It’s my first time purchasing anything from Sonos and I thought it would be best to order directly from their website, but I failed to check what delivery courrier they use in Toronto, Canada. My package was set to arrive yesterday. However, upon email notification from Purolator that my package had been delivered to my door, I sent my roommate a text to retrieve it but nothing was there. I understand that this quarantine is a trying time on delivery drivers but the doorbell was not wrung nor was there a knock at the door (I live in a not-so-safe neighborhood in the city, so I have a feeling my package was stolen from my doorstep). I think I need to file a claim with Purolator, but I also read on the Sonos website that I technically assume responsibility if a package was stolen/lost. If anyone has had previous experience with a Sonos package being stolen, what course of action do you typically take? and what should I do given my situation? I am unable to just purchase another speake
Hi, since the new app none of my rooms or speakers appear on the app. I have tired every option give by the FAQ’s but still nothing. Attached cable to speaks and router, reset all speaks, resent app, turn power off for an hour overnight - nothing no more options left - help!
Hi I have have 3 units for years, but for the last year I have have issues joining two of my speakers together. I can connect both of the speakers to the other device, but not at the same time. I have reset all the units many times but always the same problem. your help would be greatly appreciated.
Network MatrixI’ve been having issues with my system for a few months now and I need some help. I’ve had my system for about 4 years now. A playbar, sub, and two play3’s in a stereo pair for surrounds, They make up a group called lounge in the living room. I have another play1 that hangs out in the kitchen called traveler. So here is the problem:When I play music, doesn’t matter where the source is coming from, it can be from my synology NAS or amazon music, or sonos radio, it will drop audio in the lounge group for 3-10 seconds. It can be every 10-20 minutes or it can be unbearable and a couple of times in the span of one song, or it can go hours without issue. But here’s the deal, Traveler NEVER drops, it’s located about 10-15 feet form the living room (in the kitchen). And when I watch movies/TV the audio is always perfect and never ever drops in the group. In my troubleshooting I got a boost. It didn’t help so I Moved my router/modem/boost out of the living room and into the base
I have 2x Play 1’s, 2x Play 3’s, 2x Play 5’s, the Sub and Playbar, so I’ve been invested since the beginning. I’ve been in a long process of moving house (over a year) and my Sonos was boxed into storage since then, everything was working swimmingly. I’ve now just got a Play 1, 3 and the bridge from the storage and was trying to set it up. First think that came up was an app update, the logo now says Sonos S1 which I’ve come to realise is the first gen speakers, fine, then it detected my speakers and said they need an update, took a while and then failed and then couldn’t see them, I exited the app came back in and it said they were already updated and then they disappeared, could no longer find any hardware. I decided to blow away my setup on the app and start a fresh, still can’t find any speakers. I read that now you can connect the speakers straight to the network and bypass the bridge, tried that and still nothing. I’ve seen someone selling a boost near by which I may go and try t
Some time over the last couple of days my Sonos Five stopped appearing in the list of available airplay devices. I running the latest iOS 14.3 and my Sonos app is up to date. I can still launch the app and play music through it, but am unable to see the Five as an available airplay device when using, for instance, BBC Sounds or Spotify. Any help with this would be greatly appreciated.
Anybody able to help with a problem with my Play 3’s, used as surrounds with a Playbar and Sub on my TV? The Playbar is connected to the TV using optical cable, sub added and play 3’s running as left and right surrounds. The TV set up works perfectly. When I play music on the same system, from about 3 seconds to 12 seconds of each new track, the system stutters, as if it’s trying to sync all of the players. After c12 seconds, it’s settles and plays the whole track. If you skip to next track, it stutters again. i have un-linked the Play 3’s and removed the sub. The Play bar works perfectly on its own. Add the Sub and again, they work perfectly. Both Play 3’s work perfectly on their own and also work perfectly when connected together as a stereo pair. Bizarrely, when I group the play 3’s as a stereo pair with the playbar and the sub, they also work perfectly. But, if I reconnect the play 3’s as surrounds, the stuttering returns when I play music through the system. i hav
Today I started hearing a crackling noise when I start playing music on my Play 5. (Sound observed when you start playing and stops a few seconds after hitting pause or stop. Sound also observed with Apple Music, Amazon Music, and Spotify). I unplugged the device which solved the issue for less than two minutes. I also reset the EQ which only fixed the crackling for a minute or two. Have had the Play 5 since 12/15/2020. First time noticing an issue. Suggestions are appreciated!
It worked fine for about a month then all of a sudden, boom, the phone apps no longer recognize it. Reset the phone, cleared the apps’ cache, rebooted the arc, then finally reset the arc. Nothing works. Now when I try to set up the arc again, it won’t even find it. Is this a common problem? I just bought another speaker for my boyfriend’s office. If these things are this finnicky I’ll just return it.
Keep getting message unable to play radio stations, for any station. Subscribed to radio HD this week, which I’ll cancel because it doesn’t seem to offer any features and now none of the stations I usually listen to are available, BBC mainly. Tried the reboot everything, no luck.
