I purchased two Moves with the intent of creating a stereo pair of portable speakers. Fine on WiFi. Bluetooth is a whole different story. I should have paid closer attention to the specifications - specifically the FAQ. The whole point of getting two Moves was to take my music outside and on the road where there is no WiFi. I am very disappointed in Sonos at the moment. There is an old guideline in product design/development: if you can’t do something fully and completely to what the average customer will expect, don’t do it until you can.To the Sonos engineers and product management folks: engineering a pair of speakers to work as a stereo pair over bluetooth is very possible and has been accomplished many times. I have a pair of very high quality JBL Flip4s which work nicely in stereo mode while connected to my phone in Bluetooth mode. They do this by pairing the streaming device to one of the speakers and then connecting the two speakers to each other so that the one drive

A huge leak just came out tonight from the Verge regarding The new Sonos product. If you are interested in the rumored details including images, pricing, specs etc. just search for it and it’s all over. Sucks that it popped early as it’s like being told what you got for Christmas before you are able to open thise special Santa gifts. 

I have recently paired an LG CX OLED TV with a Sonos Arc - a popular combination and I get Dobly Atmos!  I added two sonos Ones for rear speakers.  I have an existing subwoofer that has an 18inch driver and was brilliant in a former setup, but I’ve discovered there is no way to get an audio signal out to use it, let alone a 5.1 sub output. There’s a confusing number of conversations around this, but I’m starting to understand that a Sonos PORT is the only way I can now get an analogue or digital output to work with.Question: is that true? Are there alternatives?Question: if I get a SONOS port, do I then need to use the digital COAX output (and why did they drop the TOS output??) and feed that into a Dolby decoder box of some sort to get my LFE sub channel out?Question: will I then be able to configure the PORT output to be a subwoofer for the Sonos ARC tv setup?Whilst the Port is an expensive option, I do also have a legacy high quality amp that I might al

Hello everyone,    I recently purchased a Sonos Arc to accompany my Philips PUS8204/12. I have noticed a rattling / crackle at certain times watching blu ray movies. I have a case open with Sonos and senior sound engineers are checking the issue. It seems very similar to the issue found in the Bose forum https://community.bose.com/t5/Home-Theater/Bose-Soundbar-500-rattle-crackle-with-Dolby-Digital-Source/td-p/207427/page/6   I first noticed the crackle listening to blu ray (Hans Zimmer live in Prague - inception time). This was very audible and my family and I looked at eachother worryingly all noticing the strange noise. The same issue occurred watching the Conjuring 2 even at low volumes. Both were receiving Dolby atmos signal as shown in the app. Things I have tried

I wish to buy a pair of Play:5 gen 2 speakers (white) and am advised that they are best mounted vertically.  However, I seem unable to find a suitable wall mount. I contacted Flexson, who did make one, but it’s been discontinued due to very low demand.  Not having brackets is a showstopper for me. Does anyone have any ideas?

I have a home surround sound system (non-sonos) in my theater room.  I want to tie it into my Sonos eco-system.  I believe the Port and Amp will achieve this.  In the future I want to get an amp for my front and center speakers.  Can I kill 2 birds with one stone with the amp?  If so, is the amp a good choice for my front speakers?

Please add support for additional surrounds and Atmos speakers in the ARC ecosystem. While bouncing Atmos off the ceiling is a decent method. Having ceiling mounted Atmos channels would be fantastic.  mike

Hi. I have a playbase and 2x Sonos Ones (surrounds) connected to my TV and I am very happy. I am keen on exploring vinyl and I am looking at a Lenco L-85 which is quite cheap at £115 which also contains a pre amp. What I am wondering is can I use my Sonos Ones as a stereo pair using a Sonos connect without disconnecting from my tv setup. 

