Controllers and Music services

The moment I open the app on my android (Google Pixel 6 Pro), it crashes and closes. What is the solution?  Previously, it would only successfully connect to my system 50% of the time.  Call wait time is 95 minutes and chat is not available!This app is supposed to be getting better!!!

Today I tried:to play some music to my Beam via AirPlay but the operation failed to listen to a Sonos Radio station but the station wouldn’t loadto play some music on my Roam but the app kept saying the roam was powered down to switch on voice enhancer via the app but I can’t find where it is anymoreto activate Sonos voice assistant but the operation failed what the hell is going on ? ?  im sure someone will tell me to power down every component and reboot my router and then power everything back up, and do the same with me phone blah blah  is this what it’s come to? 

Hi everyone, just updated to the new app , I've noticed the Trueplay toggle is now missing, before I updated it was there under settings but now it's gone , I am using an android phone and always had the toggle but unfortunately it's now gone , or is it hidden??? Thanks 

Ever since I updated to the new app it will periodically disconnect from my system and will only reconnect if I reboot my phone. Has anyone else had this issue?

I HAVE WAITED FOR MONTHS TO HAVE THIS UPDATE FIX IMPLEMENTED. I HAVE NO ACCESS TO MY LOCAL LIBRARY. I’VE DONE THE NAS LIBRARY WORK AROUND BUT IT IS NOT PERMANENT (NAS LIBRARY DISAPPEARS FOR NO REASON) AND THERE IS NO INTERPLAY WITH THE IPHONE APP.  THIS FIX WAS PROMISED IN MID-JUNE AND NOW IN MID-JULY….HERE WE ARE AND NOTHING. I’VE SPENT THOUSANDS ON THIS SYSTEM AND HAVE NOT BEEN ABLE TO PLAY MY MUSIC THIS THIS UPDATE DESTROYED MY SYSTEM.  CAN YOU PLEASE ADVIDE OR DIRECT ME TO WHERE I CAN GET AN UPDATE ON THIS PROBLEM. SOMETHING LIKE THIS IS UNHEARD OF, AND QUITE FRANKLY, INEXCUSABLE.  CAN THE OPEN PROGRAM, PRE-PROBLEMATIC UPDATE, BE RETURNED SO I CAN BE OPERABLE AGAIN?    

I have updated to the new app. Like the new layout, but how do I access, set and remove alarms on my system, now? 

Since downloading the new Sonos app, I am unable to play anything from my Apple Music library.  The entire library is visible (artists, albums, songs, playlists, recently added, etc.),but when I select a song, nothing plays.All other streaming service are working fine (SiriusXM, Spotify, etc.)I’ve confirmed there are no local network issues,  I have checked for updates to my Sonos system.  I have logged out of the Sonos app, logged back in.  I have reauthorized Apple Music in my profile.  Still not working. Anyone else experiencing the same issue, or found a solution?This is not the first time I have had issues with Apple Music not playing on my Sonos system.  In the past, the issue just eventually went away well after all troubleshooting.  Thanks.

New sonos port user.  Indexing from my NAS drive (bloth FLAC & MP4 files) mostly works well but sometimes I get multiple entries in the library when there’s just one source album, some of these have no songs in them.  Other times a single album on the drive will produce 2 entries in the library, the songs spit between them. I have an idea! When you open a Queue list that is currently playing why not have the song that’s playing move to the middle of the screen. I always have to start scrolling to find what is playing next and I start another song playing be accident.

We just moved houses and I had some trouble reconnecting my Sonos network. I have 2 Sonos beams in the house. I factory reset both devices and got them connected to our network and updated. Both are working great with my phone. When we log into Sonos on my wife’s phone the system will not show up. Same WiFi, same login, but it will not find the system. What should I do?

iPhone 14 Pro Max running iOS 17.5.1new Sonos app freezes on Sonos logo, crashes and closes after a few seconds.  This happens 80-90% of the times I try to use it.   Once in a while after I close and restart the app it runs after a couple of seconds, but most of the time it freezes or crashes or freezes then crashes.   I know y’all have acknowledged that this new app wasn’t ready for prime time but this is maybe the worst forced update I’ve experienced of any app.   When do you expect to have the app working?

