This is really a question for Sonos, but I was wondering if the community had any thoughts on this too. If Sonos is in favour of the ‘Right to repair’ directive coming to the EU (I believe), do they plan to make service manuals available to help users repair their devices (I’m struggling to triage an issue with my Sonos S16 Amp which is out of warranty). Would be great to have a fair chance of fixing it rather than consigning it to landfill…

SONOS does not publish service manuals. I doubt that they will ever publish manuals for older products. There is a claim that newer models, such as the ERA series, are designed to be serviceable, but we don’t yet know who will do the servicing.

Meantime, I suggest that you search the Internet for user accounts of DIY service. In Europe there are a few 3rd party servicers.
