Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I am trying to connect my AirPods Pro’s to the SonosApp. Even though my Pros are connect to my iPhone, the app cannot find them. Any tips on how to make this work? 

My system is no longer adding content 

Hi everyone,so I have up and running 3 Sonos One (Gen 1) speakers since forever.Today, however, I noticed that one of them does feature a different hardware-version number than the other two — 1.21.1.8-2.1 VS 1.21.1.8-2.2Given they‘re all Gen 1, shouldn‘t they all come with the same hardware-version?  Appreciate your insights! Cheers!

I have a Sonos Beam , 2 Play 1s and a mini sub in my living room . When turning on the TV the Beam works fine but the two Play speakers and the mini sub don’t put out any sound. They show as connected on the app and are all on the same strong signal wifi network . I have to disconnect the whole setup from the mains and power back on for them to start working . This is obviously not ideal . I’m at a loss as this has been happening for several months , but wasn’t an issue when the system was put in three years ago,I have an Arc system with two Play 5’s and a mini sub in the cinema room that works absolutely fine , none of the same issues . Samsung TV is connected to the beam via  HDMI eArc Any suggestions ?

I have  new album in my music library and in the Sonos’ app the album songs are not in  order how do I correct?

Since the new app was introduced, my pair of Era 100 will not stay in sync. The delay from one speaker to the other keeps increasing. After setup, withing a day when I turn them back on there is an “echo” due to delays. Within a couple of days they get even further apart in timing to where it is totally unlistenable.If I reset my router, this most often seems to fix the problem, but I don’t want to have to do a twice daily reboot of my router, nor was this necessary at all before the Sonos update to the new system.If I try to remove the stereo pair and then recreate the pair, then only one speaker will have sound in the pair.So I end up power cycling the speakers, rebooting my router, have issues with the speakers being found, then finally put them back into a stereo pair, but this is crazy. I have wasted so much time on trying to get these speakers to stay working as a stereo pair. None of the updates have made it any better.I have tried giving the speakers a fixed IP address assignme

In bluetooth mode, can a Roam be stereo paired with another Roam?In bluetooth mode, can a Move be stereo paired with another Move? Having just returned from holiday, and taken a pair of echo dots, then had the daily wrestle with the hotel wifi to get them working as a pair, I decided that bluetooth speakers that I could pair in stereo was the way to go.Having looked at the market, prices of well-reviewed brands, Megaboom for example, are similar to the Roam. Then, looking on from that, the Move then offers sound quality comparable to the Era 100, so why not use a pair of those on holiday because I can just walk out the door and there are no complicated shenanigans to set them up at a hotel, then reset them at home for integrated use. Any thoughts? ...purely on stereo pairing the same species?

Sonos is so unreliable. If I'm lucky enough to get a room to play. Isn't change tunes or change rooms. Then it will not switch off or let me adjust the volume. I fed up having to reset every thing to get then to work even then it's lucky if the do work

Looking for guidance.  I still have a cable box through Xfinity to provide my cable service.  I have surround sound in my main room through a Yamaha receiver which is connected to my port.  However, through my kitchen, foyer, and other rooms i have a combination of Sonos 5’s and Sonos One’s.  Typically on a Sunday when NFL is on, i like to connect the main room, and tie the speakers in the kitchen and other areas of the house to hear the game i’m watching.  When the season began, i went to connect all of the speakers together, and the option in my Sonos app for “Line IN” or “TV” was gone.  I spent the next two hours on the phone with support.  We reset the port, we deleted the app from my phone and reinstalled it, nothing would get the option to connect the speakers together through the surround sound.  Regular streaming music was fine and could be played to all of the speakers.  This would elude that the port was working.  This happened to me in the past, but was resolved when an upda

After five months of using Sonos Version 80, I’m frustrated with how broken it is. Basic features like quick app connection, music search, queue management, and playback controls are unreliable.I’ve been a loyal Sonos customer with many devices, but now I’m using Bluetooth speakers instead because they work better. Please roll back to the previous app version, as the current one is unacceptable.

I setup my era 100 speakers as surround speakers with my arc bar. After setup, neither speaker has sound coming out of them.  any solutions or tips?

Hi. I have an LG 65" TV with eARC, a sonos arc soundbar, and a PS5. I have played some UHD Blu-ray movies (Logan, Thor Ragnarok), which are supposed to be Dolby Atmos, but only PCM is showing in the app. I have Dolby Atmos as preferred sound on PS5. A device is connected with router1 and B device is connected with router2 with same account.Then, is it posssible to control B device with sonos app when phone is connected with router1? 