Is anyone having trouble seeing music services on the new app?  I can't authorize Apple Music.  Anyone else having trouble?

I just bought two Era 300 and I successfully connected them to my network through my mobile but they are not showing up in my app. I unplugged them and still nothing and I closed my app and restarted. 

my music library on my Mac is now visible but without my playlists.  Sonos support worked for 2 hours and still no playlist.  I have a level 2 support appt. in 2 weeks.  any ideas?

The new app really sucks…Who invented this user unfriendly interface without possibility to return to the previous version.really, really, really bad!!!!!

Because Sonos has never solved the 913 Error Problem on my Mac, I followed the workaround to make the app think the volume was a networked device. Things were working OK until today when I downloaded the latest update to Sonos. Now when I select Album, Sonos list many copies of each album, BUT all of them are empty and include no songs making albums unplayable.

I’m currently using an iMac with macOS Sonoma 14.4.1 with four Sonos Play 1 speakers using Sonos OS S2 version 16.2. After updating, the path to my Music folder no longer appears in the Sonos Music Library Settings nor am I able to reconnect to the Music folder:When I try the “Advanced” method, I get this - note that the Music Library folder is faded and cannot be selected.After chatting with a Sonos Support Tech they confirmed that the access to the Mac’s Music Library was removed from the app and while Sonos has been made aware of the problem there is no estimated date as to when access will be restored. I now have a nice collection of Sonos paper weights.Any other Mac users find the same thin

Hi everyone!I updated the SONOS App and have been experiencing several peoblems since.I had an alarm clock that started playing music every morning with the old app. Since the update the alarm clock does not work anymore and I cannot find it in the new app anymore.Furthermore, I usually listen to a radio station via Radioplayer, but it does not work. There is always a error message (without saying what error it is).I’d really appreciate your help, especially since I practically do not/cannot use SONOS at the moment.Thank you!

I installed the latest version of the app to my Samsung phone.  Opening the app I am asked to login.  Doing so gets me nowhere. No error messages. Nothing happening just the login screen again.My login works as I could connect here.

I’m having an issue where apps (Apple Music, Spotify, Nugs.net) are asking for reauthorization every time I use the app. 

My Boost based systems have collapsed! Has Sonos abandoned Sonosnet?In an effort to reduce ‘spanning tree protocol’ errors and ‘network latency’ in my clients’ IP networks, I’ve been building Sonos systems via a single wired Sonos device. That is, I plug a Boost (or Connect or Amp) into the Ethernet, then connect all other devices wirelessly to the sonosnet WiFi network created by the first device.This process has allowed me to build robust, reliable Sonos systems (without messing up the existing network) for years. Many of the properties I work on are massive multi acre sites, where to Boost’s range extending features are vital.These reliable networks appear to have collapsed this month. I’m getting calls from clients who can no longer operate their systems.As a dealer/installer I have several Boosts in stock. But I see that they are no longer mentioned on the Sonos website. I’ve just updated to the new Sonos app.  It “lost” access to my Music Library during the Update and no longer gives the option to access it in Manage My system.  What’s going on Guys?  Have you lost the plot?

Where on Earth is SEARCH field on Sonos Controller for Mac version 16.3?!?Where did it go? It was difficult enough to navigate in the darkness and small font, and now not even the Edit menu takes me nowhere with Search, what on Earth happened?On top of making a black-only-background app you take away SEARCH? If Sonos is this unfriendly to the range of normally sighted consumers I can’t imagine how unempathetic they are to the sight-disabled population!Color choices for background, when?  Font size choices for background, when? Bring SEARCH back, or else this becomes a fancier version of ipod shuffle!One can easily tell there are not anthropologists or diverse populations involved in Sonos UI-UX design. Airplay only makes it less competitive, and if that is the case I prefer changing my M.O. and switching to a less expensive speaker ecosystem. Gotta edit title of my savings fund.

I have to manually reconnect my speakers each time I use my Sonos app.  They have power but will not play until I reconnect them. Is there a fix?

So I’ve finally been forced in to updating the app. I’ve always used the alarm feature to wake me up with my favourite radio station. Anyone know where I can find that feature in the new app?
