Controllers and Music services

I have a group of speakers that clearly is on the network since it is playing my playlist - but it doesnt show up in the app ? It use to be there.Two other speakers are shown correctly in the app.

Music is only playing from recently played. Searching for an artist and selecting an album to play just sits spinning. Apple music is the service I use. Have tried my Pixel 6, iPad air, and iPhone 12. Music plays on all devices directly though Apple music. Playing the album in Apple music then using airplay works for some music, but not others. Ideas? 

Can't use app unless I update… but failed to update for more than 30 times , I have tried to use ipad iphone andriod phone to update my sonos one but never work out. All I got is error 1002,error 30,error 1014 try again . why the heck is the system force to update, pain in the ass.

Since the new App. installed I can't keep the 'Recently Played' or 'Sonos Favourites' content on the home screen. Sometimes the details are shown upon first opening, but disappear within seconds. This is on Android devices, up to date, so it seems to be App related. Any suggestions?

My favorite use for Sonos is the automatic playlist alarms that come on for the morning, dinner time, and various moments throughout our week. I’ve noticed these no longer work. I am getting the gist that this is a bug in the new app. Has anyone found a solution such as rebooting the system or wiping it clean and starting fresh? Thanks!

Has sonos ran an upgradeI cant connect to my system and cant even get past the accept terms page ! Ive tried re boot deleting app re install nothing  help!

I’ve subscribed to Greatest Hits Premium so pay the £3.99 a month to receive it ad-free.  This works fine on our standalone speaker but I can’t seem to get the station in ‘premium ad free’ when connecting through my Sonos. Thoughts, help?

I can’t add songs to the end of the queue anymore (since the update).I’m not sure what is happening, but the very basic “add to queue” functionality no longer appears. Is this intentional? If so, FIX IT IMMEDIATELY!What is wrong with you? Try beta testing things before release them, because this app is total s*** now.

Are there any plans to allow again the ability to add songs to an existing playlist? For example when playing from Apple Music or Tidal via Sonos app, I can no longer add to an existing playlist to either music service. If this does not come back, I have pretty much no reason to use the app any longer. Please update!

Sonos.. Sonos.. Sonos.. Honestly the service you provide is awful at the moment (the app).Since the recent update nothing works properly.(I play music through Amazon on my sonus)-extremely laggy (more than before the update), just bad!- playing music sometimes just won't work ("something went wrong") 😠- and the thing I find most annoying, is that I can't play a playlist, I have to now (not even clicking on a song works, have to "replace que") play one song, then select another, and so on. When I use the app and want to load a music Library from my NAS the page is limited and so it’s not possible to see al the songs in the Library.its limited by 100 numbers. Is it possible to expand this to unlimited.?

We are listening to sonos radio hit list and main stream. We noticed that there is a commercial. Why is there a commercial? Sonos radio stations should be commercial free!

I have a Sonos Era 300. Sometimes the volume will increase at the end of the song, but it's random. I have toggled "loudness" both on and off. The music is playing from Amazon. It's not every song and the volume increase varies in loudness. Does anyone have any idea what the issue might be? 

I’m having issues getting Airplay 2 audio to work with my stereo paired Sonos One speakers. YouTube works reliably, but other apps do not work even after setting the Audio Format option to Change Format On and New Format “Stereo”. I’ve also tried the 5.1 setting but get the same behavior. Weirdly, I’m able to get the speakers working if I wear my AirPods Pro, connect them to the Apple TV, and then change the audio to the Sonos speakers. (To confirm I left the room with the AirPods in to avoid a perception issue). In this situation, I hear the Apple TV navigation sounds in my AirPods, but the content audio on the speakers. Looking for help on additional troubleshooting steps to try. The Apple TV is on the same WiFi as the speakers, I’ve tried this with the speakers paired and unpaired. Thanks!

What can I do to get the app to recognise my play 1 again after the rubbish app update.Also I can no longer use my sonos over a wifi connection Any help greatly appreciated 

So here's my situation, I've had a Sonos 3 working for years. I just had to update the Sonos app and now the app cannot find the Sonos. But if I press play on the Sonos it's playing music. I have removed the Sonos app from my phone and reinstalled it. No change

I’ve downloaded the new app, but can’t find true play to to my system. System is a pair of One SL. Using iphone with iOS 17.5.1 Sonos app version 80.04.04. When I open the app, it asks me to sign in. When I do that, the app tells me to enable cookies. I have contacted support, and was told that this was not expected behavior. Is there something simple that I am missing?

Hello, if I add multiple albums or playlists to the queue, only the first album or playlist will appear in the Recently Played list.  Shouldn’t everything that plays show up in the Recently Played list?  It’s kind of useless if you had 10 albums to the queue and then only the first one shows up as Recently Played.  I could turn off that list, but everytime you do an update to the app, it gets turned back on, and I have to delete the app and reinstall it in order to hide that list again.  If I’m going to start using the Recently Played list, then I would like it to show everything that I listen to, not just random items.Is there a bug list that is being worked on?  Will this be fixed in a future update?I have the latest version installed on my iPhone with the latest version of iOS as well.ThanksK

I’m trying to figure out how I can access MY music that I’ve purchased over the last several years, using the new Sonos app/system. I’m not a big techie guy. But, the new app/system seems to have made it impossible to connect my Sonos system (14 speakers throughout my house) to my music library on my iMac via iTunes. It’s SO frustrating. Can anyone help?

Just upgraded the controller on MacOS today (now version 16.2, S2, 79052294, 135275309)Music Library disappeared and trying to re-add it gives“Unable to add the shared folder “//MACBOOKPROB277/Music” to your Music Library (1002).This is after turning on File Sharing and giving read/write to Everyone, otherwise it would be stuck on “permissions”.   My setup was working perfectly before today without file sharing turned on.

I want to go find a particular artist or album in my library.  There used to be an alphabet directory on the side so I didn’t have to scroll through thousands of albums to find the one I want.  This would seem to be a simple thing to fix and I know it has come up before on this forum but I don’t see it now.  Why can’t you fix this?
