How does one Connect a DVD player to Sonos Beam 2. currently the DVD players connected to the TV. I would like to paly my music CD’s and hear the music on Sonos beam 2.Also in case I am watching a movie can I redirect the audio to Sonos Beam 2 Regards,Pat

Live radio stations keep disappearing and stop - start every time there is an app update. Cannot connect to tuner and in Australia TuneIn costs $$ - has Sonos completely disabled live radio?

I cannot get the Sonos App to open on my android phone.  I have unistalled, restarted my phone, reinstalled and still it sits at the opening black Sonos screen and goes no further.  I have uninstalled the app again, turned the phone off, restarted, reinstalled the app and still it does not work.Any suggestions?  I just want to be able to connect my Sonos One SL to the new WIFI connection.  Currently on Android Oxygen OS 11.1.10.10.AC01BA

HiMy SONOS setup is as follows;1 * Play 1 (not hard wired)1 * One SL (not hard wired)1 * SONOS Boost (hard wired)All running S21 * TP link network routerSONOS App running on IOS and Windows desktopI predominately use my setup to access a “ripped” MP3 music library that sits on windows share on a Windows 2012 server configured with SMB2. The SONOS app has been configured to use this as a music library - all has worked well prior to S2 upgrade. Now when selecting tracks they play erratically - on IOS give a “Content unavailable” / on Windows gives “an access denied” type error. A track that didn’t play one minute will then play if I try again 10 minutes later - all totally inconsistent and no pattern to any of it. Checked and rechecked share / NTFS permissions to Music Library location - all ok. Checked Windows 2012 firewall rules - all ok.After spending 45 minutes on a call with SONOS - they have told me that my setup is not a supported configuration. They class a Windows 2012 server as

I currently have a Sonos Arc, Roam, and a Boost - all of which worked seamlessly and consistently priori to the big app update last summer.The Arc has become particularly unreliable, and I’m hoping that this community may have a process to put it through which will resolve my issues.Note, I have troubleshot with Sonos team members and removed, and re-added the Arc multiple times.Sometimes, the Arc will simply not appear in my system. seems to be random, and resolve itself randomly as well Songs will stop playing from the Arc, but also when also playing from both the Arc and the Roam - however when playing the Roam alone, it never suffers from these issues The assistant listening mode will happen without anyone saying the hot word prompt. I’ve even disabled the mic in hopes to resolve this issue, but the listening mode still happensLots of issues here - could all be related or just individual items to resolve.

Hi,I have a Sonos system since 2010 and I have friends who asked me to recommend them an audio system and a TV sound bar.  They bought an Arc, Sub mini, Play 5 and one Era 100.  I have ripped all their CD collection and it works well.  They group all their speakers including the Arc and Sub mini when listening to music and when they turn on the TV, the ARC automatically starts playing the TV audio and the ARC drops off the group playing the music.  This works well, but it would be even better if the Arc software could detect when the TV is turned off and reconnects to the group it was originally part of.  This was previously asked 3 years ago on the forums by somebody else.  Maybe it could be an addition to the new software?  Is there an easy way to regroup the ARC to the original group if this cannot be done automatically? I am still on S1 with my personal setup, so I am not familiar with the new options available… Thanks 

As topic. The Android phone app works as expected, e.g.If I search for “A State of Trance” under albums then it displays 1 album (comprising 5 discs) from my library (on my network share) and I can play that whole album. Same for the “Random” album, a Gary Numan tribute album comprising multiple artists. However, in the Windows app, under albums it presents as individual tracks. Using the web app is not an option of course because that doesn’t even support my own libraries at all, only streaming services.

It seems not possible to have new songs just released by 1 music service to have them play all at the same volume level.  The excuse because the songs were from original cd’s, MP3’s… is just not holding up anymore.Is Sonos going to solve this problem please?  It’s terribly annoying.Thank you

Hello,Currently doing electrical remodel for a customer and dabbling into speakers as i have installed sonos amps and speakers for customer but this remodel has me hesistant. As this customer wants to use existing speaker throughout house. The house has over 22 speakers which each room has a a wall volume control as two speakers in each room will run to volume control then ran to media center in living room(speaker wire 16/4 and ethernet). I want to split house into 6 zones, listed below. Basically asking could i just have the wire ran from volume control wired straight into the amp or would i have too disconnect volume control(outdated i believe) and run new wires from each speaker to new amp?Trying to avoid running new wires to existing speakers, but am fine doing so if needed. Just confused if I’m over thinking and the volume control is just something that can coexist and use the speaker wire/ethernet ran back to the media center. Living room(4 speakers)Kitchen/Dining(4 Speakers)Bed

I have a Sonos amp connected to 4x Architectural ceiling speakers and a Sonos amp. The speakers work quite well but lack a little bass. As soon as the amp is added to the system, the equaliser and fader no longer work.

