iPhone and Sonos ceased connecting

I use Sonos S1 Controller with my iPhone 7+. Suddenly this morning the mobile reported that it was unable to find a Sonos system. Meanwhile my iPad, mac laptop and desktop continue to work with my Sonos system (6 speakers all on same network). My iOS is up-to-date 15.8. None of the solutions suggested worked or were appropriate. Any ideas?

Describe your network and router please. This sounds like the phone is either connecting to a secondary network hub with a different subnet, or possibly a work related VPN type blocking on the phone.
