I’ve been using this app for quite some time across several Sonos devices and yesterday the app when opened was empty of content and displaying a message “unable to browse music”. I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it but the problem remains. What is the problem and who owns it - Sonos or radio.net?
I am confused about how to stream audio from my MacBook Pro to my new Sonos Arc.any advice?
Hi I have old Play:5 (Gen 1) and Play:3 speakers and use S1 Controller on a Windows laptop. My Controller suddenly won’t open other than on a page which requires an upgrade to S2 Controller. Unfortunately I clicked on the upgrade button and believe my speakers have now upgraded to OS2 and won’t work. I uninstalled the S2 Controller and reinstalled S1 but no joy. Any ideas? Or is this just a way of making me upgrade to the new generation products?
Amazon Music has the function to “start station” based on a song, artist, or playlist. Is it possible to use this feature on Sonos? I am on Sonos S1. Thanks.
Since upgrading to the S2 controller and (I think) corresponding software in my Sonos system (two Play:1 and one Play:3), the controller keeps losing connection around once per day. The error message is: Unable to connect to Sonos. Learn more. When switching the speakers on manually, they still work and play the last selected station or playlist, so they are still connected to the Wifi. Only the controller seems to get stuck. After switching the router off and on again, everything works fine again.
I know Sonos only pander to us minority users that still play out own collections from NAS or Samba but would it not be possible to continue where the queue left off when changing briefly to a Radio Station? Instead it resets the queue back to the first track every time.
All of a sudden the play button and mix button are not there anymore on play lists selected from recently played. What can I do to fix it?
Think I’ve changed to Sonos 1 app and had to set up again as nothing working .now have nothing to play ! no playlists no radio , no nothing

I’m on S1. I have gen 1 Play 5s. I don’t want to lose them. This morning, the Sonos app on my iphone is prompting me to update with “System Update Available”. Should I accept it? Is it just an update for S1 or do I risk going to S2 and messing everything up?Thanks
I have a Yamaha receiver for my great room surround sound in all speakers. The receiver has a “zone 2” which I will be hooking up a speaker selector to run 3 other sets of speakers around the house. Do I only need a Sonos PORT or can I use a port hooked up to my receiver and speaker selector for speakers on “zone 2”?
every time I search for a radio station and click on “stations” to refine the search, the app crashes. I’ve cleared the cache, I’ve re-installed the app and it hasn’t resolved it.I’m using the S1 app, a Samsung note 10.
Hi all.Just wondering if anyone else has experienced problems having gone from Google play music to You tube premium. Our CR200 worked fine for Google but doesn’t find anything on You tube at all. Our fairly old iPad (version 4 I think) seems to find it without any problems. We are using all old components and control system. So if You tube is no longer an option do you know if Spotify premium still works on the CR200. It’s still by far the most intuitive and user friendly controller available. Thanks.
I have two Connects on the S1 App. I bought a One SL as I was told it could be run on the S1 App also. However, I couldn’t get past the “Press Play/Volume Up button” instruction on the Set Up - as it identified a Play One and not a One SL. I gave up and downloaded the S2 App just for the new One SL. So now I have the S1 App running the two old Connects and the S2 App just for the new One SL. How on earth can I get the One SL onto the S1 App ?
Hello,I have a Fiio X5 iii, how can I listen music from my Fiio player to my Sonos system (Bem + 2 sonos one) ?
