Controllers and Music services

After updating to the new Sonos app on Android (replacing the Sonos S2 App), I noticed that several of my Sonos Favorites are greyed out and cannot be selected.I suspect that some of them were radio stations from the old TuneIn service - which doesn't appear in the new Sonos app anymore.So, how do I remove those old favorites now?Typically, I'd have to find the item under the specific service and "un-favorite" the item there, correct? (E.g. search for the radio station in the old TuneIn service and deselect it there... But since the service isn't available anymore, I can't.)

Is anyone having issues with playing ANYTHING on any sonos product? Mine won't even play the radio stations today.

How do I go about playing music that I have downloaded on my phone?

After the IT outage yesterday just one of my connected speakers won’t work. I know it’s functional because I re-tuned it and sound was successfully emitting. How do I get my speaker to play again?

Just updated to S2. Now I cannot access my Music Library located on an external HD that is connected to the router via USB anymore. The albums still shown under favorites cannot be found anymore (no longer available) and I can not find the menu for the music library setup anymore to refresh or do anything. Clicking on System Settings and then Manage next to my system name does not bring up the menu point neither in the sub menus. Did Sonos eliminate the possiblity of playing songs from music libraries on external discs or NAS or what am I doing wrong?

I want to downgrade my Sonos system to S1: it simply works better than the ‘improved’ S2 and has features I regularly use that are still absent from S2.All of my devices except an Era 300 are S1 compatible.I started with my Move (v1), performed a factory reset, and tried to use the S1 iOS app (v11.14) to add the Move to an existing S1 system … and get taken to this Sonos web page.Why, Sonos? Just Why?Anyone know any workarounds?  

Hi there! After updating the Sonos app, I have problems to play Spotify lists simultaneously in different speakers (Sonos play 1 and play 3). The app does not allow me grouping different speakers at playing, it says that it is not possible, try later. Is it a common problem? Do you know how to solve it? Hello.I have downloaded the new app, but can't find where speaker balance settings.  This used to to be under the EQ settings, under setting.  There is base, treble, loud but no balance.  Do you know where it is?

Feature request (which was present on previous app) to add a song to a Deezer playlist from the Sonos app.Also to search the Alblum of song that is playing on deezer through the Sonos app.

Why have Sonos removed the sleep timer function in the new App . This makes my speaker useless to me.    Waiting for a response from Sonos but if nothing forthcoming I will have to ditch it and change brands as I use it all the time.  if you’re having the same issues please email Sonos as well, the more that do should hopefully make them take some action !! 

Since I reinstalled the Sonos app, it takes 40 seconds to launch every time. That is ridiculous and makes the system useless. How will you solve this? I see same topics here of years ago of people who have the same issue. I invested a lot in Sonos products but this way I dont want to use it any longer. My network, router etc are all fine. It all worked fine untill I installed your new version. Same happened to other people I know who use Sonos. 

This has happened a few times.  I go to tap the STOP button on the app and the music does not stop.  I even turn my phone off and turn it back on, music still plays.  Today I left the house for 4 hours, came home, and the music was STILL playing. The last time, I unplugged my wifi and power, and that also did not work.  Also unplugged the speakers, didn’t work.  This is super annoying.  Has anyone else had this issue?  I am using the Arc and the Five speakers.  

I held off moving from the S1 (old) app for as long as I could. I had a Connect, Bridge, Play 3, and 3x Play1s. I got an AMP to replace the Connect+Bridge and understood from my research on Sonos.com that the 2013 Play3 and 2017 Play1s would come across to the new (S2) Sonos app fine. Got the AMP, upgraded the app from S1 to S2, got the AMP connected. Then the trouble started. The Play1s and the Play3s would NOT move over to the new app. I’ve literally spent 6 hours doing the connect / upgrade cycle for the Play1s. The Play3 (for better or worse) fails faster - it won’t play the connect sounds, the app won’t recognize button pushes, so I can’t even get to the upgrade part of the cycle. Sonos chat has been not helpful, despite a chat of 2 hours. They told me to call Support. I called - 60+minute wait time.Sonos chat could not even have Sonos call me - said their systems aren’t connected. I am insanely frustrated at this point - anyone have an

This is a measure of the quality of the signal strength between the product and router and is expressed in decibels. A higher value represents a stronger signal. As a general guideline, a SNR of 45 dB and above is considered excellent, while a SNR of 25 dB or below is considered weak.How to you observe or manage SNR on new app?Instructions please. 

