Small cross post from the Dutch language community.Yesterday I connected my new Arc Ultra. First I separated the Sub (gen 2), the One and One SL that form the surrounds from the Beam (gen 1), then I renamed the Beam and disconnected it. Connected the Arc Ultra and put it on wifi (other devices are connected to a Boost). Sub and One (SL) reconnected. Did the advanced Trueplay. Connected the Ace, added Google Assistant - that appears to work on the One that serves as a surround. That's a gift - it used to work that way with a Playbar, but I hadn't read anywhere that it would work with the Arc Ultra. The Nest Mini that I already purchased can therefore be returned. The set up went smoothly.First experiences. Wow. Sound is clearer. Tried a bit of Dune 2 (see https://www.whathifi.com/features/the-best-dolby-atmos-movie-scenes) for Atmos. Had to go back into the settings of the Samsung TV, but it works. Atmos sounds good, even with my non-Atmos rear speakers. Music from Blu

I am no doubt overthinking this. Was watching Final Level on Amazon Prime through both Apple TV app and internal TV app (Hisense U7K).The sound was very poor but, having watched it through internal TV speakers too, it seems like a mix issue.However, in trying to figure out what was wrong I moved close to the Arc and ran my ears along it. There is sound from the centre and from each end. To the right of the centre the bass section produces sound.However, there is a dead spot of about 6 inches to the left of centre. Looking at the exploded diagram it seems that this is actually a dead spot (at least front facing) but can anyone confirm that no considerable sound comes from that section before I attempt resolution? It all still sounds fine, balanced etc, just wanted to confirm.

I use Apple Music and the app only allows 1 song to be played at a time. This was never a problem before. I can’t be expected to hit play after every song. What’s the problem? 

I have completed all of the proper network sharing options on my laptop for my "music library" to be accessible.  I can see it on my work laptop, my MacBook Air, and PC media center. I can access the whole library, play individual songs, playlists or what ever I want with no problem. Now for the "phone apps" - For some reason when I touch the "music library" on any of my phones, as soon as I tap on any selections (songs, artists, playlist, composers, genres, etc.) I get an exclamation point in a circle and the message is ALWAYS "something went wrong."  I would really like an answer to why this is always happening on the phone apps and litterally NEVER happening on the PCs or Macs.  Don't try and blame my network settings. I am very network savvy and I've additionally already troubleshot everything with a network professional that is on the top of their game.  If you want to just admit that the phone apps are still garbage or that all the bugs are not work

Issue​​​​​​​The Sonos app has repeatedly been unable to find my new Era 100 speakers after using Spotify Connect. I would then have to reboot the speakers. This wasn’t an issue with my Sonos Ones. It could be a coincidence with the new app architecture? Not sure if this is an app or speaker issue. How to reproduce the issueHave Sonos speakers already set up in the Sonos app and connected/appearing. Go to Spotify and tap Spotify Connect Select relevant speakers Play music for a few minutes Check Sonos app and see its working Pause music and leave it for a few hours - Spotify Connect should auto disconnect from the speakers Go back and attempt to use Spotify Connect to connect to the same speakers, at this point the speakers have disappeared. Go to check in Sonos

I am unable to see any of my 7 Sonos products . I am only able to see the play bar 

 before Sonos updated the app in May, the stability and functionality was great. Since this update there has been lots of issues and some of them have been fixed and some have not and we’ve also talked about them on here.What is annoying is that all my album art that is stored on my local drive, is not showing from my NAS library and it used to work fine? It actailly works through Plex, but I prefer to use my own library, as I’ve got my own playlists that I’ve created over the years….Do we know when this will be fixed please?

Having trouble cousins sub gen 4…do not get “highlighted” area on side and I’ve tried entering the number on the bottom and the sub is not connecting 

I purchased a Sonos Beam (Gen2) with a Sub Mini, it worked fine for the first few weeks and then the volume rocker stopped working from my remote. I went back to the store (Best Buy) & exchanged the Beam for the Arc.Same issue prevails.My Sonos is plugged into the E-Arc HDMIEverything else works with the remote, just the volume is the problem. I was told that if Sonos pushed a new firmware update that will resolve my volume issue & it will start working again, is that really true?Would love to get an expert from Sonos to respond to this 

I just ran the updater (desperate to solve the big problems that started awhile ago). It got to “Updating Controller: Installing” and the progress bar is 100%. But nothing more has happened for ca. 30 min. Could it be stuck? Absent any feedback from the installer, I’m getting tired of waiting.

New app created some issues but system would still function.  Installed a new WiFi router with new network name and now only my pair of Sonos Ones will connect.  My Sonos 5 will not and my older Sonos speakers will not.

Hi. Does anyone else have the issues where the Sonos app is fine for a week but crashes, very consistently, once a week? It requires a delete and reinstallation then works again for a week before we repeat. I’d love to avoid it, what am I doing wrong?I’m on an apple iPhone 15 Pro with the latest OS 18.1.1. Problem has been consistent through the last several OS and app updates and pre-existed OS 18. 

