Hello,Hisense PX1 or PX1 pro is the first 4k laser projector I have seen with e-arc port connection. Is anyone using this projector or tried connecting with arc and surrounds? If yes are you getting Dolby atoms? Thanks!
Sonos One SL ,Spotify Premium user, Win 11 laptop has Sonos app. Have installed Spotify through Sonos site. When I open Sonos on PC and select Spotify, it sees only Playlists, not songs or podcasts. I can play those through Android mobile. Why not from laptop?

Hi all,There don't seem to be that many posts about specific Sonos Amp & speaker combinations, so I thought I would briefly share my impressions of the Sonos Amp in combination with the Bowers & Wilkins 707 S2 loudspeakers.I ended up with this combo after half a year without a Sonos (or any real) stereo system following a move to a new, somewhat smaller, home. Having finally got my modestly sized living room in order with furniture placed and (just) enough room for a pair of compact loudspeakers, I went shopping. The 707s were not actually on my initial list of potential buys (I had intended to try their larger sibling, the 706, among other speakers) but upon hearing that my listening space was quite small (effectively a quarter of my living room, putting my usual listening chair less than 2 metres from the speakers) the sales person suggested trying the smaller 707s and they pretty much blew me away, with a remarkably full range sound for such a small speaker. Of course, they a
Cannot control rooms, only master. Looks like a new bug as this has always worked before. FYI.
We are writing summer 2019 and still Sonos only supports SMB version 1 for the Music Library share. This is not acceptable. A file share running SMB1 is extremely vulnerable to all the variants of cryptolocker virus that exists today. File share servers (NAS, Windows, Apple OS) can only support one version of SMB - so you cannot from the same box have one file share (for Sonos) using SMB1 and the other file shares using SMB2 or SMB3. This way Sonos puts each and every file share at serious risc - just because they don’t update their file share protocol to comply with this century. And for the record - the “solution” through PLEX is not a solution. Unstable at best.
Afternoon all, first time posting and could use some help please. In advance of moving into a new build house, I bought the home theatre system from SONOS including the ARC, Play 1’s and Sub. Honestly cannot wait to get them set up. As part of this I have purchased a Samsung QN90B 85inch TV which will be paired with the SONOS system. My wife purchased a TV unit which has also arrived, she wanted to pick the decor hence I gave her requirements for width etc on the TV and she has purchased a Next Bronx 2m Superwide stand, so far so good. That was until I looked at the depth of the TV stand combined with the depth of the ARC. I may have made a reasonably large error. The stand for the TV is a centre stand, 43cm wide to support the TV’s 40-odd kg weight. The tv stand depth is 40cm, the TV Stand is 36.5cm and the ARC is 11.5cm deep which means the ARC will have to sit over the stand. My question is - can this work? Does the ARC have feet on it that would mean it would sit over the stand? Or
I have a Beam (Gen 2) set up with my TV. It's in a lounge approx 10m long with a flat roof and a glass roof lantern. Unfortunately when it rains it creates a lot of noise and I have to have the soundbar really loud. Can I add the Symonfisk bookshelf wireless smart speakers (From Ikea) to the system. I am looking for something to place behind the sofa that just amplifies what is coming out of the Beam. I'm not looking for the surround sound where it only plays certain times. I hope this makes sense as I'm not technically minded I'm sorry.Thankyou
My Roam has stopped working. It has disappeared from the S2 app. When plugged into mains charger, the amber light on the bottom is on.When sitting on charger base, no lights show at all.The white LED has stopped lighting.I have tried reset (hold down play/pause, press and release power button on rear). This does nothing.Any suggestions?
We have a large property with a main house, entertainment building and a pool house. There is one Unifi network for the entire property UDMpro, 3 USW24 switches and 10 Access points, the outbuilding are connected by fiber to a switch in each building. In the main house there are 12 amps, 2 arcs, 1 beam and 1 sub. One of the amps is plugged into Ethernet and the rest are on Sonosnet. The Main house works fine. The outbuildings are to far away to connect via Sonosnet and when I try to wire one Amp in either building via Ethernet the network crashes and does not recover until I unplug the Ethernet. I have STP (not RSTP) enabled with the switches prioritized appropriately and IGMP enabled. In the Entertainment building there are 4amps and 2arcs, in the Pool House there are 2amps. What would be the best and stable way to connect the outbuilding Sonos players.? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Does anyone else have an issue with the Sonos beam power cable being loose and not fitting snugly into power socket ? If I move the beam the cable falls out !
