new sonos app

The new Sonos app is appalling, nothing works well on it.  Since the latest upgrade it now takes a few goes for it to even see my Sonos system (5  oldish play speakers and 2 roams - one of which is a replacement for a replacement that keeps dropping off the network so I don't use).  I often cant turn volumes up or down and I tried to stop one of my speakers playing the radio but eventually had to turn it off manually!  It's dii I want see speakers if they go offline whereas the old app did.  I cannot believe how rubbish it is and won't be buying Sonos again. A controller that doesn't control - ridiculous!

Since the app upgrade, it’s not been possible for me to add my Play 1 to the app. It’s bricked at the moment.