I purchased a Beam Gen 2 last week. After a bit of messing around I got it successfully connected via the ARC HDMI connection (not eARC - my TV doesn’t have that). But since then it keeps dropped out and then reconnecting. I have tried disconnecting everything and powering off and going through setup again. It will then work for 30 mins or so then drop off. TV shows the message TV Speakers Active and the Beam is no longer visible in External Devices in the Bravia Sync section. If I try to reconnect via the Sonos app I get the message that something is interfering with the connection, unplug all home theatre equipment. I don’t have any other home theatre equipment and I have even tried unplugging my DVD player so the Beam is the only connection, but still get this issue. If I do nothing and just leave the TV on the internal speakers, the Beam reconnects after 20 mins or so then disconnects a little later.TV and Beam are fully updated, I’m using the supplied Sonos HDMI cable. Hey there. since about 2 months ago, which is also around when iOS 18 came out (though im not sure they are related), ive been having issues airplaying from my iPhone (or iPad) to my sonos speakers. Either 1 of 2 things happens: there is a 5-10 second delay and then the music or podcast starts playing, or other times, it is never able to play. there is no error message, and my speakers appear in the airplay list just fine. I have power cycled multiple times my: device, both sonos speakers, and my router. i don't see a major difference when i do. software is up to date. this happens when using a variety of apps to airplay, but does not occur when playing directly from the sonos app (which i don't use). Any suggestions or insights would be appreciated. Thanks! Edit: i should follow up by saying ive spoken to support and submitted a diagnostic but they haven't found anything wrong. I have a sonos one and a sonos beam. 

I can access them on the desktop app (Mac) and I can access my NAS music library fine. Just my Sonos playlists appear in IOS but once I hit play it just spins endlessly 

Beam not playing. It is connected to wifi, but cannot be found either through Spotify or Sonos app. However, when I ask Alexa to play Spotify it works???? But still doesn’t show in app. I’ve deleted and reinstalled updated app. My play 5 is working fine. Not sure what else to do. Thanks

So I have a manual turntable with Sonos dongle into Era100 used only for this gateway purpose.  When I pair the Era100 and my ARC HT, or any other Sonos devices I have, I loose the pairing once I switch from side A to B every single time.  I guess since no more input is sensed with the ERA100 it must default to not be paired anymore, but this is super annoying and frustrating.  Is there a setting somewhere that I am missing?  Just to be clear the 100 is not being used as surrounds in HT setup, it was purchased specifically to be a gateway. 

Hello, I have a Playbar+Sub+InCeiling+Amp setup for my TV and love it. I have an open floor plan (8x8 meters) which includes the kitchen and dining/living room. I purchased two more InCeiling speakers with separate Amp as I want to be able to play music in kitchen/dining alone or combined with the TV setup. I am wondering if the setup proposed below would work well in mono. Idea is to hear music when cooking (loud ventilation) and also while sitting at the table. If not, what else would you propose? Thanks, Jessy  

I just got an LG OLED48B49LA and since the internal speakers are really bad, I would like to use my two Sonos Five Speakers with it.This used to work fine with the old TV (plus Apple TV) I had before, as it had a chinch output, so I could connect the TV to the Five speaker through 3,5mm and could control the volume with the Apple TV remote.The new TV does not have that, it only has optical and HDMI Arc.I bought an Optical-Chinch Adapter, which works fine but obviously I can’t control the volume of the speakers with the LG TV remote.This is my question: what options do I have to be able to control the volume of my speakers with the TV remote?Any adapters, any other products to buy that aren’t too expensive? I would like to avoid buying a Sonos Arc for now. Thanks for taking time, I really appreciate it.

Why is the Sonos App so slow to do anything. ?For a reputable company I’m dumbfounded, this is hands down the most frustrating app I’ve ever used. It has been like this since they changed it, why hasn’t it been fixed ?My Sonos speakers are just wireless speakers for my Spotify now (an app that does exactly what it’s supposed too with no issues), I never use the Sonos app anymore, only to group my speakers, which once again it won’t bloody do, Hense why I am writing this. Nothing in my life frustrates me more than this app 🤬🤬🤬

I’ve had a white blinking light on Sonos Beam for several days. I have followed reset (but no orange blink), I have connected to ethernet, no change. I worked through tech support for a while but after some time I was told the product is defective. It is only 2 years old and I’m just checking to see if anyone knows any other procedures that might save it. 

So I have had a Sonos ray for around a year now no complaints at all however it has decided to disappear off my Sonos app and I have tried everything to get it back. Eventually I had to factory reset it and now I have been greeted by error code 1000 in with I feel like I have tried everything and it won’t work. Please help meeeee

Et maintenant, à chaque lancement de la nouvelle appli, j ai une page noire pendant 1min (chronometrée)  avant de pouvoir utiliser mon systeme (2 sonos one sans bluetooth).
