So, even after six months the app is not stable. Search is a lottery as to what results show. BUT Sonos can keep placing adverts in the app that take up ⅓ of the screen.

Dunno then, unless perhaps something is blocking the option. I suggest you go onto give Sonos Support a call. Here is the link to call them:
