Hi, I have changed network router and trying hard to update my system (two era 300 and one ikea ) I want to reach system settings in Sonos app. When pressing “Go to System settings” nothing happens. So I am stuck. Anyone who understands what this can be? thanks, Lena

I don’t want to turn my TV on to play music.I thought Sonos was the holy grail - the fancy sound bar that would work with my TV and also be available for Airplay.The sound for TV is good. Don’t need subtitles nearly as much. The bass is sufficient for most things. The spacial quality and clarity do not disappoint. I’ve seen the other posts about airplay problems, and yes, if I reboot everything in the right sequence, remove and re-add the device, poke a doll with pins then my beam shows back up. I don’t have to turn on my TV to listen to music.Just not exactly the “effortless” experience I was advertised.I have other devices on the same WiFi, some LG, others Apple, others open source stuff running on a raspberry pi, and they all show up as Airplay targets. Which makes me think it’s not a general problem with my wifi configuration. It’s most likely a software bug on the Beam. 😞

I’ve been able to add my music library to my Windows 10 Desktop using the NAS device option.  I have a Windows 10 Laptop I use for a different Sonos system in a different location. I have the music library physically on both devices, with the folder sharing settings the same. When I try to add the music library to the laptop system I get the “Folder access denied” message.  When I transferred the music library to a flash drive I was able to add it to the Laptop system without a problem.  Any ideas why? Don’t want to have to leave a flash drive connected all the time.

I have been on the phone to sonos now for 1 hour 15 minutes and they told me the wait maybe 50 minutes. Since their new app etc my set up is not working. I have sonos playbar, sonos sub and 2 sonos 1’s. They worked perfectly fine and now do not want to connect. It connects the sonos play bar and then says it may not show up and restart but no luck. I connected it with network cable and it worked but the sub etc won’t connect. I honestly don’t know what to do anymore.

Sonos App issue With the updated app—Cannot get past the terms of Use, license and Warranty page so that I can use the app. The “Accept” button is grayed out although I have selected my country.Any recommendations on how to resolve?

I can't open system settings!!! So I can't connect to the new WiFi

I was finally able to listen to Eno’s excellent The Lighthouse station over the weekend, but after playing something else I cannot reconnect to it. It repeatedly spins and gives a “unable to play the selected item” error.I’ve tried removing it from favorites, browsing through the Sonos Radio listings, using desktop and mobile apps, and even signing up for a free trial of Sonos Radio HD. Nothing works. Other Sonos Radio stations play just fine. My day is all meetings all the time so waiting on hold for an hour to talk to someone won’t work. 

Downloaded the latest version of the app (80.03.07). Using it on iPad. It won’t let me sign in. I try multiple times and it looks like it’s signed in, it shows my account up the top of the ‘account area’ but all other features such as ‘recently played’ tell me to sign in. I have signed out and back in multiple times. I can’t even change EQ settings for my products unless I’m signed in!! What the hell!? If there’s a sign in issue I can’t even control my own products I have paid $1000’s for? Absolute joke. I’ve turned Bluetooth on etc etc. everything is setup fine with relevant permissions. I am on the verge of selling all my Sonos products and going elsewhere because it has been years of technical glitches and issues. The Sonos sound is amazing but your apps and technical glitches are constantly letting the products down. Please fix. Also, while you’re at it, get rid of the annoying Bluetooth pop up when I start the app. I don’t always have Bluetooth on and use my system via wifi. I

This morning my app won’t let me sign in.  If I fill in my details on the sign in page it simply takes me back to sign I. Page.  It’s as if it doesn’t recognize the sign in.  Won’t let me access my services either - Apple Music.  Help please.  this new app is truly awful!!  I’ve had nothing but trouble since the “upgrade”  

Hallo, ich habe meine S2 App für Updates gesperrt. Die neue App ist eher schlecht, was man so liest. Jetzt wurde meine S2 App gesperrt, also alle Funktionen deaktiviert. Ich muss ein Update machen um wieder irgendwas machen zu können. Lautsprecher und App wurden von mir nicht upgedatet. Finde es schon übel von außen meine app zu sperren. Sowas hatte ich noch nie. Ich kann mit der App jetzt rein garnichts mehr machen. So langsam frage ich mich, ob sonos noch ganz klar im Kopf ist, sry, aber das geht echt zu weit. Geht es noch jemandem so? I authorize my Storytel account and it says "successful" or something in the browser, "go back to your Sonos app". There it says "Something went wrong, try again" but no matter how many times I try, I can't get it to work even though Storytel obviously authorized it. It worked before.I'm really disappointed in, an tired of, everything that doesn't work in this app. 

