I recently bought a used Xbox One S.Bought solely to use as a BD player as I know it can transcode DTS to Dolby Digital. So I have set it all up. Xbox is set to output bitstream DD 5.1 and my Sonos AMP is also showing that it is playing DD 5.1. Unfortunately, the sound is out of sync. Everything is in sync when playing in uncompressed stereo and everything is in sync from my other sources (Apple TV). Has anyone tried this? Can’t fix it with my TVs audio delay as that can only add further delay. My tv is an LG GX. I have two Sonos AMPs (one front and one rear) and a Sonos Sub.
1366507793very rarely can I play music through all speakers without one or more speakers constant connecting / disconnecting. It is often also very slow to toggle speakers on : off. One speaker is wired and is driving Sonos net. I’ve tried all channels with no better luck. What can I do? I think a boost would not help much, correct? Should I try to hard wire more? Or disconnect all? Also how does one generate the connectivity matrix so that I can further debug? thanks
What is up with these clowns? It’s been over two months, have not been able to receive a refund for a product I never received. This is after I, the customer, called through to ask about status and get in touch with local delivery carriers. I have a clown named Nicole who’s the “director of sales” “helping” me. I’m so annoyed and frustrated that I’d rather just stick to my native tv speakers.
Hi all, I’m experiencing issues connecting my Audio Technica AT-LPW40WN turntable to era 300 speakers. When I connect the RCA to turntable and 3.5mm jack + line in jack to era 300, nothing shows up in the line in option on the Sonos app. Any suggestions?
Over the last 6 - 9 months we have seen this issue intermittently. From Sonos Controller search for artist on Spotify (has also happened starting music from Spotify app - we have a paid subscription) choose artist select either Artist radio or an album by the artist or top tracks of artistRESULTS: time bar in Sonos Controller shows the song is playing, but no sound is coming out of speakers. About 8 - 15 seconds (as per the time bar) audio comes out of the speakers at that point in the song. To be clear, there is not a delay in the start of the song, the audio starts 8 - 15 seconds into the song. Example, Bob Dylan’s Hurricane start playing audio at the words “Valentine from the upper hall”Captured a recent diagnostic when it was happening - hopefully it shows something - 1020475143 NOTES: When this starts happening, it can go on for days or weeks. That includes total stops in using Sonons, changing to different music sources (TuneIn Radio, Sirius, Amazon Music), alarm starting the Son
Does Sonos in-ceiling speakers support voice casting with Josh.ai? Setting up 9 audio zones and looking to integrate josh.ai as home automation voice assistant.
Here’s the setup: 22 sonos including stereo pairs, couple subs, 1’s, 3’s, 5’s etc. Roughly 3,000 square foot house with Orbi 850 mesh wifi. Sonos running off a gen 2 Boost on sonosnet. Boost is on 2nd floor, center of the house in a loft over top of all the sonos speakers. Other smart home stuff: About 35 Hue lights on hue hub, 50 Lutron switches on Lutron Caseta hub. Recently changed from sonos channel 11 (where all sonos speakers were OFDNI of 9), to sonos channel 1. (Has the best OFDNI numbers)I’m still having trouble with dropouts, especially if I try to change tracks with rooms grouped together. When changing tracks, it goes through about 3 minutes of speakers cutting on and off and then skips to subsequent tracks before It finally settles in.I usually group Kitchen/Fam, Big subwoofer (a connect with 2 large subwoofers attached), Dining room move, Family room (2 play 3’s and a sonos sub) Kitchen, and Living room together. Total of about 8 sonos speakers in continuous 1st floor ro
Can someone help explain why some of my products have a network unavailable and there is no way of adding to them? My wifi has no issues

Hi all - thanks in advance for any help!I have two Sonos Fives in my living room, set up as a stereo pair. They play music wirelessly just fine, working as a stereo pair. The right-hand one also has a line-in connected. It connects to a CD/DVD player (it’s an OPPO BDP-103EU BDP-103EU Blu-ray player, in case that’s relevant). The line-in connects to the back socket of the right-hand Sonos Five, and runs down and splits into the red and white inputs to the player. When I play CDs from the player, the two Sonos Fives work fine as a stereo pair, with both playing fine. But when I play DVDs from the player, the stereo sound does not work: it seems to me that only the left-hand Sonos Five seems to work, and the right-hand one (i.e. the one that receives the line-in) is not playing any sound, so that e.g. some dialogue from the film is not played, or e.g. the instrumental parts of film songs play but not the vocal parts of those songs.Because the line-in seems to work fine when I play CDs via
I have 2 Ubiquiti UniFi Lite WiFi Access Points in my house. The WIFI is excelent, the speed is good (300mega bits), I don’t have Amy issues ro problems Within the WIFI connection with any of my devices (Ihopne, IPad, TV, PC, MAC ect...). I do have a hugge problem with the WIFI and Sonos. I have a AMP, one and Beam. 3 times the sonos support has helped me get the Sonos up and running. But each time after some time (days/weeks) the Sonos app can’t find the speekers/roomes, and I have to start all over last time the Sonos supporter and I had to give up the installation. Sonos support can’t help any more and I’m stuck! My last guess is that it could be a WIFI problem between the accespoints ans Sonos. DO YOU HAVE EXPERIANCE WITH WICH SETTINGS “UniFi Lite Access Point” SHOULD HAVE TO FUNCTION WITH SONOS?
