Arc soundbar - dialogue sound does NOT match the mouths of the actors.  Dialogue Sync does not resolve the problem.  Seems to be ahead or behind on any of the available settings.  Anyone else experiencing this.  Tell me I’m not alone.

side note:  attempted the latest WiFi update to see if it would help, it found the first speaker and identified it as a Move 2.  I don’t have a Move 2.  Ones, Arc, Subwoofers, and an older soundbar (I can’t remember the name), but no Move 2.  Aborted.  Hahahaha sigh.

What model TV do you have? How exactly is the Arc connected to the TV? What is your audio source?

LG webOS TV OLED 5.50.40 (approx 5 years old),  HDMI/ARC connection from TV to Sonos Arc soundbar.  Pushing all sound audio out from TV HDMI to Sonos.

My Ultra did the same, but I have a Samsung S90C.

I solved it by adjusting the lip sync on my TV (Digital output delay).  Haven't touched any settings in the Sonos App.

There is almost no delay now. It takes a while to find the best setting, I would definitely recommend putting on a movie with lots of speech, it makes it easier to adjust and finde the sweet spot.

Normally speaking, on HDMI-ARC, it shouldn’t be needed, as a synchronization is supposed to be part of the CEC spec. I’d certainly try a couple of things. First, make sure CEC (or whatever the manufacturer of the TV calls it) is turned on. Then, check your TV for updates. Finally, reboot your TV by unplugging it from the wall for two minutes, then plug it back in.
