Hi everyone,Got my Ace headphones last week and really like them.A big issue I’m having is with the microphone, specifically with Slack (I don’t seem to have this issue with teams, google meets, phone calls, etc.).During slack calls, within a few minutes the Ace microphone seems to stop picking up audio. I’ve had several calls now where other people in the call suddenly stop being able to hear me. If I disconnect and reconnect to the call, that will usually buy me another few minutes before it happens all over again.I’ve checked all of my macbook audio/slack audio settings, and everything is how it should be.Wondering if anyone else has experienced this and/or found a way to fix it.

After not being able to use my older Play 5 Gen 1 for a long time, I bit the bullet and started slogging through forums and other sources. I was able to factory reset the Play 5 Gen 1 and reset the Sonos S1 app on my iPhone and then setup a new system with only the Play 5 Gen1. I added music services and it works. My newer Sonos speakers are all on the new “S2” app. So far so good. I then tried to add the Play 5 Gen 1 to my wife’s phone with no success. I reset her app, selected added to existing system and put the speaker into pairing mode (flashing orange light). It will not find the speaker. The Play 5 Gen 1 still works from my phone, but I cannot add it to my wife’s phone. Please help.

I have a large SONOS system of Ports, Playbars, Amps, Subs etc on my boat which have all worked well until the latest App and F/W debacle.However this is to report that when I take my boat off-shore and lose Internet access, I get logged out of the system and can not control it from the phone App. I have had installed on board for 5 years a File Server containing all of my purchased music for this situation, which has worked well. I also do not appear to be able to access my Playlists associated with the music on my File Server without access to the Internet.It appears that the current developers have not imagined having full use the system (even with a locally attached Music Library) without access to the Internet in order to stay logged into the Sonos system.Although I have previously logged in whilst I have Internet access, I seem to get automatically logged out after loosing the Internet and if I attempt to log back in I get the following error message:     “A server with the speci

My Music Library (share on a quite new QNAP nas) does not show under My Sources. It shows my TV which is * useless. Removing the share and adding back does not help and yes, my nas is not using SMB1. I also have a very old iPad with old SONOS app, so at least I can play music. This might sound like a very “nooby” question and I apologise if that is so but with all the installations, updates, and “fixes” around Music Library lately I am just a little confused.  My question is - If I have multiple controllers (iPhone, iPad, PC) for my SONOS system, and I add a Music Library to one of them, should it be visible and available on the others.I have a SONOS app on my Win10 pc and have added the library and apart from every track on a compilation album being reported as an album in it’s own right (when is that being fixed by the way?), it works well.   I can select and play music from the linrary on any of my speakers.   Howver, the library does not appear on my iPhone!  I tried adding it, and although it found the library and it appeared on my homepage for a short time, it has subsequently disappearedfrom the home page althogh it still shows under the “Your Folders” section of Music Library.Any help with this most friustrating aspect would be greatly appreciated. 

What is the issue with Sonos and high end products?  Sonos will not work with Starlink and it will not work with Apple’s Siri! These are two cutting edge technologies, why is Sonos not doing anything about supporting these technologies?  I purchased an Arc, 2 of the S1’s and a Sub a few years ago. I recently went from DirectTV to Starlink for my internet service and now all I have for sound is a high dollar sound bar and three other speakers that just collect dust. Come on Sonos, you can do better than this!

Well thanks Sonos. I can now, after several months, play my music library stored on my Mac but to be fair, the instructions how to do so failed miserably and I had to make it up as I went along.  The hand that giveth also taketh away: the price for this restoration of the original service is that now BBC Sounds will not play. Useless bit of kit in my view.  I would sell my speakers but who would buy them?

There is no question that the executive know users are currently tied to their Sonos hardware, but there already must be people looking for alternatives to the audio world’s “ New Coke” is anyone currently developing an alternative app that I can sign up for as a Beta tester?   has anyone managed to work out any means of rolling back to the “ old version”? I am looking to know what is the best way to stream Tidal.  My setup is Sonos Port connected to Marantz amp via coaxial, and Google Pixel 8a.  The Port and Pixel are both on the same WiFi.  I have 3 options to stream Tidal.Open the Sonos App then select Tidal.  If I use this option the quality level of what is being played does not appear.  Also once the stream is started I can turn off my phone and the stream will continue.  This tells me that the Port is connected directly to Tidal. Open the Tidal App, start playing then select Port as the playback device.  This method does show me the stream quality but if I close the Tidal app on the phone the music stops.  It seems that the phone is connected to Tidal then passing it on to Port.  Not sure if the phone can pass the full quality of the stream as option 1 can.Any thoughts on this to backup my thoughts would be appreciated.Another option I have but have not tested is to use HEOS that is built into my amp. 

