I have many Sonos products (Base, Amp, Sub, 6 speakers and a Move) on my network that were all working in harmony.When I wanted to buy a soundbar, I turned again to Sonos. What a mistake!!!!! I bought a Beam with two ERA 100 speakers and followed the instructions, but could not get the speakers to work. So I called Sonos support department and everything got much worse. After being on the phone for over two hours, the support person could not get the speakers to work. Additionally, he told me that I needed to disconnect the Ethernet cable from one of my Sonos products. That was an insurmountable problem since NONE of my Sonos products are connected to Ethernet. The rep demanded that I send him pictures of the different components showing NO Ethernet connected. He essentially insulted me and insinuated that I simply didn’t know what an Ethernet cable is. I run an IT support company and probably know more about networking than he does. In the end he never was able to connect the speakers

Hello everyone,I have a Xgimi Elfin projector with the Android operating system, which only has one HDMI input. When I connect my Sonos Beam 2, I can hear perfectly and even in Dolby Atmos. Now the problem is that I have a PS5, and if I want to connect it to the projector, I wouldn't be able to connect the Sonos Beam 2 at the same time. Is there any option to connect both the PS5 and the Sonos Beam 2?Thank youBest regards

Hi,I've got a playbar, sub & 2 One’s setup for my surround sound. Been working for years, now all of a sudden, the system loses the sub & 2 One’s. I can reboot the devices and it’ll work for half hour, same if I reboot the router. I’ve removed them from the system and added back in, but still getting the same issue.I've done a diagnostics report - 1143481191Any suggestions?

Just one of my five zones needs Sonos wireless comms, the rest are all ethernet wired back to the router, This one zone is an Echo Show wired to the line in of a Connect. The Connect line in is set up to autoplay to a Play 1 pair + Sub. All zones are set up to use Sonos net.When all zones but the referred one are powered off, the play 1 pair+ Sub will still play music that the Echo sends to the Connect. This must be via an independent WiFi comms set up from the Connect to Play 1 pair + Sub. The question I have is if running an easily run ethernet wire from the Connect to one or both play 1 units will enhance music play stability or hinder it.To eliminate some occasional stutter I have set the delay to the max of 2000 ms, but I cannot be sure if that is in the wireless stream to the Show, or downstream of it in the Sonos components.

Hello,I have been using a mesh wifi based on the TP Link Archer AX55 router + 3 satellites to cover the entire house.It turns out that deconnections happen A LOT… especially when moving around in the house while listening to Spotify music.If anybody can advise some way to stabilize this situation, I would appreciate !Thanks.

New to SONOS. New construction home, with cat6 & speaker cables pre-run to a media closet.  I have 8 ceiling speakers hooked up to 2 AMPs (4 speakers per).  I need 2 Samsung TV’s sound to get 2 the AMPs, one TV to each AMP.  I have cat6 running from TV locations to the media closet where the AMPs are located, appx run is 50ft for one and 75ft for another.  Both Samsung TVs with eARC.  I need help with what extender/adapter to use for the HDMI/cat6 connection to the AMPs to get the TV sound to the AMPs to have the TV sound (mainly football games) play in ceiling speakers.I tried this item, but could not get any signal:https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07WFLHTKK/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_image_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Any help or direction is appreciated.

TV remote and group control issue. Limited high frequency sound reproduction. My Sonos system consists of a Beam (Gen 2), two One SL speakers, and a sub mini.  All are connected for sound to a Samsung LED TV (QN65 Q60 series) via HDMI e-Arc).  My internet connection is wireless.  Using the Sonos 2 App on an iPhone 12.I just purchased a pair of Era 100s, hoping to add as additional surrounds, so I would have 4 surround speakers in total.  However, the Sonos 2 App apparently will connect the Era 100 speakers only in separate rooms. So, after going through the automatic set up routine, I now have Family Room 1 control for the Beam, One SL (LS), One SL (RS) and the sub mini. The set up routine creates Family Room 2 for one of the Era 100 speakers and Family Room 3 for the other. I cannot find a way to add the Era 100s to Family Room 1.  I have been connected all the components to the Sonos 2 App using the group option by including Family Rooms 1, 2 and 3 in a group.  But this causes two is

Please can someone explain what I doing wrong.  I bought a sonos amp and set it up in my UK setup then took it to our house abroad.  It asked to update to the new wifi network which it did but then it insisted on updating all the UK ones to the spain wifi.  I have read various guides and forum posts but none seem to do anything.  Surely this shold be as easy as clicking a button saying “add new home” or something.Anyway now back in the UK I had to setup the UK ones with the UK wifi and now it wants to move the amp on to that wifi.How the heck do I setup a second home????

