Diagnostic:1299356868Have multiple Sonos products - 2 Connects, 4 Connect Amps, Play 3 and Five. The Connects and Connect Amps are connected via Ethernet. One of the Connects (Family Room) keeps cutting in and out. It is connected to an AV Receiver for one of our home theaters (BluRay, Apple TV, Sonos). I’ve reset the modem, router and Sonos systems sequentially with no fix, at least not for long. This happens playing any media via Sonos. Other rooms (including a duplicate setup in the basement den) work without issues. This is the only product that seems to have issues.

Hi I have a Sonos s16 amp (2018) squirrel blew transformer (yeah would you believe it) hence power surge poping my amp. traced it back to L1 resistor/ diode on main board. can someone help me with what should I replace it with. Kind Regards Noel
This is really a question for Sonos, but I was wondering if the community had any thoughts on this too. If Sonos is in favour of the ‘Right to repair’ directive coming to the EU (I believe), do they plan to make service manuals available to help users repair their devices (I’m struggling to triage an issue with my Sonos S16 Amp which is out of warranty). Would be great to have a fair chance of fixing it rather than consigning it to landfill…
Hi, I have sonos AMP S16 blow-up IC chip locate on power supply board at U3, please see pictureI can’t read the part number. does anyone know the part number for that chip?Thank you
I have changed Wi-Fi but sonos is saying my bridge is incompatible error 30. Why is this and haw can I sort it out
I’m thinking of adding a Port to my traditional audio system to add my LP’s to Sonos speakers. In the media room with the traditional audio is a pair of ceiling speakers connected to Sonos AMP. my question Is this: if I have sound coming from my traditional 7:1 sound system AND from the Sonos-powered ceiling speakers, will I experience sound sync issues? thanks!
This is a restaurant andI need 2~3 of physical sound source (TV, Jukebox, Music Plyer) and 3 different Zone.I wanna use 3 of PORTs and connect each source to each PORT (rca input) My Qestions are Q1Can I send the sound of source 1(in PORT 1) to other two PORTs?of course, Can I share the sound source 2(in PORT 2) with other PORT1 and PORT3 ? Q2Can we share one sonos account with many person’s phone? Q3. We have old sonos connect. can we use with PORT in the same app and share those sound source each other?
I want to add two outdoor speakers that carry some punch. And I see there are cheaper options than the sonos outdoor speakers. Specifically I was looking at klipsch aw350. Being 350w speakers, is the sonos amp enough to power them properly? Or is there a better speaker for outdoors? I want a lot of sound but I’m not going to drop thousands to do it.
I just setup the Sonos amp and 2 Sonos outdoor speakers.I think I read the amp will power 4 outdoor speakers. Is this true? Can I buy 2 more Sonos outdoor speakers and run them on the same amp?
I have a Port wired to my Yamaha RX-A6A using RCA connections. The sound out of stereo speakers is loud clicking with no music. I have numerous ones, a sub, two Era 300 speakers and two ports streaming music to my porch and garden in my system that work very well. I have just discarded the 7.2 channel system in my living room as the sound is unbearable. It would be nice to be able to play streaming music on Yamaha receiver.
I have a 10 year old system with one ZONEBRIDGE1 and 2 CONNECT:AMP. The two amps controlled all of the wired speakers, one upstairs and one downstairs. They were controlled through a Sonos app on a very old iPad. It looks like my Bridge has died, along with the iPad. I downloaded the Sonos app on my phone, but it can’t find my system. I think I need to replace the bridge, and understand it is outdated. Given that everything is wired, is there a product I can get that would allow me to run the system as is, without having to reinvest in new speakers everywhere?
I have just build a passive house and it is a sealed home with an air handling unit. Each room is sealed with a membrane. How do I fit a ceiling mount Sonos speaker without compromising the sealed ceiling. This is going to be an ongoing issue (certainly in Europe with passive houses) Note: self sealing ceiling downlight housing are already available. Any thoughts as my home is all flush speakers.
Hi, is it possible to have 2 seperate zones with 2 Sonos ceiling speakers per zone, with 1 Sonos amplifier? For example, I want to be able to play music off 2 speakers in one room, while the other 2 speakers are not playing, or playing different music and vise versa. Is this possible off 1 Sonos amp or do I need to buy another amp as well?
Hi. I have the following set up in my living room (part of a larger multiroom sonos system):Sonos Port connected to my 2 active meridian speakers. I simply (!!) want to connect my TV to that set up so I have better sound quality through the Meridians than the TV speakers. I am NOT bothered about surround sound.I did this before in an old house with an old TV which had RCA audio outputs…. plugged those into the port (actually a Connect in those days) and hey presto. However I now have a newer TV which only has an optical digital output. I tried connecting it to a DAC and then old fashioned audio cables into the port. This lead to a MASSIVE audio delay…. completely useless I’m afraid. So anything I can do to get the audio synced apart from by an old TV with RCA audio out??Thanks
From time to time my sonos starts skipping the tracks after playing approx one minute of a track. This loop continues until I power off/on the unit. Then it plays ok a few days and then starts the loop again.Any ideas?