Our Sonos system and app frequently fails to work in our house. We have excellent WiFi so that is not the issue. It is very frustrating.

There is a weird behavior between my devices.I have a LG OLED65CXAUA tv and a PS5.  They have worked great together for a while.  In the last year I added a Sonos Beam to the tv - it works great for the TV and the PS5, the sound is wonderful. But weirdly, since I added the Sonos Beam, the PS5 will randomly wake up from sleep mode and the TV switches from whatever I was watching to the PS5.  I can switch it back but it is annoying.To be clear on the set up: the Beam and the PS5 are both plugged into the TV.  Any clue on how to stop this? 

Before the app update, I was able to cast Tidal to my Sonos system. I mainly went to all tracks and played on shuffle.But since the update, they no longer play nicely together. They don't even work individually. Both Tidal and Sonos have suffered.I can see the Sonos speakers when go to cast music from Tidal but it only connects for a brief second. Can't be the Tidal app as it can cast to my Chromecast.That's a big problem as the Tidal controls in the new Sonos app lack key functions the old app had- In Tracks, I can no longer play more than one at time. I have to manually add them one by one to the queue or to a playlist. I lost the ability to shuffle all tracks and play which I used ALL THE TIME.- I can no longer add or delete songs to playlists in Tidal from the Sonos app (which is necessary since I can no longer cast from Tidal).- I've also been having issues with Sonos speakers dropping the internet connection that I never used to have I've been patiently waiting for any of these i

Two negative points : - The leather like material is too warm wearing … really not so pleasant wearing it - Two Sonos Ace can not listen together to a movie, I suggest for next buyer to wait this is  just a no go until this feature exists Otherwise  it is fun using it and a nice add on to Sonos movie bar … the idea is great the conception not yet, the high-end look and fealing is enjoyable except theis annoying warm ear sensation when using it 

Hi, I have an existing small multi room setup.I have a Brennan B2 which speaks to Sonos. Sonos system is a portable roam in one room, and a Sonos one in another.I have a bang Olufsen system in another room. I would like the B&o system to appear on the Sonos system so I can send music to it in the same way I can imagine the other rooms.Is this possible? Many thanks.

Since downloading the new app in May, I can no longer listen to a music source through AirPlay in different rooms using a mixture of Sonos airplay and non-AirPlay enabled speakers.  For background:I can still group all my speakers, new and old a listen to music direct from the Sonos app. But if I want to listen to an external source (eg BBC Sounds), I used to AirPlay from the BBC Sounds app to my Sonos Playbase and then group the Playbase to two other older Sonos Play: 1s.  I could then listen to the BBC app on all three speakers. If I try to do this now, the audio only plays on the Playbase.  Even though the three speakers still show as grouped (yellow ticks) on the app only the Playbase has the moving audio bars icon. I can still group the speakers and listen to airplay through the group if I use the Sonos app on my PC which I haven’t updated so I know it’s the new app and not a problem with my setup. Hi everybody. Someone offered me a sonos connect yesterday, that he never used. So as it is an old model, i’ve install the S1 apk, made some test and it was working pretty well exept the fact that i couldn’t play an entire folder of music stored on my music server. Then a message appear telling me that i could go for S2 version. So i made the upgrade and download the S2 apk. Only sonos radio appears, no way to make visible my media server, no way to see songs stored on my android device. So i decided to roll back to S1, but every time it fails downgrading. I have reset the connect, the light flash green, i enter the S2 apk and start the downgrade process. It detect my connect and tell me that my connect is ready to be downgraded. I hit the “downgrade button” and a second after, i’ve got a message. An error occured. I really don’t know what to do. HELP pleeeeeaaaaaase !!!!!!
