Here, reddit, the appstore are all stuffed with complaints and 1 star reviews, yet Sonos haven't put out any response other than how courageous they are?This CEO needs to walk the plank, if not most of the senior management. It is unacceptable for a company of this size to act in such an inept and contemptuous manner. 

Moved SL One to new location. How do I set this new location up

So I have a play 5 and a Sonos sub woofer and my music is the Sonos Music Library which somehow comes from songs stored in my MacBook Air (2023).  Suddenly I am denied to play my music.  What has Sonos done?  Just out of the blue.   What if I were having to entertain using my device.  So I call Sonos support (1 hour wait) and a polite tech does what he believes will fix the problem.  I feel relieved.  Music indexing complete - music denied.  Second call (almost 1.5 hours).  He reads the ticket info and tries to resolve.  Finally he says something about Sonos is not supported by SMB1 (which I guess is a language or something in my MacBook Air.   Sonos drops it because it’s unsecured.  You now need version 2 or 3.  Sonos can do this with Windows and help those customers - Apple customers - sorry - too bad so sad.   I phone Apple - what we don’t look after 3rd party technology.  Two big companies with lots of income and no help - they simply abandon you.   I try a third route.  Geek Sq

There are 1000s of negative posts covering the introduction of the new S2 app on 7 May.  Many report significant problems and issues following the upgrade.  Many are expressed in angry tones.  Many simply express disbelief over the changes.  Many request help, but seldom receive a response. Many threaten to abandon their existing devices, others have already done so. I believe the main reason for this unprecedented negative response lies mainly in the fact that official responses to these posts can probably be counted on the fingers of 2 hands, if that.All this was compounded by company statements that there were no problems being experienced by users and the march to a brighter future would continue unabated. It’s now been 2 weeks since i contacted customer support about the new IOS version of the app. That took 2 hours and was not resolved. The app does not allow me to connect to my streaming service and does not have my saved playlists. Since then, no word of an update. I have been forced into using the web version on my laptop since, which is slow and lacks the features and functions that i’m used to. Today even that has stopped working. And all the while i still receive emails from sonos shouting about their new products and deals. I bought a play 5 about 2 years before they decided it was obsolete and i couldn’t use it alongside my play 1s so basically turning it into a very expensive brick. Now i seem to be stuck with several more bricks. There isn’t a product they could offer that would make me by anything else from them. Good luck to all the poor sods who haven’t yet had the pleasure of having to deal with a company that cares nothing about customers.

Like others here, I am having loads of issues with the new app. I expect I may get used to it in time, but has anyone worked out a way to add tracks to Spotify/Deezer playlists with the new app? At present I can only see an option to “Save to Sonos Favorites”.  

I have two stores and rockbot can't be loaded in Sonos at either. I've done everything in my power to troubleshoot this, including removing services in Sonos, disconnecting in Rockbot, app uninstall reinstall. Been days. Has anybody else had this issue? Of course I can't get through to Sonos support since their last update.

Hi, My Sonos S2 desktop controller (Windows PC) is not opening up. It comes up with check for updates, click on it and it says you are up to date and won't go any further. I have deleted the controller and reinstalled but still the same….?Anything else I can do…?

In the former version of Sonos there were a running ticker when I played Radio Swiss Classic, that indicated the title of the music played.will this feature come later

Why does the new Sonos app keep randomly disconnecting and also why is it very glitchy and erratic, especially when using BBC sounds.  The old app worked ok but the new one seems to have issues. Are these being worked on and fixed?  It is making my Sonos not easy to use any more

Since the update everything is a MESS.  I have a lot of money invested in this system that, aside from minor annoyances, was working TREMENDOUSLY years. Since that fateful day  a couple of weeks ago, it’s been an nightmare on every level.  If it was just a clunky app, I could handle it; but, it’s actually made the entire system nearly unusable. WHEN WILL THIS ALL BE STRAIGHTENED OUT?

