Having problems with Android when playing Sonos playlist on S2 app. The playlist goes back to the beginning of the particular playlist rather than the track being played. This does not happen on Apple IOS devices but on Android.Does anyone have a fix for this this?  

I lost power in my condo.  After it came back on, I rebooted my router and restarted my ipad and Sonos app.  When I try to play music on my Sonos app with Spotify, I keep getting message “unable to add song to queue”. Any one have any suggestions?

Hi,im using Audioteka app for audio books. Is there any way how to connect it to the sonos speaker on Android? I find quite confusing that not all audio is playing via the sonos speaker. Thanks

The Connect Amp that drives my four outdoor speakers no longer outputs sound to one side (right side). The other left side works fine and I have switched the speakers around to make sure it’s not the speakers.Tried rebooting and resetting to no avail. Is the amp blown?

Port will not connect. Port was set up and working. Haven’t used for awhile. Network has not changed. Have reset router and taken port connections out and put back in. Still will not connect.

I’ve been using Sonos speakers and enjoy them.  I had to accept that they took away “On My Phone” option, but how can one access Sonos on another computer in the hosuehold and use one’s music library as well? When I access the Sonos app on my mac, it reads the one I’m using at the time.  My spouse can’t just open the app on her computer and simply add her library as well.  Nobody wants to remove the current music library in settings and then update the new computer’s different library each time it’s used in the house? This makes NO sense.  Any help is appreciated.  If this isn’t fixed or planned in the near future, it’s time to sell the system.   Thanking you in advance.

Hi,I have a YouTube music playlist with 1127 songs. In the Sonos app not even half of these are being displayed. It stops somewhere around 400.I have removed the service and added it back, this doesn't help. I have reset the entire system, this didn't help either. Any ideas how to make the entire playlist display for browsing ? 

As stated, my Imported Playlists do not include my iMusic library playlists. I do not subscribe to iMusic streaming service. My music library resides in the customary location on my Mac HD. I am running Mac OS 12.0.1. Any suggestions?

I recently decided to switch to a 2x2 TB SSD RAID drive running in an enclosure off of my Mac mini, replacing an old but not-yet dead NAS.  The NAS did backups and held my music files.  I found such cheap (Intel) SSDs that the whole thing came it at about $200, which is cheaper than a comparable NAS with mechanical drives.  It seemed pretty simple to swap, with OSX Extended (Case sensitive, journaled) format partitions for public files (music), Time Machine, and Misc on each of the two RAID drives.  Time Machine loves it, and I can read and write to the other partitions as normal.  Sonos, not so much.  When I specify the path to my music, e.g., /Volumes/Pubic RAID/Shared Music/iTunes, I get maybe 10 seconds of indexing (lots of music, so it should take a long time even off of a fast SSD) and then no music in either the Mac or iPhone app.  If I do the same process off of my base HD, which is a tiny SSD that is APFS formatted, it works (for the 10 or 20 tracks I have there).I’d deeply ap

I have 2 music sources I want to remove, but there is not option to remove. One source is from my NAS, and another from a PC. Both disply on the windows desktop app as well as the mobile app, but neither show up on ´manage library settings´ on desktop, or ´services and voice´on andriod app.How can they be deleted?

Hello, suddenly all music services disappeared from the app and when trying to add new ones, the page is completely blank. I'll add screenshots on this.The system and all products have been reset, updated and tried to logout/login of the account. The app works on our other systems but not this one. 

Every update is torture.   Sonos seems like a pretty with it company so why is the update process so difficult?

Ok so i have a commercial gym and i have SONOS for the music.I have had it for some time and it works good, i have it set to wake up at 03:55 in the morning right before the gym opens up.The gym is open from 04.00 in the morning until Midnight.But what i would like to do is at 00:05 is to start a new playlist with Alarm Sounds because i have some member that stay behind closing hours sometimes.I want this playlist to just play for maybe 10min and then stop. How do i set this up?Regular music start at 03:55 in the morning and stop playing 23:59 when the gym closes Start a new playlist at 00:05 (after midnight) where i have Alarm sounds :) that plays for just 10min and then stops and nothing else plays until 03:55 when the regular music starts againI have been looking around but i am not confident to set it up correct and i dont want alarm sounds to be on from 00:05 and all night :) haha

Is there a way to play music stored on a portable hard drive ?I tried plugging the drive to my asus router but it doesn't pick it up.Ta.

