Sonos won’t import new albums from iTunes for the first time. No trouble shooting has helped.

We have been able to search up and play individual songs offered through the Pandora Plus music service through Sonos for as long as we can remember. As of a couple of days ago, this functionality no longer exists in the controller app. As a result, all Pandora songs within our playlists are now unavailable. When we do click on them we receive the message: “this account does not support this feature”. When we search individual songs displayed under the songs tab in the controller and then click to play them, a station is played instead. Is anyone else able to play individual songs from the Pandora music service? Sonos tech support insists that the ability to search and play individual Pandora songs has never existed. The Pandora app allows me to do so though. Strange indeed. We just upgraded to Pandora Plus which allows you to search and play what you want but only after you click through one ad. I wonder if this is causing the issue. Thanks in advance. 

Hi, I have set up a music queue directly on the mixcloud app but this doesn't appear when I choose the mixcloud service through the Sonos app. Is this an issue that others see or is there a way to sync the queue that appears under the mixcould service?

Just upgraded to a new ASUS RT-AX3000 Router and got everything working included my SONOS system. Then wen moving the Music USB drive to the ASUS router and setting it up per the helpful into on this forum, it seems to work for about 5 secs and then throughs the following message...” Music Files Not Available - '(music server path)’ is no longer available. The device where the music files are stored may not be powered on, or the path may have changed.”  The device is powered on and the path was not changed. I have submitted the diagnostic information and the confirmation number is: 1409766191.Please help. Thank you. 

Hi all,Among other things, the "Miłomuzomania" playlist S2 will only find in the Spotify and does not find it in the Apple Music.Do you have the same issue (S2 13.4.1 on iPadOS 15.2)?Regards,Piotr

I have a number of local playlists stored  using Itunes on a local drive.  They appear correctly on my iPhone se (1) but not on my iPad.  If I launch one on my phone it appears as playing on the iPad and I can chop and change the music.  But does not appear as a played item when next I use the iPad.  Driving me mad.   This is a relatively recent phenomenon. 

On my sonos beam. Why is the quality of the Spotify app so bad. When the beam is playing Spotify from a TV app it sounds good. From the sonos app using Spotify sounds. Terrible with no bottom end. I have seen loads of complaints about this but no. One from. Sonos had adequately answered. I now. Have to have the TV running. Spotify and run Spotify from there to get decent sound quality surely after years of. People complaining. Someone should have an adequate solution to this. 

I see many posts from over a year go on how Youtube music (premium or otherwise) does not show our playlists.   WHAT is the status on this?  I just ported all my playlists from Spotify because its awful, only to learn about this issue.I am unable to see only 3 of my playlists.  Has there been a fix to this?

When listening to Audible on Sonos Roam, my playback stops randomly. I’ve checked that there’s no sleep timer, and the amount of playback time varies. There are also times when the boom will skip ahead several chapters. I’ll be listening to chapter 1, then suddenly I’m listening to chapter 3. No explanation. 

I am having some drop out issue with songs that are on the SYNOLOGY NAS with DSM 7.xSYNOLOGY DS1821+ NAS with latest DSM 7.0 version.SONOS S2 System (Wired and Wireless)Three SONOS components grouped (AMP - Wired, Five - Wired and One - Wireless)All wired SONOS components are connected to various TP-LINK Managed Switches and have the proper STP / RSTP configurations. The wife selects a song (FLAC Format) that is stored on the SYNOLOGY DS1821+ NASSONOS makes a SMB3 connection to the NAS however the connection is coming from a SONOS Port that is not part of the group. In the SYNOLOGY connection log, it shows this connection numerous times and then it will show the IP address of the SONOS Amp that was part of the group and then go back to the SONOS Port. The timing appears to coincide with the music dropping.Questions:Why would the initial connection be made through the SONOS Port? Why would multiple connections be open to the SYNOLOGY NAS by the SONOS Port?

This is an odd one.  I have listened to WXPN (U of Penn, Philadelphia) on Sonos for years.  Last week it stopped working on Sonos.  I am running S1with a variety of legacy and new gear.  When I start WXPN through TuneIn on a zone, the stream immediately flips from PLAYING back to STOPPED - every time I click PLAY it immediately flips to STOP Other stations work fine through TuneIn - WXPN is the only one with an issue (that I have found) Even sister stream XPN2 still plays on Sonos through TuneIn I went to a friend and saw the same behavior (also running S1) WXPN plays perfectly through the TuneIn iPhone app (not is Sonos)I spent an hour on the phone with Sonos support (before our connection dropped)Running diagnostics (even run while trying to start WXPN repeatedly) the rep saw nothing odd that indicated an issue We tested WXPN through (Sonos) TuneIn, Sonos Radio and (Sonos Radio.Net) - all had the same behavior - clicking PLAY immediately flipped to STOP; all other radio stations thro

Here’s our situation:-- Sonos Arc, Sub (Gen3), 2 One SL-- Listening to Amazon Music using the Sonos App-- Every so often (maybe every 4 or 5 songs) a song will start and there will be no sound.  You can see the progress bar moving as though the song is playing but the sound is just Muted.-- In the Sonos App, if you pause and then play, the sound is back on. Is this a known issue?  It seems to have started sometime around the last time I updated the Sonos App.   

Got pockecasts so podcasts would work with my Sonos system. Worked great for a couple weeks, now doesn’t sync properly at all. Soooo annoying! Anyone have a fix?

