Hi all,

 

I know there are hundreds of posts on here about Sonos on Unifi.

 

One thing that I can't see full clarification on is for full WiFi setup, do you still need set STP up on the network side or is that only for a wired/mixed setup?

 

If the above is true, I've got an AP wired into a dream machine which from other posts appears not to support STP, does this mean I would need to migrate this AP to a switch for it to work reliably?

I am using WiFi only and I have had nothing but problems. I recently read this:

While I had STP enabled, I did not have the priority configured properly. All three of my switches were set to 4096. Once I corrected this, everything is working properly. I’m fairly certain the bad config was impacting HomeKit devices as well.
