When listening to amazon music hd within the Sonos s2 app ,. the song may continue playing (since I see the playback occurring in the app) but there is no sound.   This has happened a few times in past week.  Also, at times the payback just completely stops.   Now the interesting. thing is If I use the Amazon Music app and use ‘Alexa cast’ to send it to the same Sonos speakers (stereo pair of fives) it works perfectly.  

Try removing Amazon Music from the Sonos app and re-adding it.

What works for me is to switch to a different Amazon Station and then switch back.

Interesting glitch as once your current speaker goes silent you can group in another speaker and it will start playing.
