I have a Samsung HW-Q900T soundbar connected to my Samsung TV which I am very happy with. I would like to add this Samsung soundbar to the rest of my Sonos system. Can I connect a Sonos Port or Amp to the Samsung soundbar without adding any additional Sonos speakers. The new Sonos Pot has a digital out but it is a round female connector like an RCA plug, it does not look like a conventional digital optical plug. On the other hand my soundbar has a digital audiooptical in and HDMI in connections.

Hello! Non-techy Dinosaur here; I have a Sonos system that I play Pandora in the living room/great-room area. I also have a desktop pc in a back bedroom, no Sonos speakers there but obviously with  pc speakers. Is it possible to get the Sonos/Pandora to play in the bedroom thru the Internet at the same time? I went to my Sonos & Pandora accounts, but did not see any way to sync them up. Please let me know if it’s possible, Thanks! Steve

When will iOS Shortcut be abailable for the SONOS app?It would be very helpfull to start the last or a special defined playlist in a room and activate a sleep timer by only one shortcut/ voice command.

My music library consists of several thousand recordings managed through iTunes (though I’ve just discovered iTunes has been replaced by Music).  I have configured iTunes/Music to load and access files from an external hard drive attached to a MacMini running macOS Catalina 10.17.5.This MacMini runs S1, and I have several Sonos components on S1 in my home.  I have used the MacMini’s S1 Controller’s Music Library Settings to assign the correct directory with my music files on the external drive.  This had worked for many years, but at some time in the recent past the Music Library listings disappeared. After putting off dealing with this issue for a while, I bit the bullet this weekend and began troubleshooting.  Progress so far:I downloaded and installed the latest version of S1 Controller for Mac (11.2.9) I have configured S1 to access the music files on the external drive several times I have run the indexing several times I hav

Set-upSamsung UN60D6000  TV (2011) with standard ARCARC connected to Sonos Arc with sub.DirecTV Receiver connected to TV via HDMI. My Directv receiver is set to Dolby Digital output. When I review audio output on DTV info, it notes that the signal is Dolby Digital and should be output as 5.1, also. However, on Samsung TV Info - Dolby Digital does not show as active and PCM is the only option available uner “audio” (Dolby is greyed out). Additionally Sonos App indicates PCM signal only from TV, even though I am sure original programming is in 5.1 and DTV receiver info confirms.AppleTV (non 4K) connected to TV via HDMI. AppleTV set to Dolby Digital.  TV info shows Dolby Digital as the format on appropriate apps supporting it and PCM on non-Dolby apps. Sonos apps accurately reflects either 5.1 or PCM, whichever is present. The AppleTV output through the HDMI Arc is working correctly, dependent on app audio mode.ISSUE:Any ideas on why I am not get

HeyNot sure if this is a use question or feedback.I use quite often the function "start radio" from a specific song. I find it's a nice way to create a playlist without much effort. The thing is, when I do this I like being able to see the proposed queue and edit it, removing, skipping or resorting songs. When I try to do this in the Sonos app the queue seems empty, is this normal?The result is that I default back to my YTM app, but since it cannot directly cast to my speakers I need to go through my TV Chromecast, which unnecessarily keeps the TV screen on while I play music.Would be great to know if others also have the same issue and being able to raise the feedback to the dev team. ThanksSergio      

Western Drive have been compromised and told me to disconnect MyBookLive from the internet so my 125gb of music, lovingly put together over 18 years is now invisible to Sonos. WD solution… I transfer it all on to something else, send them the hardrive they send a voucher for 40% off certain models and I buy one and transfer from the “something else” to the newly purchased item.

Dear Sonos being a huge investor into your system I decided it was time to upgrade into the garden. I looked at the outdoor indoor set and thought that would work. the shipping date for this is end of July.  That is 8 weeks away - of course I can purchase from your retailers that seem to have plenty of stock. so I thought maybe I should move to the amp and sonance speaker set and this also has shipping in the distant future. I contacted customer service who said demand was high and they are unable to fulfil orders. this morning I received two emails from you.. ‘fast and free shipping’. This is clearly not correct as fast is really next day, even next month would be better than two. the second email was regarding high demand on the move and get the last few items, before this email you had an 8 week wait list. my question is why can’t you be honest and tell people what the

Is it possible to use my Sonos 1 as TV audio? 

After the latest update (13.1.4), I’ve noticed the speakers connected to my Amp have lower volume and lack the soundstage they used to have (very narrow and completely lacking detail and range). Also, the surrounds volume is now louder.Before anyone asks, I have not changed any settings or my configuration lately and I have tried “power cycling” the Amp to no avail.Has anyone else experienced this?

