I've connected my wifi but it will not connect to TV or iPhone. What am I missing?

I have just had my router replaced. Ending up having to factory reset my pair of Sonos Ones.Now I am trying to add them via the app.  Getting the message that it can’t ad them because they are not connected to my home wifi. How do I add them to my home wi fi?

Whenever I go to register my e. RA 100 the app closes. I have to start over

Recently installed an Arc and Sub in my home. I have had Amazon Unlimited for a few years, but I would like to take advantage of hi-res music with the current setup.  I have tried to play music through the Sonos app, the Amazon music app and by asking my Alexa.   I have never had the HD or Atmos label come up once I start playing the music on my Arc.  For example , I play Steely Dan’s “Time out of Mind” which shows as HD when I play it on my phone.  However, when I cast it to my living room Arc, the HD label goes away.  I have added the Amazon music service to my Sonos, but again, playing this song does not show the HD label.  Not really sure if this label should come up in the Sonos app, or how to check music quality that is playing

!!  Like many others I’ve just updated Sonos only to find I now can’t access my music library from the C drive of my laptop (Windows based).  Sonos - please resolve asap for the thousands of users that will be affected by this error.  How can it be fair for consumers to spend hundreds of £s for speakers only to find they can’t play their favorite music on them?! !!

Brand new Era 300, will play music via Alexa, will play music when linked with another speaker already playing, won’t continue playing when said other speaker is removed and will not respond at all via the Sonos app, it will cycle through all the songs on an album but never start playing them. I’ve unplugged, turned off the wifi, moved closer to the router. I’m stumped. Any help would be welcomed. Thx. 

I just reinstalled Sonos Controller S2 on my Android cell phone using apkmirror.com It looks OK. All of my playlists, NAS access, radio stations appear to be intact.I used version Sonos 16.1 (arm64-v8a) (nodpi) (Android 8.0+) from March12, 2024

with the new update radionet does not work anymore and also the rai play sound option in the available services has disappeared. How do I get my radio rai now?s

I deleted the new app in order to try sideloading the old app (for reasons which are obvious).  That did not work. I decided to redownload the new app and just cope. The new app wil now not find my system. Is a factory reset of all my speakers going to be necessary. Thank youHenry ps The CEO coming out to say the new app has lower latency "according to internal data"... that has got to be total bs. Hello, I’m probably one of those who mostly haven’t been badly affected by the new app. Either this is because all my speakers are compliant with the S2 platform. However, - issuesIs the volume level indicator coming back at some point ? Why is my Ipad Pro 1st generation having great difficulty in getting my app info populated  quickly. ? Sometimes , it just seems to be “processing” with a blank screen.  I then close the app and try again.  Normally the 2nd or 3rd time it slowly populates the screen . Didn’t have this problem with the previous version of the app.  Re above, it’s a bit faster populating  on my Iphone 12 Pro Max.. I have access points all on Wifi 6e..

Since the new Sonos app update, I noticed that the TruePlay functionality is no longer available for my devices. Normal or am I looking in the wrong place? The interface has changed a lot, and I think I'm in the right place....

When using Jazzgroove.org after pausing it overnight, I have to select a different station of the five available on jazzgroove, play it for a few seconds, then select the station I want.With the new app, I can no longer select from the “Recently Played” stations which show up when I open the Sonos app from an iPad. All I get is a a greyed-out screen with the message “Something has gone wrong …!”I have to open the Jazzgroove.org service and select from the available stations, which simply adds to the number of steps required to get 5he service going each day.

Why can't I play music folders from my NAS as I have for years? The new App allows me to play one song at a time!I have a Western Digital MyClouldMirror and a Synology NAS DS224.I cannot connect PLEX to Sonos.WTF???

Does anyone know how to stop the Sonos app on my PC asking me to check and install software updates. On the Sonos program on the PC under there are four major heading - File, Edit, Manage and Help  (ie. nothing called settings). Under the Manage heading one of the two items I can click on is “check for updates” to which I’m responding Not know - which the application is ignoring. I’ve also tried turning off automatic updates from the Microsoft store but that doesn’t work either.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.   I’m trying to avoid having to update the app on the PC since I know I will lose access to my NAS.  I made the mistake of updating the App on my phone with the latest May 7 update and as a result have lost access to the NAS on my phone. 

I use a music streaming service called YouSee Musik. After updating the app, I can’t play a large part of the music catalogue. Many numbers and albums just fail.  Furthermore, if I use the search function anywhere in the app, it simply fails and says “something went wrong”.  My system is basically useless without proper access to my streaming service and without an option to search for music, so I’m extremely unhappy about the “update”. I hope someone can advise me how to make the app functioning again. 

HiThe new app’s icons are so large and not user friendly. Just comparing with the old app:The join and stop/pause buttons so large in the new app. It makes it virtually impossible to display a whole track name longer than 10 characters. I think these icons could be made smaller and rearranged to reduce the height of the card for each room. I’m not sure I need full volume sliders to control volume for a room I’m not in. Surely this could be replaced with a volume button which pops out a slider or something? Or users could change the selected room if they want to change the volume there.  The “Pause All” button has been removed. Can we get this added back please? The Alarms button has moved to settings and is requires navigating through about 2 menu options before reaching it. Could we move it back to the “Rooms” page please? I’m not sure why Alarms has been placed in Settings in the first place,

Hi i have Sonos 100, Sonos 300 and Sonos amp all connected to the same network (WiFi) but i cannot stream music thru AirPlay as it asks a the “AirPlay Code” - Enter the on-screen code for “name of the speaker”.My question is what on-screen? I’m streaming from my phone. I’ve reviewed other posts and says to uncheck the require password from AirPlay settings, but from which settings?

It’s been confirmed by Sonos that “local Music Library is not going anywhere, though SMBv1 support has been permanently removed. Local Music Library searching is something that is still being worked on”.And on the roadmap that’s been shared, it states “Local music library search and playback: mid-June”.Now that SMBv1 has been disabled for music libraries, can we have confidence that the issues with SMBv2/v3 indexing will be resolved when the update does arrive?I have just tried adding my music folder which lives on a USB drive in my Asus XT8 mesh router. I have forced the router to use SMBv2 for the drive, and I am still seeing the ‘//path’ is no longer available message when indexing fails after a reasonable amount of time. Chunking my music up into groups of folders occasionally allows me to add a smaller folder, but then I see the error message again. And after that, nothing can be added.I had previously raised this in the post below

In Sonos, the spotify app is using another spotify user within my spotify-family account. Cant seem to change to my user anywhere? The actual spotify app is logged in with my user so that seem right. Any ideas how to solve?

After the last software upgrade :it run normally for a récent sonos move 0n a lan with the library on a usb key attached to router ax55 tplink. but it not possible to update a play list Sonos with the iOS phone !!!it is impossible to run with a old Sonos play 3 connected with the library on a key attached to netgear wndr 4300 !!!why !!

HiMy Sonos system/app isn't working properly. Previous version and latest has the same problem. Dont find a system, doesn't start (freeze) and has a long delay  on volyme and play/pause.Any one who knows what to do? I have a Android xiaomi mi 10 6gb ram. Regards Johan

Since updating automatically to the new sonos app, we've had issues. The app takes ages to establish a connection with the sonos speakers, sometimes it won't allow them to be turned on or off, the volume is all over the place. It's very slow and sometimes non responsive. We've done the full  router and speaker reboot, changed wireless channels and still the same. Hopefully there will be an app update fix soon to rectify the problems created on what was a perfectly good and easy to use sonos app. In this case, unfortunately, trying to improve it has made it into something I dread using. Now considering changing to a new speaker set up, but not sonos......shame, as I did like them pre new app!