My Sonos has taken to dropping off the system - the useless support page tells me to connect through Ethernet (which is awkward) so I do that, and it recognises the speaker until I stop using Sonos. Next time I open Sonos, the speaker has gone again. Wifi is strong, Playbar and Connect are working. What’s going on?!Also what has happened to Sonos support - used to be able to email them - now it’s just Monday to Friday - not very tech support..
Why do I often get where I am u able to get a hold of someone for the 24/7 support? I'm calling right now and being told by a recording that it is after hours. There is no after hours with 24/7 support. Lol. I'm trying to get a warranty issue started before the item goes out of warranty.
I have seen this question asked several times, but nothing seems to fix my specific issue. I have been using the Sonos Beam with Subwoofer, but I recently decided to add the Sonos Amp to power my two in ceiling rear speakers. I attached the speaker wire to the Sonos AMP and confirmed the TV runs sound through the speakers using an HDMI. I then factory reset all 3 (Beam, Sub and AMP) so that I could add all 3 to the new Sonos 2 App. All were successfully added to the App and are combined in the same room on the App. I have the Amp setup in Home Theater mode in the App. I have an HDMI cable running from the TV (Arc input) to the Beam. The sub is connected via WiFi. Both work just as they did before adding the Amp. I have a CAT5 cable running from the Beam to the Amp. I can’t get sound out of the rear speakers. I feel like I’m really close, just can’t the sound to come out of the speakers. Any ideas on what I missed?
Hey there. i have the latest Sonos App (12.2.4) but everytime I want to add my new Symfonisk to the system the app recognises the new device but tells me that I need to update my app. When I click the link it brings me to the App Store to just open the app because I already have the latest version. Somebody with similar problems ?
Do I need to make changes on my Sony 950g? watching Netflix 4k service Marvels Iron Fist. The movie description says it plays in Atmos, but I’m not seeing it on my Atmos App. Thank you 🙏
I woke up this morning to play some music in my office, and the Port wasn’t responding. In fact, it’s not even present in the app, and upon inspection, the front status light wasn’t on, even though it was connected to power. Changing to a known good power outlet, still nothing. No lights on the front or on the back. Attempted reset by holding down the infinity button and plugging it back in, nothing.Seems it just died on its own for whatever reason? I’d love to contact support but that’s not an option anymore apparently. Device is from February this year.
I have a Playbar with sub and two One SL set up for my home theater. Every few days the right speaker goes missing in the app. I can typically readd it by going through the missing device flow in the app and unplugging it. It’s really a hassle. The Playbar is hardwired with ethernet. I’ve already tried switching between SonosNet and WiFi setup but it makes no difference. Also switched left and right speaker and it’s still getting dropped, so I doubt it’s the speaker hardware. Diagnostics submitted 590785251
my brand new Sonos 1 speaker is vibrating when there is bass. It’s not even at half volume.
I’ve had my Sonos Arc for ~4 weeks and have a recurring problem. About 30% of the time that I turn the ARC with TV as source, the sound on the ARC will go on for about a second, and then off for about 3 seconds. It’s not garbled, it’s just on then off. I’ve never had this happen from another source. If I switch sources - e.g. Pandora or Spotify - the sound is fine. If I switch back to the TV the problem is still there. I can fix this by unplugging either the power or the HDMI into the ARC and then plugging it back in. This fixes the ARC for 1-3 days.
I have a Play:5 that stopped working so I did a factory reset. I can get through the setup process (connecting to Play:5 wifi, finalizing setup). At the end of the process the app says that the speaker was added but may not show up under system. And something like: Unplug speaker and plug back in to finalize setup under system tab. However, unplugging it does nothing and the speaker is still unavailable.
Hi… One room in my system has been acting up recently :(I assume it’s some kind of wireless interference, but I have been unable to pinpoint it myself. How do I open or find an existing support ticket to add more information so I can get help?I was trying to reach out while I have time to get a diag. and the issue is actively going on, but support@sonos.com kicks back an auto-reply and chat support is unavailable.I started a chat the other day and was asked to reset my Office speakers, which helped then, but now I can’t join Office to other rooms. There’s lots of information in that ticket, but I can’t locate it in my account and I never got an email followup. I assume it was closed. Can someone at Sonos please look up this ticket and contact me either here or by email? Here’s another diagnostics: 1202345315Thanks!
I have been on here researching the issue and it seems that there’s no one thing to do except report the issue, then let Sonos read the diagnostics from your unit(s). So, here we go… My Sonos controller keeps telling me that when I’m on SiriusXM and listening to music, about every other song seems to be encoded incorrectly.I’ve reset my wireless (orbi), restarted the Sonos units, plugged one in directly to the interwebs and I’m still getting the issue.