Got a new router, now existing Sonos won’t connect. Can’t find where to change password in Sonos
Sometimes when we turn on the tv and sonos playbase, no sound comes out. If I look in the app, the TV input isn’t selected but nothing plays when I select it. Audio In shows no signal. Other times the system works as expected with the TV and always works with music via app. If it’s not working, it fixes itself next time we turn it on. So it’s definitely an intermittent issue with the line in. I have checked the optical cable has a red light, replaced the cable, rebooted, checked TV and sonos are up to date, checked audio format in Tv so not sure what else to look for. I’ve submitted diagnostics - confirmation number: 161195062ThanksDom
I bought my son a Sonos Beam for Christmas. He lives in his fraternity house but all devices must connect to campus wifi - devices with an operating system like phones, laptops, etc. connect to one. Devices without an operating system - soundbars, playstation, Alexa, etc. connect to the other. Is there any way to use the Sonos Beam for anything other than a tv soundbar without access to wifi? There is no way his phone (iPhone) and the Beam can be set up on the same network. They do not have ethernet in the fraternity house (old house). Can you use Airplay 2 to stream from the phone to the Beam without wifi or does that need wifi as well? If wifi is a must, do they need to be on the same network (my guess would be yes but I don't know) Looks like the answer was not doable to this a couple of years ago but don't know if things have changed since then. Trying to avoid shipping it back to sonos!
Today our Sonos stopped working and the app said a software update was required. We did the update, then the TV remote no longer worked. We re-added the remote using the process on the app. Now, the TV remote will only adjust the volume if I’m less than 6 feet away. Before the software update everything worked great. Nothing else has changed. I read some similar posts, tried unplugging the play bar, changed the batteries on the remote, cleaned the IR window. Nothing helps. Help would be appreciated.
I’m having issues and the system is largely useless it used to work fine in multiple rooms but now I keep getting the “connection to Spotify lost” and tracks are skipping or just not playing.ive checked for updates and reset/reinstalled all 7 speakers please help
My system is randomly resetting itself; speakers stop playing and system returns to life with any room groupings removed and queues deleted.Any ideas welcome.
I just bought a Sonos Move today and it works great on Wi-Fi but when I switch to Bluetooth and try to use any of the EQ presets on Spotify the bass starts bottoming out. Anyone else have this issue or know of a solution?

Hello, since I bought my new Samsung Qled 95T, I have problems with the Sonos Arc.the sounds skipped always and I have to switch off the power of the Arc on and off to get sound again. The software is up to date, but the problem is still there. the second problem is, I cannot listen with my Bluetooth headphones (Sennheiser pxc 550) with this high end Television 😣. With the old 4K Samsung my wife could listen normal with the Arc and I with the headphone( my hearings is not so good anymore). Are there solutions for this problem? I want to use my headphone. Can I by an optical transmitter an use the optical port of the Arc for sound on my headphone and the Sonos Arc connected with hdmi ?
Hi my play bar has started “stuttering” at the start of a new track download. It never used to do this and none if my other sonos products do it. Any ideas ?
I'm having issues with my Sonos system since connecting to a new Wi-Fi network. A lot of the time, the app won't load any of the rooms/speakers and I have to turn Wi-Fi off and on again, close down the app, etc and sometimes this will work, sometimes it won't. I'm now trying to stream a song via spotify through a play 5, play 1 and a sub. I get half way into the song and each speaker turns off and on intermittently. I'll have the sub only playing base for a few seconds, then maybe the play1 and maybe the play5. Very rarely them all together. Please help me fix my system as I've invested a few thousand pounds now in my system. update- this only seems to occur when using spotify. Tunein doesn't seem to have any issue
I want to output the audio from my Samsung Frame TVs to 2 x Sonos ones in stereo. Is that possible?, I can’t use a playbar due to the way the frame is setup but is it possible with a connect amp?
I’ve got 2 separate Sonos systems since the S2 app won’t work with my Play 5 and Connect Amp. My new system consists of an Arc, Sub, Amp and 2 in-ceiling Polk Audio speakers. This is the one I’m having issues with When I‘m not using the system, my left rear speaker makes a crackling noise at random times. Approximately every 20 minutes. The sound is quiet, so it is not always noticeable with ambient noise going on, but when the house is quiet it is annoying. Any ideas what this could be and how to stop it?
A few days ago, my Sonos app started being unstable. Most of their options are grayed out. I lost setup of my Sonos devices, they won’t load I can control them from any other app, such as Spotify, and the names appear correctly In some cases I’ve been able to see my local system, and grouped speakers. I restarted one of my speakers, to do configuration from zero, but it won’t let me finish the configuration.I’m attaching screenshots of how my app looks. I’ve tried with multiple phones, and with on my 4G cellphone network, and they all stay the same, grayed out. I restarted the app from zero, without adding a system to it, to see if my local system was the problem. But even when having the app started from zero, all these problems persist. If I try to join my Sonos local system, it does find it and it does says “You are connected to your Sonos at WiFi Network”I’ve seen the Sonos Service has some problems right now https://status.sonos.com/ but I don’t know if this is related to that.Is
