Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

I have great difficulty playing CDs through the port, and cannot play cds without the port. Does anybody have any suggestions?  It is an old system Yamaha amp and Rotel CD player. 

I have Play 1 speakers. System refuses, this morning, to connect to Prime Music content. Do I wait till Monday to call Tech support, or is there some fix, or issue I'm unaware of? 

My first  Beam2 worked beautifully until after 10 months it would no longer connect to the network.  It was replaced in record time but the new one does not sound a good as the old.  It seems to have resonant peaks which affect the clarity of some sounds mainly speech.  I tried to use the Trueplay function on my iPhone to level the frequency response but that no longer works.  Any ideas please?

Hi,Currently I have a Symfonisk table lamp of Gen 1. I want to get the Beam Gen 2 and another Symfonisk lamp to create a stereo pair and to get surround. At the moment I will only be able to buy the Symfonisk lamp Gen 2.So the question: will the Beam Gen 2 work with a Symfonisk lamp Gen 1 and a Gen 2 to create a stereo pair? Or will it only stereo pair with compatible Symfonisk Gen?Thanks in advance!

Can I pair my iPhone with my Sonos system?

Hey people,I love the flexibility of taking the Move out and returning it to the system in the house for a bigger sound. I'd like to expand the collection but I'm put off by never ending connectivity issues.I have high bandwidth fibre-optic broadband which exceeds our demands. I have a new WiFi router as I figured this was the issue but if I take the move out of the WiFi and use as intended. When I return it to the system in the house it often won't pair with the Sonos one. (Not stereo)Honestly, I find this so frustrating or am I over reacting?I'd go for the Arc and some era 100 but if every time I want to use it I have to spend 30mins trouble shooting I'd rather not waste my money.I hope there's a simple answer? 😬Perhaps it's me🤷Any help much appreciated 

I have TWO albums titled ‘Crash’ (DMB and movie soundtrack). Indexing gives me three albums, with TWO copies of the soundtrack along with the DMB album. I have FOUR albums titled ‘Unplugged’ (Alice in Chains, Alicia Keys, Eric Clapton and Wind Machine).  Indexing gives me seven albums: AiC, EC, WM, and FOUR copies of Alicia Keys. In both cases the duplicates are identical with respect to tracks, artists, etc. I got around the problem by changing the album titles, using ‘Crash (soundtrack)’ for one and ‘(artist name) Unplugged’ for the others. But this seems buggy and unnecessary.  Any ideas as to why the duplicates in the first place? Thanks...

I have a house full of Sonos speakers and love them !!I first set up my new move2 yesterday. Got latest update and set up on wifi.it played music via Bluetooth straight away but next day - connected but no sound. other tech savvy family members couldn’t get their music playing either.  if this is the pattern then it’s going back !!!

So is it just Sonos or is it the combination that sucks? Any body else with this combo? Sometimes Sonos works fine, for a while, then nothing works….. I try to reset something, here or something there, after restarting all Sonos products and restarting the network, then sometimes it starts working, for a while, then speakers start to drop out, drop out of the system….. I read sort of the same description from other users so….  But the question is , is everything the app or is it something with my mesh WiFi, I have looked deep into the configuration but can’t  se anything fishy, am I missing something?

Using Sonos Arc, Hisense U8 TV, 2 play1’s in surround speaker mode. I have Sonos HDMI 2.1 cable to TV earc.  I have ARC enabled in Hisense and CEC. In audio out in Hisense, I do not get sound from my 2 play1 surround speakers in audio out passthrough or Dolby Digital. With passthrough marked Sonos app says Stereo. In Dolby Digital checked, Sonos app does say Dolby Digital plus but no sound from surround speakers. In auto out with Auto marked, I get sound from surround speakers but Sonos App says Dolby Digital multichannel 2.0.  Any suggestions?

Hi, I currently have the Piano Disk IQ system with Apple Airport express which communicates to the Piano disk app to play the Piano.  The IQ has to low level outputs that go to a powered soundbar subwoofer combo that sucks. My goal is to be able to connect this to the Sonos system.  I currently have a full Arc system in the same room for the TV. 

I have Sonos Beam with two Sonos ones connected to a lg cx. The sound from apple 4k tv box sounds better via bluetooth than from wired hdmi 2.1 connection…..any ideas ?

Hi,My wife recently bought a gen2 from johnpye auction house without testing it first. The unit arrived with the white led flashing. I tried resetting but it never goes to the orange light. I connected it to the router through ethernet overnight without success.  The unit was bought at 260£ but at the moment I have a large paper weight that I cant make it work. Any suggestion to how to fix it ? 

I am unable to select and play either music or other audio using the Sonos app. The app will not allow me to select the speaker I want to use and Ifmi try and play anything via the currently selected speaker I get an “unable to connect.Try again later” notification.  However I can use Alexa to play music or radio stations to different speakers. i’ve also had problems with the app not showing all my system without constantly powering speakers off and on again. yesterday I logged out of the app, deleted it and reinstalled the app again. My system then appeared in it’s entirety and I could select Speakers and play both radio stations and Apple Music, however today the previous issues discribed above are back. My Sonos system includes: port, Beam Gen2, Roam, Era 100 and One. I use Apple Music and various Radio providers. I use an iPhone to run the Sonos app. Any advice on how to resolve would be appreciated as currently my whole system is practically unusable :-(  

I have used Sonos playing TIDAL for many years. Suddenly it won’t do that anymore. I have deleted TIDAL and reinstalled it. Managed to play one song, and that’s it. I can see my favourites playlists, suggestions from TIDAL etc - but that’s it. Suggestions anyone?

