Hi this Roam Sl must be the most useless thing I ever bought. Every time I go to use it there is no connectivity. Sometimes after half an hour of faffing about I get some but I’ve lost the will to live by then. I have it charged up. I have it on the same WiFi as my phone. I have reinstalled the app. It can’t find the speaker. Is it just to throw away? I’m very cross. I only want to play a few tunes ?

At this moment, I can see that your Sonos Roam SL has a cloud connection, which means that it’s online and should be found in the Sonos App.
I would suggest a network refresh by rebooting all involved network devices in the following order: Router → Sonos → Controller (smartphone/tablet).
If you are still unable to find your Sonos Roam SL in the Sonos App, please contact our Support Team for some live troubleshooting.
