Hi all,Just looking to upgrade the master bedroom.. I’ve already got a couple Play Ones in there for music. Looking to pair them with either a Playbase or Beam Gen 2. I have an opportunity to get a new Playbase for $300. Vs $450 for the Beam Gen 2.  The TV is older so the lack of Dolby Atmos isn’t an issue at the moment. I am a bit concerned about future support for the Playbase. Not really concerned about not having Dolby Atmos in the bedroom. Any thoughts? Thanks :) 

Does anyone know if the Amp would be a good fit for either of these speakers? 

I’d like to replace my existing NETGEAR Router which seems to be dying with a new Nighthawk router.  Is the AX2700 a good choice.   I already own a Nighthawk EAX780 AX6000 extender and i notice SONOS complains about that all the time, and I’d like to not make the problem worse. 

Hey, just wondering before I buy a beam Gen2 if you can set it up with 2 symfoniska ikea x sonos speakers or if I need to buy two other speakers that are compatible

Dear all, just a quick suggestion: wouldn’t it be possible to use roam or move speakers as surround spekers for 5.1 systems? Taht would give even greater flexibility and eliminate the need to find a plug in the right location. Usually, you don’t see a picture or a 5.1 program longer than the 10 hours of autonomy of those products, and the design would become cleaner without any wire! Is there any technical questio that prevents this? Are you planning to solve it out at some point?

Can Playbar connect to Humax STB instead of TV optical out? 

Has anyone on here bought the new “Mountson Premium Wall Mount for Sonos Move”. I’ve just received mine but it comes with the front cover attached, which needs removing to access the screw holes, but I cannot remove it! Hi, I'm looking to join to Sonos ecosystem and have found 2 offers and am wondering which is better. Option 1: 2 play 1s and a play 3 Option 2: 2 play 5s (gen 1)Mostly will be used for listening to music (techno and rap) and also for watching tv.From what I've read the play 5 gen 1s are significantly worse than the gen 2s and any comparisons I can find between 2 play 1s and play 5 (gen 1) say the plays are better due to the stereo pair. But if I had a pair of play 5 (gen 1) that would negate this point so I'm not sure which option I should choose.Thanks.

After upgrading to release 14.6, I’ve noticed that the SUB frequently gets out of sync (lags) relative to the ARC.  When this happens the SUB can sound like reverb - it really degrades the sound experience quite a bit.  Removing the SUB and then adding it back in does not seem to remedy the problem -- the only thing I have found that clears this state is power cycling the ARC.

We have a sonos playbar that has suddenly stopped working. We believe it may have stopped working because it was accidently turned up too loud.At present, we can’t even get any power lights to come on, we have tried a different cable and a factory reset but it’s still the same.Having spoken to Sonos support this afternoon because it is out of warranty all they have offer is 30% of a new product, which is not an option, we can’t afford it!They have also requested we send them the old product back before they will give us the discount code, which I expect is so they can repair it and sell in on as a refurbished item on their website for £349! This seems to be a complete scam to me!From reading through various conversations on this website it appears to be a common fault that they know about and there must be a way to fix it, we would definitely prefer to get it repaired.Is this something anyone else has encountered before? 

I just purchased a home with in-wall speakers and wall controls in about every room. These speaker wires all terminate in the living room near my entertainment cabinet to a Niles  HDS-6L Speaker Control Box. I have a Sonos Playbase and three other Play:1 wireless speakers. I simply want to push the Sonos Playbase audio to these in-home speakers. How to do?

Is there any news on when volume normalisation will be available for playing spotify through sonos speakers?I’ve just purchased 3 speakers for my business and I’m getting really frustrated at having to constantly alter the volume because the playback is either too loud or too quiet.If it’s not something you can/want to do please let us know and the reason why. I think we deserve an honest and comprehensive answer.

I ordered in April with a May 6 shipping date. It has been “preparing to ship” since the 6th. Has anyone ordered an amp of late and are you on the same delay? Not a huge deal but I have an all new music room set-up and all that is missing is the amp. 

I run a split system, usually without issue. However after the Desktop S1 app recently got confused and needed a Reset, one of my Play:5 Gen 1s has become quarantined. It shows in the ZoneGroupState like this:The IP address is correct, but the name is wrong (that is the name of a Beam Gen 2 on my S2 system).If I run the S1 Mobile app, it lists “Den” as “Needs update”. If I try to take the update, it says none is available.How do I get my Play:5 back into a usable state?

HelloI have an LG OLED65CX6LA TV connected via eARC to a Sonos ARC purchased last November. Working perfectly during all this time. It is connected to a Sub and two Play3 as rear speakers.Since yesterday the remote control of the TV has stopped working and I have to adjust the volume of the bar with the iPhone or with the touch buttons on the bar. The TV remote works perfectly with the internal speakers of the TV. I have changed the HDMI cable to rule out a malfunction of it. I have reset the bar to factory values ​​but the problem persists. For a while the remote worked but the sound switched between the bar and the TV's internal speakers.The sound from the bar is still perfect and I can comfortably watch movies in Atmos and Dolby Digital. But I can't adjust the volume. The only way to do this is to watch TV through a second-generation Apple TV 4K. The Apple TV remote works perfectly through the IR port of the ARC.The TV updated WebOS a couple of days ago but the problem appeared yest

Hello all, just a quick question to ask what content people are playing that provides Dolby Atmos True HD?.4k Blu-ray seems to be one but what else?.Still weighing up options, I have an Nvidia Shield Pro that is capable of 4k and Atmos True HD output from streaming services.Is Dolby Digital Atmos compressed noticeable poorer than Atmos True HD?.I presume best Netflix offer is DD+?.

Hey everybody,we are having troubles to connect our Sonos Beam (+ 2x Sonos One SL) to our projector Epson EH-TW7000. Our end goal is to have 5.1 Sound. Our main input is a FireTV Stick.The projector doesn’t have any HDMI Arc output nor an optical. I already bought a HDMI Matrix Switch and tried to connect it with the optical adapter that came with the beam as I noticed the HDMI Arc doesn’t work. So I have a beam with x2 One SLs connected to the TV for surround & WiFi for multi room where I have other One's around the house. All are fine except when I'm near the One sl's (around 2ft) in the living room that are linked to the beam where they start cutting out & in like interference. Anyone else experiencing this issue? 

Hi,Just purchased a Samsung Frame TV (2022) and am considering buying a Leon Frame bar as it will match the aesthetics.  This soundbar does not have an HDMI Arc connection.   I have previously installed in-ceiling front and rear speakers, which I plan to connect using separate amps.Relatively new to this world, but I’m concerned I won’t get 5.1 surround with the way I’m trying to set this up and would appreciate guidance.Samsung Frame TV to Sonos Amp (HDMI), same Sonos Amp to Frame Bar (Center speaker) Front and Rears each with their own Amps.  Sub on its own.Will I get 5.1 out of this setup?  Apologies if this is obvious, appreciate your input!

Is there any difference between having a Boost connected to the router vs a Play 1 connected to the router?Do they both provide the same quality of mesh? Or is the Boost better because that’s is only function?thanks

I just got a sub to pair with my Sonos amp and 4 ceiling speakers that are non Sonos. I am wondering what I should set the crossover frequency at? Sub is under my tv in a larger living room. Also any preference in laying the sub down or standing it up?
