I just upgraded to S2 and now the sound on my Plabase is very tinny. Even with max bass there is no real depth of sound. Used t be terrific full bodied sound in S1. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Hello!I purchased an LGOLED55CXPUA about a month ago. On set up I was able to configure the magic remote to control my Sonos playbar using the volume using the Device Control settings. The mute button would not work but the + & - for volume did which was all I needed. As of yesterday magic remote no longer controls the volume of the playbar. I saw this topic https://en.community.sonos.com/home-theater-228993/lg-oled55cx-magic-remote-not-working-with-playbar-6843515 which describes my situation perfectly & see that this was resolved with LGs software update (03.10.20). My TV is running 03.11.10When I contacted LG they just sent me a reply telling me about how great LG soundbars are! Points for chutzpah if nothing else…Any help from you good people would be greatly appreciated!
Changed wifi password and now Sonos can’t find our products. We updated to the new password but still no connection. Any help?
I’m a little helpless. Since all this new App S1 and S2. I can not use my speaker anymore and updating of the software isn’t also possible anymore.I do have a Play 5 Gen1 , Play 3 , Play 1 (alexa), Play one How can I get help?
Hi, my device-sonos Play 1 didn't want to turn on recently so i managed to disassemble it. It occured, that the resisor number R524 Has blew up and damaged some componets which were nearby. Could You tell me its' parameters, so i can replace it?
I just noticed that my Sonos system adjusts the volume automatically between loud and quiet songs. I haven’t noticed this before. It is extremely annoying, and especially noticeable when I play an album where the songs run into each other. The system also inserts a little gap between the songs. ALSO extremely annoying. I tried playing the same music files on another player, and there is no difference in the volume and no gap between the songs on that player, so it’s not the files that are ripped that way, it is the Sonos system that plays around with the volume. Like I said, I’ve never noticed it before. What has happened? Where do I turn it off?
I struggle to launch a playlist at once on my system. Currently have 15 SONOS speakers and when I start to play, speakers don’t all start. Have to go on app and click “everywhere” and 1-3 times they start. Also experience same issue when advancing to the next song. I have the SONOS Bridge installed but has not really made any improvement. Look forward to some Advise or suggestions.
Having a problem with two pairs of Sonos Ones -- while listening to music over Airplay using any of my iOS devices, the right speaker in both pairs will intermittently drop out, usually not simultaneously. It only lasts a couple of seconds, but it now happens once every 45 seconds or so and is incredibly annoying. This started happening a few weeks ago, I believe right around the time I updated my devices to iOS 14. I was hoping that the update to iOS 14.1 would help, but it seems to have made the problem significantly worse rather than better, with the interruptions more frequent this AM and lasting longerThinking that perhaps it was something related to iOS, I tested it directly in the Sonos IOS app, using that to play music directly. Here the problem becomes even more severe: on occasion, when one half of the pair stops playing the music, it not only never restarts on that speaker, but the speaker itself drops off the wifi network and doesn’t rejoin unless I power it down and back u
My Spotify app doesn’t allow me to connect to my Sonos system. All I get is the “Connect to a device” screen. My Spotify account is connected to Sonos. My system is connected to the same WiFi as my phone. Any ideas?
I was having some issues with dropped music and speakers so I went into my router to change the channel so it wouldn’t duplicate the Sonos channel.I have Boost wired to the router and Move on the 2.4.Everything seems to be working, but I noticed on my router that Sonos Boost is greyed out (not active). Can anyone explain why the router would think Boost is not active?
I have 9 Sonos speakers (5 Play:1 speakers, 2 Beam speakers (1 with a paired Sub), 1 Playbar (with a paired Sub), 1 Play:5) with a Boost. I have an Orbi mesh WiFi system with 1 router and 3 satellites. WiFi coverage and speeds are not an issue (get anywhere from 200-500Mbps on my other wireless devices). When I have all my speakers playing the same music, speakers will randomly cut in and out, repeatedly. Songs skipping to the next track has happened occasionally in the past, but recently it is happening ALL the time. Neither problem used to be this bad. I have turned my Boost off and back on. I have checked the Sonos app for updates, but the app and the speakers are all up to date.Is anyone else experiencing anything similar or is it just me? Any solutions would be greatly appreciated!
