Sonos AMP

Hello, I have a Sonos beam 2 connected to TV arc and also wired to ethernet as the basis of my sonos system for the house. I have some great Bose speakers that are no longer being used, but was wondering if sonos AMP would allow me to wirelessly connect these speakers as rear surround speakers (so beam 2 remains front L/R and the amp speaker rear L/R for surround). This seems a basic question - but I have read so many different things on line saying the AMP has to be connedted to TV and arc - it's not clear to a nuffy like me. Dont want to purchase if the above is not possible.

Unfortunately you cannot connect any third party speakers wireless to Sonos Amp. They must be wired and then they may be used as surrounds with your Beam.

To be clear, they can be wired to an Amp that is bonded to a front system, be that a Sonos soundbar or another Sonos Amp. The Amp can not drive surrounds without a Sonos ‘front’ system. Nor can one Amp provide both front and surround duties.

Some BOSE speakers require a BOSE amplifier with specific equalization. AMP cannot provide this.
