Hi, is it possible to have 2 seperate zones with 2 Sonos ceiling speakers per zone, with 1 Sonos amplifier? For example, I want to be able to play music off 2 speakers in one room, while the other 2 speakers are not playing, or playing different music and vise versa. Is this possible off 1 Sonos amp or do I need to buy another amp as well?

You’ll need separate AMP’s in order to simultaneously play different content in each area.

Thank you I thought so. What about if I just want to play music in one area, and not the other?

You can use one Amp and a simple speaker switch to control which room/rooms play.
