I updated the app and my system is now not recognizable and my speakers cannot be added… how can this be possible. Seems like we all are having the same problem and no fixes???
I am having the EXACT same issue! Installed the new app and now the app can’t find my speakers. I called Sonos, and spent over 1 hour on the phone with some guy who can hardly speak English. He knew from the beginning of our conversation that I was having the same issue as thousands of other people, but he still made me jump through all of the hoops, of course to NO avail. The end result was, there is nothing they can do right now to fix this, but they are working on a solution. I asked for a time frame on fixing this problem, but of course they don’t know. I then asked him why Sonos would roll out a new app and not check FIRST to make sure that it WORKED!! Of course, no answer to that question either. I then told him, that my system that I have invested $3,000 in, is now USELESS to me because I can no longer change,adjust, or use my phone for any of the settings that it is intended to be used for. I am seeing RED, I am so mad and irritated. Sonos sent out a survey about my phone experience, and I BLASTED them, and gave them nothing but LOW ratings. If anyone has any other suggestions please let us know, as this is BEYOND frustrating. I should have stayed with Bose!!