 Setup: 1 Beam connected to TV via HDMI, and 4-ONE-SL’s.Issue: I have an alarm setup to start at 10:00 AM for 11 hours, and my timezone is set properly to Central US. Frustrated with the new app.  It looks great, but is functionally more confusing.  Can we revert to the old app?  Can we keep the old app instead?  Anyone know?

anyone any idea when local music library search and play update is happening, mine disappeared after THE UPDATE …… I know Sonos said June but was postponed until mid June ?still getting the error 913 like most peopleany advice would be handy,i use Mac and don't have NAS DRIVEALL MUSIC STORED ON MY MACAny help would be appreciated

The Sonos app has stopped updating my Apple Music library for some reason, and I can’t get any new music or playlists to show up in the app.  Everything is updating across all of my iCloud devices as usual, so this doesn’t seem to be an apple problem.  I’ve tried updating the Sonos Library via the Mac app (surprised to see that’s returned from the dead), and I’ve tried reauthorizing my account.  Neither works.The interesting thing is that if I delete a playlist, then that no longer shows up in Sonos, so obviously the app is checking in with apple and my account - it’s just not recognizing anything new.I first noticed this problem a week ago, but overnight it resolved itself.  This time it’s been four days since the app stopped updating.  Any ideas?  Thanks.

Sonos was a trusted brand. Management needs to acknowledge the issues in the recent app update and publish a roadmap and timeline to fix them, and soon. The May 2024 update makes our speakers and entire system completely useless. As an exhausted mom who can’t replay “Old MacDonald ” for the 10x for her demanding toddler due to Sonos’ HORRIBLE app update bugging out the entire system - PLEASE FIX THE APP. I’m exhausted and it’s 92% Sonos’ fault. 

This new app is downright terrible. You can't access any of the playlists you have created, edited, and played the last couple of years. You get constant error messages, and no reason as to why. Then when you do get access to a playlist whether it be through your Apple or Spotify account it stops playing a song abruptly 45 seconds or a minute and a half through skipping to another song that isn't even next up in the playlist shown even in shuffle as it used to show you in the former application. I have heard one full song in the past 2 hrs. Then when you get into a playlist either way you can even scroll.the playlist you have to wait a couple seconds to load 10-15 titles and do that again to scroll down the list unlike the previous app where it was fluid and you scroll the entire lists seamlessly. Revert back to the old application and do us a favor. Allow us to have back the control we had before. Newer isn't always better. Fix all the issues because the brand name is definitely ta

“We can’t find a Sonos system on <my network>. Make sure your Sonos system is powered on and connected” All that’s changed is I was forced to update the iOS app to this (garbage) version. Now I can’t even connect to my system. Sonos please revert to the old app or at least tell me how I can connect to my existing system before my thousands of dollars of equipment is trashed

It's now June 27 . Where is the local library search update that was promised for MID JUNE  ??????????????????????????????????????? THIS IS STARTING TO GET RIDICULOUS 

I have installed the new Sonos app and when I try to use the Sonos radio service I am asked to re-authorize the Sonos radio account to access the service. When I try to re-authorize the account, nothing happens except that I am asked again and again to re-authorize the account without being able to access the service. I have tried to log out of the Sonos account and reinstalled the Sonos app to no avail. Can anybody help me?

S2 app on PC updated my system and now my app on android will not update. Is stuck on search for updates. I hit that then says done I hit that then it goes back to search for updates. 

The moment I open the app on my android (Google Pixel 6 Pro), it crashes and closes. What is the solution?  Previously, it would only successfully connect to my system 50% of the time.  Call wait time is 95 minutes and chat is not available!This app is supposed to be getting better!!!