Hi,have a question and I hope that someone has a similar setup and can confirm something for me.I have Beam and two ONEs as surrounds. I also have Audio Technica turntable with built in preamp and BT. Firstly I planned to buy two ERA speakers and connect turntable directly to those ERAs (as line in is off when in surround mode) but I connected turntable through ROAMs BT and then grouped with surround. Sound was beautiful. So now I would like to buy PORT, connect turntable to PORT and set autoplay to BEAM with surround. Would this autoplay feature work or is it, by some strange reason, disabled then?I suppose that regarding TV it either has priority or who ever comes last to BEAM, but that is irrelevant as TV would be of when listening to records. many thnx for help
Got a strange problem. I have 4 Sonos anmps and a bunch of other Sonos speakers and when my kids are playing the Nintendo switch on their Sonos amp their audio will start streaming to all the other Sonos amp and speaker zones. So as an example I can be listening to Spotify through 3 of the Sonos amps and a few other Sonos speakers then randomly my zones will switch to the Nintendo switch and all the zones I’m listening to will play the Nintendo switch audio. It’s getting really annoying. Any ideas how to stop it automaticity switching all other inputs to the switch.
Hi I bought a house with 2 existing in-celling Sonos speakers. I’m also considering buying 2 era 100 and a beam (second generation) for surround sound. It’s two cooper wires coming out of the wall under the TV.would a require an Amp to power and drift all these devices? Or would a port do the job? Would a need booth an amp and port to play them all at the same time?
I just had my outdoor covered patio wired for 4 in ceiling speakers to play sound off of a TV as well as music via a Sonos amp. I was looking at where they dropped the wires to connect to the amp and noticed only 2 sets of wires (black and white). When I went to look at the wiring outside I noticed the speaker closest to the house has a black and white wire while the rest just have a black traveling from the speaker closest to the house. After some googling it I think they wired this in series wiring which is not what I want, rather I want parallel for my use case. I’ll be driving 4 8 Ohm speakers (Polk 90-RT) and fear this is going to result in a loss of sound quality. They are about to close the ceiling tomorrow so I think I need to halt them and have the electrician re-wire the speakers If it’s a parallel run then I should end up with 4 wires not 2?Can someone confirm my suspicion / hunch?
Hi all!Just received a long-coveted Yamaha Enspire piano DU1 ENST. A “real” accousitc piano with digital features and output, among other nice stuff...Have a large Sonos system (Amp + analogic speakers, 3 Play1s, 2 Move-s, 2 Era100s...), as we’re a (boutique) hotel.Just acquired a new Port to plug the piano to the whole system (RCA-RCA).Port functions properly (checked with an iPad through a jack-rca).When connected to the Piano, depending on the piano configs, either nothing happens or sound is VERY degraded (sound level + quality).I suspect I need a preamp.Any tips, given that I do not want to denaturate the Piano's musicality? Many thanks to all for this.
Hello Team! We are letting out aparments on a short term basis. It would be good to have a service for our guests to enable them using our Sonos/Symfonisk system components for a limitied time without having admin right (meaning no access to confirgurations). This way they could link their audio services for a limitied time period which automatically would be deleted after they leaving. Do you have such a service now or plan it? Thanks, Robert
Is it possible to have a single Connect attached to a Yamaha receiver that has two zones of non-Sonos speakers and set each speaker zone up as a distinct room that can be grouped or ungrouped with the Sonos app? We originally setup this configuration about seven years ago and we were able use the Sonos app to group and ungroup the two speaker zones (each with a distinct room name). We had to take the system apart for house repairs and when I put the system together again I can only configure one room per Connect on the receiver. Any ideas how the system might have been originally configured?
Since yesterday (potentially linked to Sonos S2 15.2) the two sliders under “Sub Audio” are borked:When adjusting either “Sub Level” or “Crossover Frequency” the other slider follows and/or both sliders jump around. The issue is there on both iPhone (16.3.1) and iPad (16.4). I’ve tried restarting all components, deleting the app and reinstalling it.
So I understand the Sonos port will allow me to stream music not only thru my sonos speakers but also to my home theater speakers via A/V receiver. Does the port resolve/eliminate connectivity issues? I frequently have to unplug a speaker that’s not responding so that it can reconnect. I do have one speaker that’s hardwired via ethernet to my router but still have connectivity issues...I currently have 12 speakers thru various rooms in my home.
