Get help and assistance with your Sonos system

Hi Anyone else having issues where BBC Sounds keeps going off and not coming back on? I only really use Sonos for the radio and the alarm. I've uninstalled BBC sounds, changed channels in the app, router, uninstalled everything else. Done everything as a standard and nothing is working. Funnily enough, it's been since the app updated on March 3rd and no matter how many times I tell them when I contact support, no one asks me about it..

Advice, anyone?  I’ve tried the solutions I’ve found online, but they only work for a few days tops and then I’m back to square one.I have 3 Sonos speakers.  The S1 app worked fine for a long time, and suddenly it doesn’t see any products when I open it.  So I uninstall, restart my phone, restart the speakers, restart the router, re-install the app, and MAYBE it will work.  SOMETIMES, if it wasn’t working before and I go into my mac and start the speakers there, the mobile app will suddenly see it.  the alarms aren’t working, the app isn’t working, I can’t manage the alarms, and after uninstalling/reinstalling multiple times and its still not working, I’m pissed.  I can’t connect my spotify or anything else to the speakers via bluetooth, which I used to be able to. Sound just doesn’t come out.  But if I just walk up to the speakers and press play, they’ll play the last thing I was listening to.  I’m so done.  I spent so much money on this system and less than 3 years later it

My alarms all of a sudden stopped working. I looked in the Sonos Community for solutions and unfortunately the following troubleshooting suggestions did not work:Update software Delete alarms and set new alarms Set alarms on a desktop Checked time zone (even though I’m Arizona, which daylight savings doesn’t apply to us.I would appreciate your help.Thank you

I moved my Play:5 to another room. After that it kind of ended up in a hickup.I try to describe my problem. If I start playback of music from the Sonos App or via Airplay the Sonos indicator light toggles between orange and white. When I touch the play button twice it starts to play.As long asI don’t pause the music play on. Switching to another track works aswell.But when I press on pause and then start the music again the blinking starts again and I have to double touch the play button on the Sonos again.Is that a known problem? What can I do? I already did a factory reset. I moved it back to the old location. I tried Ethernet Cable. Same problem.

Back again with yet another Sonos issue that frankly shouldn’t be an issue I have three Sonos products: Era 100, Beam and recently, (which frankly was a mistake investing more money in this product), Roam 2. Someone please enlighten me why I’m able to use voice command on any speaker to set the volume of individual speakers but I cannot set my volume for my Roam 2 with voice command whatsoever. For example, I can tell my Era 100 to set the Beam volume to 5, I can tell my Beam to set the volume to 10, but I cannot tell my Roam 2 to change the volume of my Beam OR Era 100 OR even Roam 2, nor can I tell my Beam OR Era 100 to set the volume of my Roam 2. Any time I try to change the volume of my Roam 2, it changes the volume in ALL my speakers. Like this is honestly ridiculous. It’s the same software. Is it normal that if I try to Airplay 2 from Macbook Pro apple music app to multiple devices, those from SONOS often failed to sync well or just wont sync together. All my others airplay devices are rock solid on Airplay 2 from my Macbook but not the Sonos… I know that if I use the Sonos app to sync them together after having start the stream from Apple Music to only one Sonos device, it will work fine but I find this step very unpleasant because i need to do it a lot of time in a day…Is there a fix on the way? I recently purchased a Sonos Beam 2 to pair with a new TV (Hisense U8N). Set up went fine (connected via HDMI to eARC), and the product sounds great.However, previous speakers I had were better able to produce crisp dialogue, and I was hoping that the Speech Enhancement feature would be able to produce something along those lines.However, I am able to discern absolutely no audible impact when I toggle the Speech Enhancement feature on and off. Is this normal? I don’t have a great sense for how apparent the impact should be. Again, based on prior experience, my assumption was that it would be audibly apparent when flipping it on and off, but it is not. I’ve tried this across a variety of different audio sources, including cable TV, Netflix, Apple TV, etc.I spent about 2.5 hours on the phone with Sonos support, submitting diagnostics, unplugging and replugging everything, doing a factory reset, deleting the app, etc. Have tried all apparent combos of Speech Enhanc

I have an LG OLED TV and have bought a Beam 2 to add to my sub mini and era 100’s to create a home theatre.My TV has Dolby Atmos and all the settings for this are available.. until I connect my Beam through the HDMI ARC port.No sources I use show Dolby Atmos, and all the TV settings are greyed out.I had a call with Sonos support who connected to my system and confirmed all settings and connections are correct. He then convinced me that the Dolby 5.1 I am getting is better than Atmos.I am not convinced that it is based on my Sons experience with Samsung & Beam.Can anyone advise? I am considering returning the Beam as I feel I am not getting the best experience for my money which is disappointing having built up the system based on Sonos products Any advice is welcome. 