How could Sonos join with IKEA?A brand like yours with it’s appearance, quality and status!In my opinion this is putting yourself down. I am a fond owner of many (12) Sonos items, but this collaboration makes me wonder if I should continue with your brand. I think you are making a huge -marketing- mistake. Best regards,Marc  

My roam arrives tomorrow and was curious if the roam will be able to stereo pair to a Sonos One I already have in my kitchen ? Using Sonosnet throughout my house.Like the idea of taking my roam on the go when out of the house and use with BT but when home I’d like to drop it back in kitchen to act in stereo pair with my Sonos One If possible - Will I have to repair every time I return home and place the roam back in kitchen on sonosnet ? Thanks for the help 

Background: Bought a house with 4 “dumb” ceiling speakers in 4 different rooms. Owners had a Denon receiver, an AudioSource amp and a Russound SS-4.2 4-way speaker selector. Each speaker has 4 wires and also has wall volume dials. The wires are all disconnected.My goal: Stream Sonos (and Spotify) through the 4 speakers and be able to control the volume of each speaker and turn each speaker on and off from my phone.Question: Can I use the Sonos Amp with the Russound SS-4.2 4-way selector? Hiya..I am looking to buy a couple of Roams to use around the house. I was wondering if I would be able to take them away in my motor home and use them straight from my iPhone as a stereo play or would I need to set up some Linda local network? Hoping for the former! Martin

Hi have a roam speaker thinking of getting 2.  I understand 2 x roam can be used in Stereo under wifi, and does not work in stereo in bluetooth.Can 2 sonos roams be connected to a single bluetooth streaming?Is it possible to play 2 x sonos roam not in stereo from either a samsung galaxy s7 or iphone 12.  Thanks

I am traveling the United States. I bought 2 Roam speakers for bluetooth playing. I have no wifi network here. AND I CAN NOT SET UP MY SPEAKERS. There is no support. Boot on chat, phone is offline, no mail answer. Now I have 2 plastic usless boxes for the next 2 month/  I wish this company go straight to hell. No. Really.

Hi guys,This is my first post using this platform and I’m still getting familiar with how everything works. I’ve owned my Sonos products for about a year now, which consists of the following items;Arc2x Fives1 x Sub Gen 3Those are in my living room as I frequently use them for music, PS4 gaming and 4K/Dolby Amos enabled movie streaming (Netflix). I have no complaints about the performance and listening experience however I’ve become aware that I can add a second Sub Gen 3 and wished to know if anyone has first hand experience and if there’s proper improvement.

I am shocked at how long my return is taking to process.  Is this common?  Sonos received the item on 5/21 and I have heard nothing.  The only reason I know they received it is I kept the tracking number.  This seems like a long time to wait.  Can anyone shed any light on this?

Hello Everyone I am Planing to install Surround Setup (Home theatre)  Front Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Rear Speaker - One SL - 1 Pair Right and Left Center Speaker  - Arc Sound BarFrontSub - Sub In Celling - Sonance 1 Pair with Amp  Is this the correct surround Sound Setup or do I need to add or change anything in this setup please advice or suggest.

Sorry to bring up what appears to be a routine question, but I cannot find an answer that applies to my situation.I got a new router (Orange Livebox4) a few months ago and since then have failed to get my Sonos 3 and 5 speakers to work (using controller 1). I eventually got them working by moving the Sonos 3 from my study to the passage cupboard containing the Livebox and connecting with ethernet.  I now want my speaker back in the study.I went to Sonos>Settings>System>System settings.First I selected Wireless setup and came to a halt because I was told my router password was incorrect (I double checked it by disconnecting and reconnecting other devices to my router).Then I selected Networks, chose my router network (the only one available) and was told “In Use”.I really don’t want to understand much more about networks.  I simply want to get back to listening to my music! 

​I’m having problems right now with the S2 Android and PC apps telling me that something on my system is incompatible. I have three Play:1s, none of which are reported on the System page in my account as incompatible.Solutions for fixing this incompatibility message such ashaven’t helped. When I follow the steps from that, I get to the point of checking for updates, where I get an error 1101: https://support.sonos.com/s/article/4908From that page, when I restart the S2 PC app, it says it’s found Sonos on the network (without noting any incompatibility) but tells me there’s an update, which just goes back around to that same error code

 First, let me say this soundbar sounds good when it works. However it is the most buggy soundbar I have ever owned and I’m not alone. Do a simple search on any issue I’m having and their is MULTIPLE post about it with ZERO resolutions. Sonos suggestions are to spend money on cables, etc and to blame every other piece of hardware but their own.  “Send us a diagnostic report” and every time “Looks fine from the report” yet the issue is still there. My soundbar does two things all the time. The audio gets distorted when playing Atmos audio. Only work around (not a fix) is to shut every thing down over and over until you hit the lotto and it works. No it’s not my internet connect as it’s hardwired, my phone that uses the app gets 800 Mbps over Wi-Fi at location.  My whole network is a very well done Ubiquiti setup in which every hardwired or wireless device works flawless on besides, you guessed it, the Arc! Second issue which is a daily issue.