I just moved so I’m reconfiguring my system. I have a Playbar I used for TV and a Play5 and a sub for music. What I would like to do is buy a second Play5. I would have the Play5s on each side of the TV grouped with the Playbar and sub for theater, and have a second group, minus the Playbar for music. Can I do that? Everything I’ve read is either very confusing or a no! Thanks for your help.

Is it possible/will it be possible to easily switch between using the Era speakers line in while they're set up as surrounds? Seems like a major oversight to not allow this and to require the speakers to be totally disconnected and readded as a stereo pair ever time you want to use the line in input, especially since the setup process never goes as smoothly as advertised. Could this be a future software update? I'm honestly pretty frustrated with this lack of functionality considering how these speakers are advertised and their price.

I have 10 play: one and 2 play: five speakers that are all wireless in my retail store. I have wifi throughout with also a boost. But the music will cut in and out at random times bc either the network looses connection or the song is not formatted for sonos play (keep in mind I am using sonos radio!). Being frustrated with this, I am trying to wire the speakers and got some done but went into the setting to disable the wireless in a play: one and the speaker became “lost” in my network. Only way to get it back was factory reset the speaker and start over, but the system wouldn’t connect via wired. Need help please!

Hi,First time posting here so appreciate any help with this problem.I recently purchased the Beam 2 to connect to my LG OLED A1 tv (EArc) . Current setup:LG OLED A1 TV - EArc connected to Beam 22 x One SL added as surrounds, SUB Gen 3 also connected.iPad SOnos app - Spotify musicTrue play completed and when playing via TV (Netflix onboard TV app ) or Mac Mini HDMI to LG HDMI, sound is incredible , can see that ATMOS is going through via the SONOS system playing screen.I also have a stereo pair also setup in lounge area for music.Previously before the BEAM 2 addition, I was playing Spotify via the SONOS app to 4x ONE SL’s and SUB and the sound was amazing , clear punchy bass.  Now that the the beam 2 and surrounds are added and I play music from SONOS selecting the Living room bonded 5.1 setup the bass is lacking and very lacklustre .  I can manually turn up the SUB audio , but its different , not clear and very muddy.  When I unbond the sub and join it to the stereo pair, bass is clear

Sonos BOOST Wireless Range Extender is no longer available through SONOS but can still be purchased through a third party (Argos, for example). Does anyone know why?

Can I connect sound bars in each TV room?  I'm spoiled and refuse to listen to a movie any where out of tv speakers.

I have a dolby atmos speaker system (5.1.2), with onkyo tx nr7100 receiver running it. I am thinking of getting a sonos port, connect it to my receiver using the digital output on the sonos port into the digital input on my receiver, and enable work with sonos passthrough mode. My question is this: Will my system be able to play the dolby atmos spatial music from apple music, if i stream it from the sonos app?

I've already setup my Move2 to my wi-fi network...I just recieved my Sonos Ethernet adaptor...What are the steps to EASILY switch over ?Do I need to reset my Move 2, and start all over again and if so, could someone list th individual steps...Thanks...

I bought thr Sonos ERA 100 speakers and want to play them along with my other speakers which are connected to a ONKYO TXRZ720 (not sonos compatible) receiver.  How do I connect the sonos to my receiver so I can listen to all my speakers or is this not possible.  If not would a sonos port work and how would it be setup with my onkyo receiver?Thanks.

I followed the steps in this article and my Sonos system is now fully functional on a T-Mobile 5G Home Internet Wi-Fi network.  I am running 4 One’s, 2 Five’s, 1 Amp, 1 Move and 1 Playbar. I believe the key was shutting all components off and then powering them up in RESET mode.  This created a clean slate for connecting to the T-Mobile 5G Gateway.I just completed this today (Dec 10 2023) and will report back on stability over the next couple weeks.

Hello all!If a I connect my stereo capable turntable through an era 100’s line-in that is in turn connected to my home system that has a stereo setup ( 2 sonos play 1s) in the living room, will the living produce stereo sound coming from my turntable through the era 100? Thanks! -Nash

I have a Samsung TV on my patio that is connected to ethernet that I use YouTube TV on. is there anyway that I could push what is playing on the TV with YouTube TV or Apple TV? If I’m using Apple TV that’s been built into the TV and push it to a Sonos amplifier wirelessly so I can use the speakers on the patio to play the sound?

I am hoping you can help me as this is driving me nuts :)I have a Sonance (BestBuy) 6.1 system setup and have 2 in ceiling speakers on the patio that are connected to my Yamaha receiver RX-A870 zone 2. I purchased a Sonos “port” per the recommendations of Sonos so i can use the sonos app to control my patio speakers and to “group” the patio speakers to the Sonance 6.1 system. I have connected my Sonos port Via Coaxial cable to my Yamaha receiver Coaxial Audio 3. I turned on Zone 2 and tried to get the patio speakers to play through the Sonos app with no luck. How do I get this all to work?  Thank you so much
