Seriously guys, what have you done?No way is it stable.Navigation is terrible.A lot of the old features are missing.it looks like a half baked attempt at the Apple Music UI.You’ve made an average app a terrible app.I’d recommend pushing the old version until you’ve sorted this one out.

WHEN WILL THE DISASTER OF THE UPGRADE BE PUT RIGHT?

How can you disable the ads being displayed on the Sonos app?  The x does nothing. Just prompts a banner to order them, How do I get rid of it?  Ads on a app, please get rid of it. 

Sonos straight up sucks a**! You literally can’t do anything with this new app!!!!! Change volume? Nope, search for music? Change speaker config? Nope! Nothing!!!  yet the CEO who clearly is in way over his head, just denies it and tells his customers that they are too stupid and don’t realize what they have! Typical uneducated liberal elitist! He clearly is too stupid for him to hold his position, which is why the company has tanked under his “ leadership”!!!! stay away from Sonos, it sucks and is way overpriced!!! Moderator Note: Modified in accordance with the Community Code of Conduct.

Has anyone in Canada considered a class action if they don’t get rid of the new app which appears to be a marketing or advertising (or both) money grab?

Why didn't the developers conduct a BETA test prior to rolling-out/pushing the latest Sonos  App?  ...Is there a way to revert back/restore/restow the previous app?In which this case the previous app was most effective & user friendlier..    I like to know who sold the ideal to the corp/CEO’s?  

Will SonoS be coming out with a touchscreen unit streamer that has an Album display like the Eversolo DMP A6? I have just returned an Eversolo to Amazon as it kept losing connectivity (Dropouts). I am considering a Cambridge Audio CXN100 as an alternative?

After an automatic update to the new Android App, 80.xxx..., I understand that the alarm and snooze functions have disappeared. But additionally my Sonos favorites (podcasts) are unplayable. When I search again for a favorite podcast, I can see its chapters in the found podcast, but adding it to my favorites and trying to play it out of my favorites list always and without exception leads to an unspecific error message. On my wife's Poco mobile, the new app every time crashes right from the start. This is truly the shittiest update I have ever received!

As a longtime Sonos customer I am extremely disappointed in this latest Sonos App update.  Frankly, it is a ‘buggy’ mess!  No timer, room selections don’t lock and select “by themselves”, music selection non-functional, the list goes on and on. There should have been much better beta testing before putting this version into production.  I wish I could undo this update. 

1) With the new app I have lost access to  Music library On ny NAS.i cannot search in YouSeethis makes all my investment in sonos speakers useless.Give me s2 back. 

Does anyone know or has looked into the Consumer Rights Act concerning Sonos? Willfully and deliberately vandalising a product by releasing an unfinished software update rendering the product unusable surely must be covered by consumer rights. I've tried raising it with Which? and The Guardian but haven't had a response. I emailed the CEO address and got a boiler plate response with no links in it. Sonos' behaviour in all this has been truly shocking.

After The upgrade….impossible to reconnect Sonos Era 100 and a Sonos Move. Background: my WiFi network also migrated and is now using WiFi 6 standard. Both products just don’t want to connect to the network. The systematically go for an extender (even when I tell them NOT to connect through an extender). A bit frustrating when you arrive in a loop in the app…. Resetting to factory settings not helping either…So Sonos, what should I do?

Hands up if you HATE THE NEW APP ti the extent that you would be willing to ditch SONOS altogether, I know I am!!!!

Hi,I never had an issue with my Sonos System and I never had to ask questions since the system ran smoothly for me since the early days in 2005 with my ZP100.  I am writing now since for some reason this update and new user interface has been an epic fail.  I’m sure you’ve had many questions regarding user interface since the new app was introduced.Key issues since new app.Adding to que is gone. No option to clear que. rooms will play automatically if que is still listed in respective rooms ( odd). was this on purpose? Loading time is ridiculously slow or eternal. Limited Sonos favorites , never had this as an issue before. Not able to add one song to current que  while playing current playlist User interface was fine the way it was why revamp the whole thing and make it a cluster for the Sonos community?Recommendations:Revert to the  old version user interface

Hello, hope I can find some help here.  I currently have Play 1, Play 3, and Move 1 speakers all configured to play music over WiFi through my Sonos app.  I am looking to a wireless headphones so that I can also play them from the Sonos app along with my other speakers simultaneously.  Are there any headphones that can accomplish this?  Bluetooth does not apply to this, as I wish to play my music on many speakers and a pair of headphones at the same times. TIA.

I'm not understanding how to easily mute in the new app. The previous version allowed you to just press the left end of the volume slider.  I know I can just slide all the way to the left, but that seems a bit clumsy/slow. I don’t want to use voice control either.

I have three main complaints about this community...1. Search: When you search for something there is no option to sort the results and no option to restrict the search to specific fields (e.g. restrict search to thread titles). Such features are commonly available on other forums.2. Notifications: You can elect to receive notifications if someone posts a comment in a thread you have subscribed to. But this is too broad. I don't want a notification for every single comment posted in a thread. I only want notifications if someone replies specifically to a comment I have made. This is a common option on other forums. 3. Linking of posts within threads: In other forums its common for a reply to a post within a thread to be linked to that post. For example you can commonly click a link in the reply to be taken back to the original comment. This makes it much easier to follow conversations within long threads, but is not a feature on this community.I’m assumin

Sorry to see such a good company fall by the way ..! Here are my gripes      1.no longer any customer service …you can’t get   a    callback .ive rung 5 times now and each time I ring it is  over an hours wait ..(that alone speaks volumes) what working people can wait that long to solve their problemmy older products have been effectively made obsolete ..I purchased a new speaker only to end up losing my connection to my famil room sound system ..but once lose 4. !  the new app doesn’t work . purchased a Sonos 1 to connect to my previous Sonos 1 and now told they are not compatible .. so you can’t add to your system anymore  These speakers are not cheap ..they are good ..but useless unless the above are fixed  …would I recommend these products?  I’m actively discouraging family and friends . Sonos  have lost touch with their customer base . Why would you not work using what customers had and allowed n

How did such a poorly tested app even get released in the first place?

I purchased a Sonos Roam SL three weeks ago. I already own 14 products and enjoy their performance. However, I cannot get the Roam to register in the Sonos system. After 6 hours (total or 4 phone calls) and now six emails, all I am being told is the case has been elevated to Level 3. AT&T customer service treats their customers better than this. I am beyond frustrated with Sonos right now. Who can I contact at Sonos who might give a damn-customer service certainly does not!

I have been adding to my 7 or 8 playlists for years since my son-in-law gave us Sonos as a present when our music centre was finally obsolete.  Since the new app I can’t find any of my playlists and I can’t remember exactly what I had.  My choices dated back to early sixties and if I can’t retrieve my playlists I won’t have any use for our Sonos any more.  What has happened?  Did someone forget ‘if it ain’t broke don’t fix it’?  I am devastated and heartbroken. I am back to using a personal CD player and my neighbours hate the fact they can’t hear me singing along to old favourites when I’m in the kitchen cooking.  Please change it back to how it was.

As a long time user my experience continues to get worse with every “improvement”.  So frustrating!since you forced me to spend thousands to replace my original system, your apps continue to be less intuitive and harder to use every update.  Maybe try it as a beta test with long time users before crushing us with rebuilding everything we finally got working with the last version. please become a user friendly company!  I love the product but hate the hours wasted and money wasted on every change you make.Gary
