iMac latest software version number

Hi all,

I have updated my iPhone and iPad to the latest version of the Sonos App and on BOTH I have a BLACK icon with SONOS written across it.

On the screens ob both It shows I have version 80.05.05

 

But …..

 

On my iMac I have also installed the latest version from the downloads page on SonoS and even though the website says 80.05 dated 7/22/2024 I can not see that version on my iMac .. It is still showing 16.3

The icon is still the old GOLD icon.

Is this correct ?

 

I seem to be having many problems with my library at the moment after getting the newer versions.

Yes, you are on the latest version. 👍🏻 It’s actually 80.1 for the Mac.

 

 

The latest phone apps are version 16.3.1 but also build 80.05.05…!

I have recently found Sonos to have lost the sense of customer ease in using their products. 

I have even looked at alternatives as I don’t know what to do.

While Sonos prepares further updates, a lot of people have had success using the paid for app Sonophone (and Sonopad for iPad) to control their setup, for now.