Hello fellow members I have a question regarding the Sonos boost. I have been using it for a few years as I decided to add a separate Wi-Fi network to all my Sonos speakers in the house. Since I never had a problem with signal dropouts.Recently I added a pair of ERA 300’s as surround speakers and looking into the system settings in the Sonos app to check if the new ERA’s where connected to the separate Wi-Fi Sonos network I realised that I no longer can see in the settings if the speakers are connected to the Sonos boost by looking at the WM setting. My Sonos boost has been always connected directly to my router using a RJ45 and I am wondering now if Sonos have dropped this device whether or not it is worth still having this connected and if there is any benefit al all?thanks.  

I’ve had a Beam and 2 SL1’s connected for about a year with no problems. Recently I added a sub mini and ever since then the tv will shut off automatically about every 30 minutes. No changes were made to tv or Xfinity. No screen savers or auto power savers are enabled on anything (I already checked). I’ve installed new 4K HDMI cables and have tried unplugging everything and plugging it all back in several times, hoping it would reset. It keeps turning off. I love the sound I’m getting, if only it would stay on. What do I do next?

I’ve experienced something strange with my sub and arc speakers recently. Whilst watching TV, a loud cracking sound is emitted from my Sonos speaker, one that resembles a loose connection in a conventional speaker. If first happened with my sub two days ago then again today but on the arc. My speakers are wired using WiFi except for the arc which has an Ethernet cable. I’ve recently moved houses and thus had to redo my network connection. The shift seemed seamless and I was able to connect the tv and speakers without much of a problem. Has anyone experienced the same? 

I have recently installed two 75” televisions (side by side) in our Recreation Room and looking to add Beam or Arc soundbar(s) to each television. Is it possible to have two soundbars in the same room? Both soundbars play what each television is playing independently? Both soundbars play what one television (sporting event) is playing while other television is still running (video game for example)? Both soundbars playing music application while both televisions are doing something else (sporting event & video game)?

I am no longer getting audio from my One SL surrounds or our Sub. All audio from the TV comes through the Arc only. Oddly, streaming music directly to the Living Room setup plays audio through all devices. Same with using our Port to play records. Everything works. It’s just TV audio that will not play through the 3.1 system. This only started recently. Nothing about our setup has changed. Everything is connected to the same network. Everything shows as connected in the Sonos app. Any ideas?

After the recent update, my Sonos app on my Mac, and my iPhone, has lost my music library.So I followed these instructions:https://support.sonos.com/en-gb/article/share-your-macos-music-folder-with-sonosAnd these:https://support.sonos.com/en-us/article/add-your-music-library-to-sonosAnd none of it works.The Mac Sonos app gives me ‘error 913’ after I browse to my music folder.If I try on the iOS app instead, that gives me ‘Access is denied’.I’ve set all the file sharing correctly, I’ve set permissions on the folder and drive, I’ve confirmed that it’s set to SMB sharing. I’ve even turned on guest sharing, just in case.Nothing.I changed some folder names along the path, removing spaces. Now I get a different error on the Mac app: (1001). This is getting incredibly frustrating. Can anyone help? 

Hi all, I have a new soundbar arc , gen 3 sub and an old play 1 speaker . I have the s2 app installed in my phone and have all showing on my s2 app even the play 1 . I can play music on the play 1 fine and also on the soundbar fine but they won’t play together in the group. If I try to play through the group it will play on one and if I try to select the other it says sorry can’t connect. Very odd. Should I be able to group the two speakers even through the play 1 is old ? Thanks so far 

My Play:One system chokes on all .wav and .flac files (16bit).  Audio is clipped and sporadic with lots of skipping and pausing.  .mp3 files play fine, but not these larger formats.Library is fully indexed.  The files are stored on a late model LaCie 2T volume connected via USB-C.  The files play the same way whether controlled via the Mac app or the iPhone app.Are the planned updates and fixes not complete?  is metadata causing the problems?  Any similar experience out there? Mac version 16.4.2Build S2Play:OneMac 16” MBPSonoma 14.7

When streaming YouTube all Sonos products randomly go to green and volume goes away and switches back to tv.  testing if disabiling consistent volume setting in YouTube fixes this.  Sonos support please advise. 

I woke up and my Sonos said it was not able to see(Bluetooth) my system(speakers Sonos one) and I’ve not gotten it back. I’ve :reinstalled Sonos app factory reset my Sonos one speakers  reset my router                                                And I still can’t get my speakers paired with the app help me

Why will my Ray not connect to my network.  It shows Not Registered in my app, I go to register, go through the set up but it fails to connect to my network every time. 

i have 2 android phones, 1 has updated to latest version, the other will not update. any ideas.
