and adding back does not help and yes, my nas is not using SMB1. I also have a very old iPad with old SONOS app, so at least I can play music.