Would anyone be able to answer this question about S1 and S2 appsI'm presently using the Sonos S1 app to play music library stored on my Ipad device. The S1 app also allows me to play my music library through a 3rd party app called 'Djay'Using 'Djay' allows me to cross fade tracks and also provideEqualisation on the volume across the entire library. Can you please tell me if the S2 app will also permit this integration with Djay to allow crossfade and volume equalisation.Thank youFrank
Hello,Is it possible to not only show dolby atmos in the app. but also if it is stereo, dolby, dolby 5.1, etc..Further it would be nice it lip-sync could be changed in minus direction, don't know if that is possible? Thanks.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for controlling Sonos without using a smartphone or a tablet? For example using the ‘Google Nest Hub’. I did read you can only do very basic commands and not full functionality like the Sonos App (searching, picking music, etc.).The reason I am asking is we want to give both our kids Sonos speakers as well but find both to young for smartphones or tablets to be in their room as a control device. I can limit internet access for the tablet and use-time, etc.. but it goes beyond that and is quite a uphill battle to get things to work well then. We also tried things like turning an ipad in or requesting use of it it. But that's even more of a hassle and error-proof. They are getting to be inbetween the age they can and cannot handle digital media well and aren’t supervised the entire time. My daughter just wants privacy in her own room, read or play, dance, etc. without a parent being there the entire time. But give them a digital device and you en
Will a Western Digital My Cloud Home work to play my MP3 music, on our Sonos One/SL stereo pair set up which is controlled by a Amazon Alexa Echdot. Looking at maybe at getting a 2tb version. Don’t need it for anything else, at present all my music is on pc, and I use iPlayer to put it on our iPod a touch devices. Is there anything I should know about the WD my cloud, is it easy to set up with a Sonos, bearing in mind my skills are limited with computers. Any other suggestions or help appreciated.
Hi, I removed the Bridge from my Sonos system and it works fine without it. But I hate to just throw electronics in the trash. Could I use the Bridge as a WiFi extender at home? Is there any other use for it? Thanks.
Hi everyone, Please help.I’ve had a gen 1 system for years with no problems, As of 12 months ago it started dropping out when streaming from spotify. I run a bridge hardwired to the router, a gen1 connect hardwired to my amp but wirelessly to the bridge and a connect amp wireless to the bridge. The problem seems more frequent on the connect but does also occasionally happen with the connect amp. So far I’ve upgraded my wifi to super fast fibre, changed channels on every piece of equipment i have, including sonos, It still happens, I then ran it with all other equipment depowered, It still happens . I’ve moved the router next to the connect, I’ve replaced the bridge with a Boost and finally I tried hard wiring the connect to the bridge. It still happens. I have no hair left.I’m about to throw it all in the bin.Is there anything else I could try before I do?
Hi all, Firstly, I’m loving S2. Nice UX generally :) I would like to request moving the "Your Library" section to top of "Spotify" section in "Browse" screen. I believe this will create a more natural user experience for Spotify users looking to access the lists they have created. It is also only a small section of menu headers, so scrolling past it to the Discovery Type headers would be easy for those who simply want to take advantage of Spotify’s Discovery tools. As it stands however, for me to find a list in my library that I haven’t added to “My Sonos” requires me to scroll for ages past all of the discovery headers down to the “Your Library” section. I actually didn’t even know this section existed anymore and only found it by sheer luck. I’ve shown my wife now how to find her lists and she agrees it’s in a difficult to find spot. Thanks for considering! NOTES- Device = Apple iPhone 8+- Device OS = iOS ver 14.2- Sonos app = S2 ver 12.2.1
Fairly simple issue. I’ve seen this happen with other apps but can’t remember which ones. Google Music worked awesome with the Sonos app on my desktop as well as mobile. I’ve migrated everything over to Youtube Music but when I try and connect Sonos with Youtube it says my email and / or password are wrong. The message I get is “The email and password you entered did not match our records. Please try again.” I’m guessing there is a log file that may have an old password in it? I am using the most current SONOS app on a windows machine. Any tips would be appreciated.
This is more me being a bit of a neat-freak, but I have been using Sonos for a pretty long time and where I was able to trade in most of my systems my old Controller 100 keeps being listed as being an part of my current setup. I understand I cannot trade it in probably due to it’s age. But is there a way to get it out of ones system (I cannot fire it up anymore, it truly is dead, not even sure where I stored it). This obviously is something only in my Sonos account on the Sonos website. So it’s like the most minor thing ever. But if I can clean it up :)
Is there a way to turn off a Sonos system remotely when you are out of town? My hubs was partying at our beach house and forgot to turn off the outdoor speakers last night. Neighbors were pissed.
