Hi! I found my solution to having several Sonos devices still on the S1 controller and needing a smbv1 Nas device to share my music library. Finding a current router based nas or a current nas with out of the box support for smbv1 seemed fruitless short of spending more than I wanted, so the low cost alternative was to build one myself using a raspberry pi 4 with a USB attached drive and running open media vault, which allows setting smb to v1. Definitely not secure to put accessible from the internet,  but secure enough for my home network. Streaming from it to my sonos devices is back!

I have gen 1 speakers running through  S1 controller.  Today I’m getting email messages and in-app messages to download “ the new Sonos app.” Anybody know if that app is replacing S1 or is it for S2? 

Hello,I am wondering if the following setup is possible with Sonos. I have a bluetooth turntable, that would connect via bluetooth to the Era100 pair. From there, will I be able to also use the Arc soundbar?

We have a Play:5 speaker and sonos Connect. The connect unit is attached to a receiver, so that receiver transmits the Music two for tanning rooms. The plate five speaker is in the fitness center playing in the majority of the space.  We have been constantly losing connectivity using iHeartRadio. We are able to play Amazon music continuously without any interruptions. We also run Lorex camera system for security. Everything was running fine since May 1 when we opened and now a week ago the interruption of audio has started looking for any advice from the community? Thank you in advance.  IT guys have created separate networks for all cams, sonos players and everything else we have going on in the facility. We can’t figure this one out. 

Seen a number of threads on the topic of audio dropout on BBC Sounds, however not sure if there is a definitive fixI've seen this problem within the last week. Select a BBC station and it drops out after a few seconds. It does this a number of times and then appears to settle.Does anyone have a fix for this? Thanks 

I'm currently experiencing connectivity problems with my Samsung S20 Ultra phone when using the Spotify app. Specifically, I cannot see my Sonos devices to connect. However, when I check with another Android or Apple device, the Sonos devices are visible and connect seamlessly

I cannot play the new Stones single through Sonos app. I can, however, play it via Airplay. Screenshot of error message follows. Any thoughts?  

I can't add the mixcloud app to my sonos account. Please help.

Hi, I have a Sonos one SL and I use the sonos app on IOS. When in ibiza I used a sonos system in an air bnb and played ibiza global radio on the app. All fine. Came back to the UK and bought my first sonos to play it here. Setup and the app won’t find Ibiza global radio or any other ibiza stations really. I’ve added tunein but that won’t find it. I’ve researched about adding radio but not getting anywhere.Am I able to add this on the sonos app and play in the UK? Presumed it would just find it straight away no problems. Struggling, help!thanks 

With Stitcher going away (does Sonos even know this?), I transitioned to Spotify to listen to my podcasts on Sonos. Open Spotify on the Sonos app and all you get is music playlists. Why doesnt the interface match the actual Spotify one, and why is this the case with just about all of the Sonos APIs. They are all missing some key elements. 

Hi all, I have a large-ish music library, around 30,000 files, mostly mp3 and a few flac.I've shared the music folder on my PC and want to add it to Sonos app so I can play it on my speakers.I do the 'add library' steps, give the path, username, password and that's all fine.On the Sonos home screen I think see the Music Library with a message that it is syncing.So far, so good.However... When I return to check on it later, the Library icon is gone from the home screen and the library is not shown in settings.I go through the process again and the same thing happens, I've tried it 5 times now.I've rebooted the PC in case of any issues there (no errors showing there).I'm sharing this library successfully to Plex so I'm pretty sure my library / PC is not the problem.Also, I've added Plex to Sonos and that can play fine.I could just use Plex but I'd rather not be tied to it and would like to see the native Sonos library interface.I'm using the latest version of the Sonos app for Android 13

Using Sonos on Android favourites do not appear anywhere

Good morning folks, been a while.Have seen this is the past but only very occasional. But yesterday and this morning, it’s happening a few times.I have a Tidal playlist (also saved as a Sonos playlist) with Tidal as the source. It’s been playing to two Amp’s that then feed to some B&W in-ceiling speakers in the lounge and bathroom.But at odd times the past half day, both have started playing tracks out of an OST playlist at very random times.So at about 5.30 this morning we had Nicolas Britell’s Succession Theme and then just past 6.00 Johann Johannsson’s ‘The Beast’ from Sicario. If you going to woke by anything, they are both great tracks to be woke by, but I’d rather have the choice. 😀There have been no configuration changes or additions. SW is kept up to date and I’m not aware of any updates the last couple of days.Interested if anyone has any procedures or solutions that I can look at to resolve this.Many thanks in advance

Hi. I am using sonos 2 controller. Everytime I try and play a song through sonos it’s says the connection is lost. If I play it through Spotify and then attach it through Bluetooth through the sonos speak it works fine. This app is driving me mad. 

Desktop and Android app have started telling me "spotify returned no results for _____ in artists. Please try a different category or a new search term" this morning. Has replicated on multiple devices. Only happens for Spotify and only in "artists", albums and playlist search still works. Any idea if I changed a setting or if something is wrong on their end?I’ve reset the speakers and restarted the apps.

Set-Up: 2 rooms w/wired Arc’s, sub and surrounds. 1 room w/a Beam.Network: Eero w/an extenderSystem has been working fine, with the occasional missing speaker after an update, but nothing like this. Updated Sonos app yesterday. Checked for a system (speaker) update, but didn’t find one in the app (Still unsure if there was an actual speaker system update). Everything worked as normal.This morning my app couldn’t find my system - went through the app prompts on how to correct and was able to get them all connected. Soon after, the same thing occurred and my app showed the “Unable to connect to Sonos. Let’s fix it” banner. After troubleshooting, I checked to see if there were any updates to Eero or Frontier/Router, and the latter updated software overnight.The really weird thing to me, is that even though the app can’t find the system, the speakers are all working with the tv (just can’t get S2 app to find the system).I’m not very tech savvy, but when I look in the Eero app, I can see al

Just wondering if Sonos has fixed this known issue... I have multiple songs streaming through the Sonos app from Spotify. When I put them on repeat it plays the first time through and then only 18 seconds the next round before skipping and repeating from the beginning over and over. Each time only playing 18 seconds.  I've tried all of the various suggested fixes with regards to routers and bandwidth and channels. I've removed Spotify and reinstalled.  Really hope there's been progress here.  Thanks-Mario

Why Sonos removes the ability to play songs stored in your mobile devices, after the latest upgrade?This make my Sonos system totally useless other than for watching TV and Neflix.Come on Sonos, bring back the feature!

How do I disable apple airplay?

My sonos system suddently gets “access denied” to my synology NAS but only for my Play 5 gen 1 and connet AMP gen 1. New sonos AMP and play 1 works fine? Hope someone are able to help me???

I mostly use Amazon Music on Sonos, but when I scroll through the artists it stops at D. I can search for a specific artists and it will come up, but i would like to be able to scroll through and browse. I have tried to disconnect and reconnect the Amazon account, tried to refresh, logged out and back in to sonos app. Any suggestions? 

I play my daughter a baby sleep spotify playlist through the Sonos at night. And if I try to listen to a podcast on my phone the sonos will stop playing. I have a spotify family plan. Does anyone have a solution for this? Do I need to reach out to Spotify instead? Thanks for any help you can offer.

I can logon to the SONOS website but the SONOS App gives me and invalid email or password.I reset my password several time but it does not work on the App only on the website.