I brought my Sonos system from Germany to India. It’s not getting connected. 

 I have a Sony Bravia TV, Apple TV 4K, and Sonos Beam. I'm experiencing connectivity issues with my audio setup.My current setup:- On my Sony TV: I've selected "Use external speakers"- On my Apple TV: I've set Audio Format to "Stereo"- I'm using an HDMI cable to connect the Beam to my TV's HDMI ARC port (HDMI 3)The Issue:Every time I turn on my TV, the audio doesn't automatically route to my Sonos Beam. The only way to get sound through the Beam is by manually accessing the Apple TV menu and selecting the Beam as an "external speaker" each time.Has anyone experienced this issue or found a solution? I'd appreciate any help!

It has been almost a year and this new app is unusable. The other one worked great, but was forced to upgrade when I made the dire mistake of buying more. I’ve gotten rid of a few speakers because it wouldn’t be compatible with the new app which cost me money. I have nine speakers right now and two of them work all the time, the rest on and I’ve tried many times to hook them to the same network, etc. Been through it. When is anybody going to be accountable at Sonos. Firing people doesn’t help all of us. Fix it or pay people back. 

Do Sonos is working on another material to be less warm on the ear , to wear longer and be able to wear at gym. Would love to be able to swap to something like a mesh or mesh fabric or something that is wick proof .   I have one of these swappable on my Meta headset and it’s awesome for high energy game . I will not mind loosing a little bit of sound quality for more comfort during warm season and while doing workout at the gym. Moderator edit: Replaced last post with first post and removed duplicate posts.

I need detailed guidance how to connect Sonos Port to Beoplay A9 4th gen so that it can play along in sync with the Sonos system of speakers I have (Era 300, Arc). So far I was able to connect the Port to the Sonos system and connected the Port to the B&O A9 using an RCA to 3.5 mm cable (A9 has only 3.5 mm in). No sound whatsoever coming out of A9. I used the line out ports of the Port to plug the RCA. I am doing something wrong apparently as for now only the Sonos speakers are playing the online radio stations, not the A9. Guidance needed

I just received a brand new pair of Sonos Ace headphones. I share an office with a colleague, during meetings on TEAMS my other colleagues have said that they do not hear me properly and rather hear my colleague who is in the background on a different call. Does anyone know how to fix this?  So far i am thinking that Sonos Ace is not suitable for a shared or open office environment. . . 

Listening on my sonos 1 to Ed Sheran, the sound quality was dulled. Nothing I could to change this. The other day I played my old apple ipod on my old nose sound dock. Sound quality phenomenal, absolutely phenomenal. Sonis you really have to up your game. I've been in hifi all my life and the sonos 1 speaker is quite simply a wireless speaker. End of. 

Hey guys,I know this has been asked before already, but I couldn't find a recent topic regarding this.At my parents’ place, we have a fairly extensive Sonos setup that has been in place for many years. It’s a mix of older and newer equipment, but everything runs via the S2 controller. Currently, everything operates over SonosNet. A few Sonos devices are wired, with only two devices having Sonos Wi-Fi enabled (to prevent STP issues with Unifi). This setup works reasonably well, but compared to my own setup at home, I notice that everything is much more sluggish. Grouping devices often takes tens of seconds, volume changes don’t register immediately, skipping sons occasionally takes some time, etc. Summary of the setup: They have a main house and a smaller garden house that are far apart in terms of Wi-Fi coverage. Main• 2x 

When will we be able to playback just s single episode of a podcast within pocket cast.It adds the whole season every time .When will Sonos also mark it as played the next time you enter the cast?The above worked earlier in the good old app.

I love my Arc ultra despite sonos app going nuts every other hour. Yesterday i dusted it off and noticed this on speaker’s right side. i have a photo from two angles. It is not a bump because I baby my Sonos stuff… it looks like a excess piece of plastic. You can not feel it under the finger, lift it, nothing…Under naked eye it looks 4 times smaller. At least once a week I am unable to use the search in the app. It appears as though it is going to search and then goes back to the Home Screen.