Dear Community,I just moved into a new flat and I am looking to buy a new sound / HiFi system for my bedroom. As you can see below, I have a 1-and-a-half bedroom, divided by a semi-wall and a glass door which will remain open the vast majority of the time. I will be spending more time in the “big room” that the picture is taken from - but also a good chunk of time each day in the smaller room that you can see after walking through the door in the picture. What SONOS do you recommend? I was thinking to buy the SONOS Five and have it in the big bedroom - but do you think that the sound will be bad when the music is playing from the big bedroom and I'll be in the other, smaller room? What do you think of getting a SONOS Five and a SONOS Move or ONE to play simultaneously, one in each room? Or will that sound strange if I can partially hear both at the same time?I look forward to your advice. We are now standing in the “big” main bedroom, looking through to the smaller room which contains a
Hi to everyone. I just configurated the ARC+SUB+SL system in my living room and when I pair the SUB with the ARC, the system advise me that the SUB is currently linked to another device, and if I want to pair it to the current one.Does this mean that SONOS has sent me an already used SUB? Or is it a normal issue for these device?Your help would be great appreciated. Thanks
Ok SO I am an Avid Sonos User. I have a house with 3 Beams, 5 Subs, Six Fives, Four Ones, An Amp and a Port. I also have a High Output DJ system in my theater area. My question is my basement/theater area has a beam, Sub and 3 fives. The Fives are not setup as surrounds. When the theater is in use I have a beam and sub as my main TV sounds but from time to time I have a port that uses my DJ equipment as an input and outputs to a mixer with a mic that also runs to two 15” Active Ev Speakers and an 18” Ev Sub. Yes, I like it loud. So the issue I am having, and curious to see if there is a workaround for, is a delay. Sometimes I use the port to stream the TV audio to the PA setup for a very loud movie experience. But there is a delay. It seems to be more than the app is able to compensate for using the various delay correction options. I am trying to figure out where the source of the delay is coming from. The TV is connected to the Beam Via ARC. There is no DSP in the Mixer or the PA spe
I have a UE60KS7005UXXE Samsung TV from 2016 and have just bought a Sonos Arc and plugged it into the HDMI Arc. I can only get it to play 5.1 not Atmos. Is it possible to get it to play atmos from my streaming services?
Has anyone installed this yet?
My TV is connected to a HD machine and a Bluray player using HDMI. The Sonos system is configured to 5.1 surround using HDMI ARC. If I set my HD and Bluray to Bitstream output I get full 5.1 surround but the lipsync delay is noticeable (the audio is delayed). If I set the inputs from the two units to PCM the lipsync delay is resolved but I only get stereo sound. So frustrating! Is there anyway to resolve this?
Hi everyone, I would like to seek some help with regards to my sub. When I switch on my TV it mutes my arc and my sub. The arc unmutes itself but I notice that the sub stays muted. Even if I adjust my volume level, the sub stays muted. The only way for me to get it unmuted is to remove the sub from the arc and then add it back on. Has anyone encountered this issue before and have you been able to resolve this?
Before I start, I like Sonos a lot - I’ve been using it for more than 15 years and have (too) many speakers, but I’m frustrated with the Controller. Given that Sonos is premium brand and has a price point to match, who thinks the Controller is inadequate and unintuitive, to the point of being, quite frankly, pants, and needs an overhaul? A few examples:Clunky - no buttons - akin to ‘favorites’ or ‘presets’ (on-screen short cut buttons like today’s cell/mobile phones or Hi-fi systems) - to have to search each time you want to play something is time consuming, and ridiculous No customisation allowed, for example, your own colour scheme/skin, etc. No customisable sleep timer - one of the oldest complaints and one of the simplest things to have in an app! Not to forget and bit too ‘buggy’ - e.g. random volume/mute loss of functionality when speakers are part of a group Ads!?I’ll stop there but please share your thoughts, and the pain, on the Sonos Controller/Interface/GUISonos CEO Patri
Just wondering whether the wireless charger for Roam works with the first generation/original model of the product?
My TV has only optical Audio output, but I wanna connect my TV to Sonos five
never mind… figured it out
Hello!I have several Sonos Play:1, some in single mode, some in stereo mode, and some in 5.1 mode with Playbar and Sub. All the devices are connected through Wi-Fi.Some rooms are missing and some stereo configuration are broken in the Android app 14.18; macOS and iPadOS controllers are working, so I think the issue is related to the Android app only. I have already cleaned the cache, deleted all app data and reinstalled the app from the store.Any hint, please? Thanks,Alessandro