Hi. I have original Sonos 1’s and a 5 speakers. I'm using an iPhone 11 to connect. I’m losing my connection and I’m receiving error messages ie. song is not encoded correctly etc. Anyone else have this issue? Thanks
Hi there, hoping someone can help. My speakers have dropped out half a dozen times today in the middle of playing music - several times, they fell off the app entirely - and my app has also stopped working at times… in the middle of playing music, it told me it couldn’t connect. I couldn’t raise volume or pause via the app but could do it on the speaker, itself. I’ve unplugged the speakers, the router, the problem persists. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks in advance!
Have tried to find solution on Sonos and wider web to no avail.I’m getting a blanket “no selections are available” error for any curated playlists via AM in the Sonos controller apps.the genres (e.g. motivation) appear, but none of the actual playlists within them, see attached.ive submitted diagnostics 204802805 and gone through troubleshoot recommended solutions like remove and re-add service which didn’t work.
Using version S1 it will not work. Followed directions posted here and it still doesn’t work. Also, Sonos is not showing up in Airplay also. Just like white wine the product is getting worse over time not better! Owner it for more than 10 years
Hi Recently changed my router from a Linksys WRT1900ACS running Luci firmware to a TP link Archer AX6000 - my Sonos speakers refuse to connect to the 2.4GHz wifi on the AX6000. Sonos kit: 2x One, 1x One SL, 1 x Play:1, 1x Ikea Symfonisk bookshelf - I’ve upgraded to S2. All my non-Sonos 2.4GHz kit works fine with the new router. I’m running with duplicate SSIDs for 2.4 and 5 GHz I’ve tried with and without smartconnect. I’ve also tried setting up a totally new 2.4 GHz SSID. I’ve tried turning AP isolation on and off (usually off on my non guest networks). Speaker location isn’t an issue here - I’ve been trying the below with the speakers a short distance from the router. Tried the following via the app: Going through the ‘changed router/wifi settings’ journey Wiping the app and factory resetting the speakers. Joining the speakers using the ‘accessory configuration’ process (Apple native) Joining the speakers using the ‘select SSID and type in password’ process Connecting

I have a Sonos system and it worked well before. But it stopped working. I can’t update my system. I can’t update my music library. my music won’t play; and the title of songs mysteriously appears. I tried uninstalling the Sonos system, but that didn’t help. Thanks.
I have recently switched from a Mac to a PC running Windows 10.I was able to successfully transfer all of my music and playlists from my MAC Itunes to the PC Itunes.I installed Sonos and synced it to Itunes. All of my music has synced to Sonos (in Artists, Albums, Genre, etc), but the issue is not a single playlist has synced over.I live and die by these playlists. They are an artistic outlet for me and I spend a lot of time creating them. They are what I listen to 99% of the time. Can you help me get them into Sonos please? I’ve been trying for a week, googling and searching, but nothing has helped. Gene
Tune in is not connecting on Sonos this morning ?? Either is Spotify
I have a weird problem:My Sonos One will only play Amazon Music, Spotify and radio if it’s grouped with another player. If I try to play any of these streams only on the One it errors with ‘unable to play xxxx. Unable to connect to xxxx’my system is:ZP100 (wired)ZP80 (wired)Play5 (wired)One (wireless)Any ideas why this is happening?is it something to do with the One being in a system of legacy products?
Trying to add a user to an existing system. The app can’t find the system. User’s phone is on the same WiFi as Sonos. Other users have no problem. did try to uninstall & reinstall. No luck. suggestions?
I’ve been having a problem with Sonos not being able to index my podcasts since I upgraded my OSX to Catalina. (I’m currently running 10.15.6.) I’m getting the error message “Sonos was unable to add the music folder.” Under Catalina, Apple introduced the new Podcasts app and changed the location where podcast files are stored. On my iMac, podcasts are now stored at “/Users/me/Library/Group Containers/243LU875E5.groups.com.apple.podcasts/Library/Cache”. When I try to add that folder to the Sonos Music Library, I get the error. My music is still being indexed just fine as far as I can tell. My firewall is turned on and allows the “Sonos S1 Controller.app” incoming connections. Has anyone else had this problem? Can you tell me how to fix it?