This morning I woke up to a laser surgery commercial, followed by music from the non-commercial radio station I had set as my alarm on Sonos (mid-song). The commercial was not from the radio station. Previously the Sonos alarm would go straight to the music I had set as the alarm, and it was great. Now it’s not great at all. It seems Sonos is now inserting commercials. Is there a way to avoid these commercials? 

When playing Spotify to Sonos via Wi-Fi on an Android device, sometimes I need to change the volume of another application (such as the Clock application) using the device's physical buttons so that I can hear an alarm sounding. However, this simultaneously and unwantedly increases the volume of the Sonos speakers. Is there a way to disable controlling the volume of Sonos speakers via the device's physical buttons and limit control of the speakers' volume to the Sonos application only?

Today, when selecting any of my subscribed BBC Sounds podcasts, I get the message that they are no longer available on BBC Sounds. But they are, and I have to play them through the BBC Sounds app on my iPad. Sonos status page says all services are running fine, so no idea what the problem is. All was working well yesterday. Live radio from BBC Sounds is working ok. 🤷🏻‍♂️ Anyone else having this issue today? I’m based in the UK.

At the moment, iTunes is the only app I’ve seen that ignores the first “The” in names of bands and albums. Also, I don’t know if Sonos can be made to read Apple’s sorting tag, or adopt similar, so artists are sorted by the correct letter - Lionel Richie should come under “R”, not “L”.

I am out of patience as far as trying to play My Music from Windows using my Sonos S2 app. So in the meantime I connected an auxiliary cable from my laptop (windows) to Port. I guess I could have connected it to my Play Five instead. When I play the selected album/songs from iTunes (on my laptop) to Sonos speakers my S2 app shows its being played through Airplay. Is this correct? Isn’t it being played through the aux cable from laptop to Sonos? Reason why I’m using aux cable to play my music library is because when I select album/song using my S2 app I get a warning Unable to play ‘………..’ -access to //Mycloud2100/music denied. 

When trying to play any station using BBC Sounds service in Sonos I get the above message since around 10:00 today, has been working fine. I can play station OK using BBC Sounds App on phone, anyone seeing similar? PS - can the mods change subject typo should be BBC Sounds not BBS 😀

Sonos-required update to 15.2 produces “unexpected error” message on Mac. System unusable until update is completed. So I’m trapped. Update on iPhone and iPad to 15.2 worked fine. What gives? 

I’ve never had a problem importing iTunes and its playlists until now.I total, my music library consists of about 61,000 music tracks.I’ve added probably a 1,000 or so tracks recently.I’ve got about 400-500 playlists. Most of them only have 40 to 50 songs on, although the largest is abut 150 songs. In total there are about 12,000 songs incorporated in those playlists.My iTunes management of those playlists places all of the artist specific playlists in an “Artist” subfolder, and all of the themed playlists (like songs about summer, etc) in a “Themed Playlists” subfolder.This has all uploaded to Sonos without any issues- well the occasional fail, but soon sorted and loaded again.Recently, I’ve added about 20 playlists. But I’ve also deleted about 100.Now, when I update the music library, it can’t complete, as it says it doesn’t have enough memory to do it. It loads all of the music but only about 90% of the Artist playlists and none of the Themed playlists. When I run the update to the

A month ago Sonos showed “Search returned no results for ‘rammstain’ in Artists”.It only worked if there was a non-alpha in the artist name, e.g. AC/DC or Oomph!The issue was solved within 2 weeks or so, but it looks like it’s happening again. Or is it just my Sonos? Thanks for checking.

Just discovered that if you put the artist name in quotation marks “ red hot chili peppers” search will work..  you’re welcome!

sonos search via spotify. Using Sonos 1.  No search available for artists or genres via sonos.  Been going on for about a week now.  Trawled the internet and appears there is no fix, Really frstrating, Any help gratefully received,