Can I uninstall the new Sonos app and reinstall the old one.  I do not like the new one. 

Wanted to download the Windows pc app to my notebook today since the phone and tablet version are so horrendous now Its gone!!  Only a web version which is not only the wrong way to do it its also missing the key functionality If sonos were trying to make me hate them and become an ex sonos user they couldn't have gone about it more efficiently

I am now looking to add a music service to the connected speakers.My profile’s  country in address section is set to South Korea, and South Korea is included in Sonos's YouTube Music availability list(YouTube Music on Sonos | Sonos). However, YouTube Music does not appear in my list of services. It has been over 48 hours since I changed the country, but YouTube Music still does not appear.I use an iPad, iPhone, Android phone, MacBook, and Windows PC, but YouTube Music does not appear in the list on any app or program.Even after contacting customer support through chat, they only advised me to power off both speakers, wait for 10 seconds, and then reboot them, without offer

Have had an issue with Sonos unexpected stopping in one or more speakers. recently stopped playing all together in speaker One(gen2). reinstalled the ap, which need an update. it will not allow me to click the install update bar. running diagnostic for about 4 hours. still hasn't stopped sending diagnostic.

I’ve been a LOYAL customer for years with Sonos and own 14 sonos products. I just can’t run my head passed the fact you have made such a complete app overhaul without giving people a heads up this was happening. It was quite the shock when I did the update to see the complete change of the UX design and I feel totally betrayed by the company for it (it’s like you came into my living room and took away my freedom of choice).I have invested so much money into having an easy to use system with no over the top app interface - it was what made you classy, modern and minimalistic. You have gone way to far the opposite way to mainstream - there is no difference between other apple app interfaces to yours… you can’t actually distinguish when you are in your app or the apple setting menu. From a designers point of view, this is a very bad thing.To gain the trust back of your customers, please make the previous S2 app available on the apple store (the new update as S3) and let y

I am trying to update my Sonos app on my Mac and getting the message: “An unexpected error occurred. Please try again”

During set up, my app recognizes my new Port, ask’s do you want to add, proceeding to add, it say  “We couldn't find any Sonos products on your mobile device's network so we can't set up your Port. Please tryit again”   I tried all of the guidance given, even connecting to the network with a Ethernet cable…still no luck!  80 min wait for phone support????  Help??

I just update my system to 16.2 using the new Sonos app. The update appeared to run smoothly with no glitches. After running update I checked the About in my system and it showed my Arc, all 4 of my Play1s, my two Play5s, and my Sub were on 16.2, but my two ERA300s (used as rear surrounds) still showed 16.1. I had the Sonos app check for updates and it stated my system was up to date. Anybody else had there ERA300s not update to 16.2?

Someone at Sonos redefined “TuneIn” to some commercial service, which I’ll never use.   I’m not seeing the list of channels I have configured in the older version of “TuneIn” on iOS, only on MacOS which is still running the older controller (Sonos hasn’t updated it).Now, is there some mystery behind this -- as I have *many* channels (URLs) that I listen to that are not in the list of companies/services that you can ( + ) Add.   The iOS app does show what is currently playing and I can stop the music, control volume.  But the iOS app still doesn’t see the speakers, which I assume is yet *another* bug they introduced.Anyone know about this, with the old-form of TuneIn and streaming URLs?I can’t even browse my iOS Music with the Sonos App.

Updated to the latest Sonos app (Sonos OS=S2, Build=80.00.08). Tapped Soundtrack Player icon under “Your Services” on new home page. Soundtrack Player page attempts to load but fails. Displays “Something went wrong. Try again.” error message at the top of page.  Soundtrack Player content displayed and worked correctly for over a year prior to this upgrade. So this is not a new setup issue… something just stopped working. Things I’ve already tried:Verified the Soundtrack Player service was working as expected as per the https://status.sonos.com/ page. Closed and reopened the Sonos app.  Reauthorized the Soundtrack Player service. Deleted and complete