Hi,I recently bought a Western Digital (WD) My Cloud Home in hopes of using it in conjunction with Sonos to stream a collection of live recordings that I have saved on a hard drive. The only option is to play these files from a hard drive as they are not recordings that exist on streaming services.I got the My Cloud Home set up and connected to my Sonos system and I can play files using the “My Cloud Home” music service that can be added to the Sonos controller.The problem I’m having, though, is that the Sonos My Cloud Home service only recognizes a some of the files in my collection, and many of the others don’t show up and are thus inaccessible.Does anyone know if there is another way to stream music files from a WD My Cloud Home device without going through the Sonos My Cloud Home music service?Thanks,Jon

I’m new to Sonos so maybe I’m missing something.In the Sonos S2 app for iOS is there a way to click on a single song and reveal the entire album this song is on? This would be very handy when listening to playlists if I want to jump to the album of the artist I’m listening to.  Seems cumbersome to leave the Sonos app, go to Apple Music, find the song/album, add to my library, then re-enter Sonos app in order to listen to it. There must be a better way! Thanks. 

Hi Everyone,Looking for some help on setup for my office. Let me start by saying I’ve seen all the zero latency line-in threads and that’s not what I’m asking for here.I would like to setup some studio monitors in my office so that I can do real-time audio monitoring from my computer, but I would also like to be able to, at times, add them to one of my Sonos groups. So here is my question:Are there any devices that can take two audio inputs (computer audio & Sonos amp/port input) and switch between the two, preferably automatically. Bonus points if I can also switch the output from the studio monitors to headphones on the fly.Thanks in advance!

Hello, This topic is in continuation of this one. I currently have a 5.0 setup with Beam and 2 Ones.The “problem” is that my room is very wide and I get the impression that the soundstage generated by the Beam is too narrow.I initially thought that upgrading to an Arc was the only option (having the risk of not being wide enough), but it was pointed out that an Amp could also be a solution whilst keeping my Ones. In any case, the Beam would need to be sold or moved, of course. I was checking the prices for the Amp and wired speakers and got to this conclusion (considering, of course, “regular” ordinary speakers, nothing too fancy or professional): Cheapest option (5.0): Arc onlyMedium option (4.1 or 4.0): Amp + wired bookshelf speakers + wired sub or Amp + floorstanding speakers)Too ex

I got a Samsung q70t 85 inches. When I plug my Sonos Arc via eARC the sound turn on and off. But, when I use the optical adapter it work perfectly but i can't use dolby atmos.

 Hello,I have 2 Sonos Five connected in stereo pair in horizontal position.I have a doubt, If I only turn on one of them, that Sonos Five detects it and works as “fulll stereo” like it isn’t in stereo pair configured?Or continue to work as left or right channel as is configured in the app? Thanks!

My sub and surrounds show up as ? with my arc. I have submitted diagnostic 2022444264. I have removed them, factory reset, added them back, rebooted router and boost. Nothing worked. Up until today everything was fine. Please help.

I’m new to the turntable market. Want to purchase a turntable and Five. 1) What is your opinion on the quality difference between the 2 sold thru Sonos... Pro-ject T1 and Debut Carbon Esprit? I realize turntable components can be upgraded. I place a high emphasis on sound quality. Is the DC Esprit that much better or would a couple minor upgrades on the T1 make it comparable? Lots of opinions out there on the Sumiko Rainier vs Ortofon 2M Red  2) Do both come with a built-in preamp?3) Is the non-Sonos Esprit the same thing minus the logo? Can’t image the Sonos logo alone adds $50. Thought I read somewhere the non Sonos version doesn’t have a preamp. 

Hi!It would be great if you could add the possibility to bypass the sub crossover filter in the app when connecting a subwoofer to an Amp. I want the possibility to let my front speakers always play the full frequency range also when a subwoofer is connected. So either have a radio button for whether crossover should be applied for both speakers and sub or for sub only, or an option to always send the full frequency range to both speakers and sub output and let me control the crossover on the subwoofer itself.Now I know I can achieve this by connecting speaker cable from the Amp’s speaker terminals to the subwoofer’s high level connectors. But the I’d then lose the possibility to control the sub volume level from the app.Thanks, Björn

Hi community,i already have 2 Sonos Five connected to my TV and I love them a lot.I would love to know if we can use a preamplifier for Home Theater and using jack input from each of the 5 Sonos Five to connect them to the preamplifier to get a perfect sound quality.if yes, how we can connect the Sonos sub or subs?Thanks for your help

I have Beam, connect and play 3. When I grouped them I can play music with no problem but when I try to play TV, I can only hear from beam. What am I doing wrong?