I have used Sonos with Spotify to play podcasts for the last few months.  After the first of the year, I have not been able to do so.At first, I thought it was another Sonos glitch (I do not use the alarm function because it regularly forgets certain rooms or speakers and has to be manually reset…which is not feasible when I am asleep).  But nothing seems to be working.  I see on the forum that this was a problem a year or so ago, but I have been able to play podcasts just last month. Can anyone provide any guidance?  This is extremely annoying as I purchased a pair of Roams specifically to be able to play podcasts in the morning.

Hi guys,Having some difficulty getting Sonos to index a new NAS drive I’ve added.It finds the network share and specific music just fine and starts indexing but it never finishes the job (tried this a few times now). It shouldn’t be prohibitively large (135gb of MP3s) as it worked fine on the previous NAS hard drive (I’ve had to swap a faulty SSD for a new one- that’s the only reason I’m having to reindex).It’s said that it’s been ‘Updating Music Library’ for about 20 minutes now on my Mac OS Sonos Controller.  It’d be useful to know a little more about the actual progress of the job. 

In the Android app, when I try to add my existing Apple Music subscription.I hit the :“I’m already a member” buttonAnd then I get 1 second of spinner. But then I get a white screen forever: Forever whiteAnd AFAIS I can only add Apple Music via the Sonos app on the phone. I have no iOS device. I own a mac and Android devices.I’d have plenty of Linux devices.. But I guess those are anyway not being supported by Sonos (which is kinda sucks to be honest).So  

Recently got a new Apple MacBook Pro. I seem to have lost been able to update my music library with Apple Music. Now I get the message “ //MacBook-Pro/Music is no longer available. Go to settings>system>music library>music library setup to check path. “ Grateful for assistance to get this working again. Thx. regardsMike

I’ve had lots of problems listening to Deezer Premium on my Sonos system for the last couple of months.  Every track drops in and out (except on my Beam, which is wired to the router) for the first 10-15 seconds of playback.  It even happens when I pause and restart a track halfway through.I had assumed this was due to wireless interference (I’ve recently added a load of IKEA smart bulbs throughout the house) but today I realised that my issues started when Deezer “upgraded” all their packages - for a price, obviously - to “HiFi audio quality sound” in October.  A bit off-topic, but in my view this was a thinly-disguised and cynical piece of opportunism from a company which put out a press release only six months earlier promising:“We just wanted to let you know that Deezer isn’t going to raise prices in the middle of the pandemic. To begin, I use many streaming music services and they all stream flawlessly through my S1 Sonos network, except for Amazon Music Unlimited.  I read all of the content in the Sonos knowledge base about how to address stop-and-start issues while streaming music.  None of the causes included in the Sonos issue punch-list apply to me.  My average download speeds are consistently in excess of 650mbps even during peak usage periods. None of the other causes apply to my set-up. The key issue is that all of the streaming services I use besides Amazon Music Unlimited do not have any stop-and-start issues.  So it’s clearly logical that the start and stop issue i’m experiencing isn’t due to any of the issues documented in the Sonos knowledge base. Only Amazon Music Unlimited stops and starts. I have a mixture of 12 S1 and S2 generation devices so (unfortunately) I’m forced by Sonos to run the S1 controller software (which really makes me angry with Sonos.  Shame on Sonos).  The Sonos “solutions”

Hello … I own six Play 1 speakers and recently purchased a Beam 2. I decided it would be a good time to update to S2 since the Play 1’s are compatible, and I wanted to move a speaker from the living/TV room since I now had the Beam. The update itself on all Play 1’s and controller apps on both Windows and my mobile devices (all IOS) appeared to be without issue, however, since I use Plex for most of my new music due to the memory max issue, I didn’t realize that Sonos can no longer see/play music from my main library on my laptop (Windows). I went into my native Sonos playlists and while it would load the song list, it will not play the songs and eventually throws a 1002 error. I can play anything on my Network/NAS drive that is in Plex, but nothing from my Sonos main library. As a test, I created a new folder on my local hard drive and added some music and then added that folder to Sonos and it plays without issue.At this point, my thought is that something happened in the update proc

I have submitted diagnostics 288056268I can no longer access my iTunes library or shared music folders currently stored on my Mac. Both my Play 1 speakers and the Mac controller are version 13.4.1 - all have been updated today to see if that was the issue. Firewall is set up correctly and it makes no difference whether the firewall is on or off. I tried to update the shared folder but received a 1002 error message. The mac controller has now been updating the music library for over an hour to no avail. Thanks in advance for your help!

Bonjour à tous, j’ai depuis septembre un home cinéma Sonos, et j’ai un problème avec Apple Music. J’ai bien mon compte sur l’app Sonos s2, j’arrive à accéder au menu Apple Music, mais pas la section ma Music et donc à mes playlist. J’ai un message d’erreur (voir les screens). J’ai ré installé l’application ré-accorder les droits Apple Music mais rien n’y fait … Avez-vous une solution svp ?  

After the latest android update on a samsung S20+ , when opening the Sonos app it displays the message that it needs to be updated,  when you press the update button it takes you to google play,  but there is no update,  I uninstalled and reinstalled but same issue.Now I don't have access to my sonos all or my sonos system :-(

I just signed up to Amazon Music and have connected the service to Sonos. Problem is I am only seeing up to the letter “L” in the playlist library?

Few days ago radio.net stopped streaming radio stations in Sonos App. Streaming the station over airplay works but not via Sonos app at all.
