I am confused totally - all I want to do is play music and over the last 20 years I have promoted how good SONOS is to anyone at our place - we party and socialise - that’s it! - now I can not even play music from our library or our stored favourites to our visitors that we have spent huge dollars buying our songs - I am shattered and I have no idea how to explain this to our family about SONOS and how it used to be so good - possibly the market leader - pls SONOS stop sending me updates on your new products as you are just opening the wound more as I am crying with what you have done to our huge investment  in your equipment 😢

can anyone from SONOS help explain (I don’t even think anyone will reply - BTW —  in my role as a CEO of our global organisation I reply to both positive and negative feedback

Sonos have not removed the ability to play music from your own local library, despite what you may have read (and despite many people who knowingly promote this false narrative).

Having said that many people have had issues accessing their library due to various issues.  Your purchases (why do people keep calling it an investment ??) are still good.  You might want to give a few details about where your music is stored and what issues you have or errror messages you are getting so that other users here can help you get back your access to your library.