Hi all, Just looking for some advice with placement for my speakers. Setup consists of:1 x Playbar1 x Sub2 x One The first image shows my basic room setup, it has a corner sofa. The Playbar will be positioned in front of the TV and the sub beside the TV. The main seating position will be at the long part of the sofa (running beside the wall) into the corner.Initially I was going to place my One’s behind the sofa in front of the TV using stands, as per the second image. They would have been at shoulder height.However my wife is not impressed with the idea of having the stands exposed, especially with children in the mix.We were thinking of putting the One’s on the stands at shoulder height behind the sofa along the wall, as per the third image. Would this work? It has the added benefit of not having to worry about hiding the power cables, and they would be out the way of the children a little.Purple in the image are the One’s / sub. I am trying to add a boost to my network. All my stuff is S1 and it says boost is incompatible but I have read that it can be added with S1 app. How to go about this?

I have now for several months not been able to listen to my play lists. Sonos Customer service helped me shortly to change to a less Secure connection as Sonos does not work with 5G.This made my internet very slow and in my opinion Sonos ignore their Customers and does NOT solve the problem but blame YouSee.I had YouSee Long before I bought my Sonos - only to play my YouSee play list which I was told I could do. And I have been able to do this until Sonos started their updates.  This is NOT acceptable and I do no longer renommed Sonos to anyone.  Best wishes,Søs 

I have been a great Sonos fan for 15 years or more, and bought so many of your products. But now I had enough. How can you continue to provide such utterly abysmal software? It just never ends

Ever since I updated the Sonos app, I am experiencing this annoying glitch with it: I click on a station and when I hit “play” I get this error message, “Something wrong. Try again”. This is happening about half the time and I use this app several times a day. My playlists, podcasts, news, sports and more go through one or more of my “rooms”. (I have 11 speakers/devices in my home. Can anyone help?ThanksM Klein

My Music Library no longer plays. The suffix m4a has beeb added to each title and they just scan through when started. I have read all I can online to no avail. 

[forgive the typo in the headline, can’t edit that]I setup my brand new Move 2 using the app over my gigabit mesh WiFi (so speed isn’t a factor) but when I try to play music from Spotify or Pandora on the Move 2 it cuts in and out like ‘picket fencing’.   Horribly annoying.  If I use the crappy Sonos app it doesn’t do it as much, so I believe it’s something to do with Apple AirPlay.  However, I can stream to my Bose ear buds and JBL Bluetooth speakers just fine using AirPlay so what the deal. Does Sonos want to force me to use their app? 

i have managed to have my Roam speak connected to my Ray Soundbar for the past 18 months or more, this week I took the room speak away with me and connected to another network. Since coming home I reconnected my Roam speaker and it’s not on the app anymore however my RAY and SUB are connected and playing TV sounds. The roam will only play dual music via Spotify with the Ray, and still wont show as a solo ‘Roam’ device on the app. I have spent the last 3 days trying to work it out….. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated!

Sonos used to work well, I started using it many years ago but the new app is very slow and I have to call support to get the system up and running. Now I turned off the 2.4GHz network and tried to run sonos on 5GHz. Does not work so system is not working (again) since a week. The ‘wizards’ in the slow S2 app does not help and system can’t be found. I even tried downloading the old S1 app to get that running with the system, but it does not find any of the speakers. I use Android (tried with 2 different phones) and Play 1, Play 3 as well as connect amp.

I have many Sonos products, including ARC, Play 5, One’s and 2 x Play 3’s.Suddenly the Play3’s stopped working, after resets, they appear in App & Computer, and play together, however won’t group with any other product, it just says “Unable to Connect, Please try later.I have factory reset, and got everything else working, The Play 3’s work together, just not grouped with other products. Any advice?

A periodic annoyance with my 10 year old system is that a number of tracks can stutter on playback. It is NOT interference. I have two original Play 1’s on stands in a stereo pair connected by ethernet into a Devolo dlan 1200+ powerline adapter. If interference was the issue it would not manifest in the same position from within a track. The afflicted audio tracks are also not damaged as they play on any other device without problem.This problem only surfaced about a year ago but I doubt it could it be some component breaking down as the symptoms would not be so specific.I did a test whereby I produced another playlist containing one troublesome track. Trouble is after trying to play it access was denied by my computer. This is still an ongoing problem with adding music from ‘My music folder’ when it resides on an external drive.I have given up hope with the system as it still has annoyances that have not been refined or streamlined in years, particularly in regard to sorting or search