I have been using Sonos app for two years without any issues in accessing my music services while connected to my Sonos Move. However, soon as i updated to the new App i lost ability to play Anghami service. I keep getting “something went wrong. Try again.” I tried everything to troubleshoot (downloading Sonos App to another device, deleting it, deleting Anghami service and re-authorizing it, and connecting to another network), but nothing worked. I still can’t use the Anghami app in Sonos App. Its bizarre because other services work just fine (youtube…) but not Anghami which is the only reason why i have been using Sonos App in the first place. Welcome any advice to resolve this issue.

In BBC Sounds using new Sonos app, the list of subscribed programmes is truncated and I can't see all of my programmes. This is annoying as one of the programmes I access frequently is not showing. Please advise. Chris

Hi there, we have one Sonos system in our house but two of us want access on our individual phones. I have logged in on both phones with the same profile but I can’t seem to connect the second phone to the system. Is it possible to have two different phones running the same system in one household? 

I'm the proud owner of a system consisting of 2 venerable play: 1 and a move 2.We moved into a renovated but bicentennial house (thick walls, lots of wood) more or less at the same time as the upgrade. The network isn't great in the most remote areas of the house, but no problems with other devices and computers.Since then, use has been calamitous...it frequently happens that while the system is running, the application reports that no playback is in progress (on one or more devices)basic commands (volume, skip, play) are rarely executed the first time.Do you think these problems are due to a faulty network (easily solved with wifi mesh) or are you experiencing the same problems at the moment?Thanks :-)  

I am unable to add an existing system to the new Sonos app. Unable to activate accept.  Very frustrating 

I updated my primary speaker in my Living Room (main level) to the Five from the former Play 5. But still have two older Play 1 components on my second level. I also have 2 Roams in the grouping for music everywhere in my home and the mobile option. Major issues with the new app. I am considering replacing the older Play 1 speakers as this seems to be the incompatibility with the new app with my speaker groupings. Will the Era 100s work as the solution to get back to proper functionality for multilevel pairing with the new app? 

We have a full Sonos set up in our primary residence with multiple “older” Sonos devices.Sonos Play 1 Sonos Sound Bar Sonos connect amp for outdoor speakersWe are able to connect multiple iPhones from every member of the family so anyone can control the system while connected to WiFi. Works great.In our vacation house we just installed a new Sonos Beam Gen 2. Either my wife can connect her iPhone to the system or I can connect but not both. We are all on the same WiFi network as the Beam. When she connects it kicks me off. When I connect then she gets kicked off. Is anyone else experiencing this problem?

I see a lot of posts about the Sonos app missing features (compared to older versions), and some posts about App responsiveness, and general malfunction.  Here’s my experience on Android (this all used to work great before the update to the newer app earlier this year, I keep thinking it’s going to improve if I wait.)When I open the app it normally takes 5 to 30 seconds for the app to connect to my system Sometimes the app doesn’t connect to my systems at all (restarting might help) Sometimes the app only partially connects to my system (I can see streaming services, but can’t press any function buttons like play) When the app does finally connect, it is slow/sluggish Volume changes are slow or don’t respond Turning on and off different speakers in my system are slow or do not respond Selecting play for various music are slow or do not respond Changing to different tracks or albums is slow or does not respo

This is perhaps the most pathetic error message from Sonos.  

I’ve had various Sonos devices for 10 years or more and loved them. The new app, though, renders them all useless. I can’t control any of them reliably and I struggle to find my music library. Fortunately, I still have my CDs, a player, amplifier and speakers. Time to get them hooked up again.