I was attempting to create a surround pair for my new Sonos Arc and when I went through the setup in the app, I realized I could not mix the surround pair.  I have two Sonos ONEs and two Symfonisk Lamps (the previous generation, not the current ones).What I wanted to do was use one of the ONEs and one of the Lamps as the surround pair to my Arc.While I was setting it up in the app, it picked up those 4 speakers and asked which one I wanted to use as the surround.  On selection of the first speaker, if it is the Sonos ONE that I selected, it will then ask if I want to use the second Sonos ONE to pair with, but it will not let me choose the Symfonisk speakers.  Alternatively, if I select the Symfonisk as my first speaker, it will ask if I want to use the second Symfonisk to pair with, but not the Sonos ONEs. When I googled mixing the two, it seems to be possible, but maybe I'm misunderstanding something?Could someone advise if this is correct behaviour, and I just won’t be able to do wha

 Hello, I have a black line on my Sonos Arc Ultra White, do you have that on yours too? It's not really visible in the photo but in real life yes, it stands out too much with the white of the product I have the impression that it's a small manufacturing defect​​​​

Every time I get rude help . And 3600 hundred bucks in speakers and I spend half the time giving up or jumping through hoops to make it work . Very frustrating.  Hey Sonos you let me down big time and you SUCK!!!!!

Hello everyone, I am very interested in the Sonos ACE headphones. However, I probably have a different use case than many of you here. I only want to use Bluetooth very rarely (e.g. when traveling).I'm looking for headphones that I can use wired most of the time in the office. So I have a few questions and would really appreciate your feedback: 1. My understanding is that Bluetooth is completely switched off when I use the headphones with the USB-C to USB-C cable. Is that correct? That would be perfect for me!2. can I also use the wired microphone for Teams Calls (on my Macbook)? Does that work?3. does the ANC also work if I have connected the headphones via USB-C to USB-C cable? Thank you very much for your answers!

I replaced my Arc with an Arc Ultra. I moved my Arc to another room. I’ve noticed the audio decoding on Netflix does not work properly. 5.1 on several shows has decoding issues where the music on a show is very low or missing. For example, the music is Derry Girls in many scenes is missing or very low. I don’t get this issue on Arc. The only way to work around the problem on Netflix is change audio to stereo. All the other streaming services seem to work fine. Lord of the rings on Prime for example sounds amazing. Sonos support could not help, telling me to contact Netflix. Not great.  My setup is Arc Ultra, sub 4, sub 3, 2x Era300

I’m running a 7YO Playbar with two Play surrounds and a subwoofer. Everything has worked fine until recently. I can control my system through the app on my phone, but I recently installed OSX 15 (Sequoia) on two of my Macs and now can no longer connect to my system from either Mac. I just downloaded and installed the most recent Sonos app and that didn’t change anything. The app is giving me a message saying my Mac firewall settings need to be adjusted, but I’ve tried both firewall on with Sonos inbound connections allowed, and firewall completely disabled, and neither has worked. My wife’s Mac is still running OS X 14.7 and I can connect through that Mac and desktop app without any problems, it’s just the ones that have been updated to OS X 15.Any suggestions on anything else I can try? As I said, I can use my phone, but I like using the desktop app when I’m sitting at my computer.

Hello!! I’ve been a Sonos user for a while now but have a few questions regarding my amp. I have a home system with multiple Eras (100s and 300s), One SL, Play 3, Move, Roam and a pair of Klipsch AW 525s hooked up to a Sonos amp. After doing some research the Klipsch’s are 8 Ohms with 75W of handling. I’m a looking to add another pair of speakers to the amp but am wondering if I can do with a pair of 100W 8 Ohm speakers. Can I do this or would this be to much for the amp to handle and would I have to get a separate amp for this?

Recently bought a Lp&No1 Bluetooth capable turntable and two ERA 100’s.  Both the turntable and the Sonos speakers work individually, but I cannot get them to pair over Bluetooth.The procedure in the LP Manual is:Turn on the turntablePlace the speaker in pairing modeSwitch the turntable to Bluetooth modeThe blue light will flash, then turn solid when paired, it never turns solid and the two devices are right next to each other.Now, I can get this turntable to connect via bluetooth to my phone, no issues, but  that’s because I have an interface I can press ‘accept’ on - I don’t have that on the turntable - so, they just sit there and stare at each other.I’m pretty annoyed if the answer is “sorry” like I highly suspect it is.

I am a little concerned about all the posts that talk to the 75ms input delay.  That may be the major issue throw my way as a deal breaker but I thought I’d still ask.I have an old ZP120 amp. We do a bit of karaoke at home with a little speaker with colourful light (kids love it). However, we can't get enough microphones connected for a decent singalong. My thought was buying a 4 way Bluetooth microphone mixer (with 6.35mm output jack), that I could connect with a 6.35mm to RCA cable, and plug that into the Sonos amp with speakers plugged in direct. We'd use TV to play the karaoke itself (music and lyrics) separate to this setup (alongside a disconnected whirly disco light). No use of the S1 app, just connectivity. Does that sound like it would work or does someone see an issue?
