Talk Sonos Products

HiHas anyone use two Sonos Move speaker as a stereo system?  Or seen a review of such system they can share with me?  I have a Move and am thinking about buying another one to use with it as stereo, before they are discontinued.many thanks

Beyond thrilled to receive the new Sonos Arc. True played my room and I have loudness on as well connected to LG B8 using Tidal and Spotify. Most of the sound range is phenomenal, aside from the bass. At even half volume the woofers are extremely muddy and sound terrible. Not sure if this is because I have under two hours of use but I wasn’t expecting to have to break-in the speaker. I own set of speakers next to it in the same room (KEF LS50W) and the difference is night and day. There have also been posts on Reddit regarding this issue. It is interesting given no reviewers have mentioned this issue but more than a few recipients have. Has anyone else experienced similar issues? Turning loudness off helps but it is disappointing for such a highly anticipated product. 

Where can I download the invoice for my Sonos Move 2 purchase?

I’m considering ditching my 5.1 surround sound system for Sonos (I love the system now, but HDMIs buried in the wall need replacing, necessitating serious construction to make things work). My TV is mounted above a fireplace, and is tilting down to compensate for the less-than-ideal mounting situation. If I put the Sonos Arc on the mantel below the TV, I there wouldn’t be a direct line of site to the ceiling (I’m guessing altering acoustics).  If I mount the Arc to the TV mount (so as to hide cables), the speaker would be angled down.Does anybody have this same situation?  Would acoustics be drastically affected? Also: when it comes to the surrounds: there isn’t any space behind the couch.  Currently my surrounds are mounted to the left and the right of the main-viewer’s seat on the couch (most of the promo images show the surrounds located behind the listeners…)

Hello,  I’m a bit overwhelmed and not sure where to start with selecting the right components for my space.  The space is 45 ft x 45 ft, ceiling height is 16 ft.  This is a multi-use space, will be used as a garage hangout area, used for entertainment, etc… I will have a large screen TV mounted centered on one of the walls. I am not sure if the best plan would be an Immersive Set with an Arc + Gen 3 sub + 2 Era 300s or possibly setting up a 5 speaker - one at each corner, or some other configuration.  Not sure where to start. Any help would be greatly appreciated.  Thank you!  -Mike

Is it possible to use the subwoofer output from a connect:amp as the “Sub” in a HT setup with the Beam?  I have my connect:amp connected to an active 3rd party sub but when I “add Sub” to the beam it isn't discovered. Thanks

Hi! I am having issues connecting my Sonos Amp (Black) to my Klipsch SW-311 10-Inch Subwoofer (or vice-versa). I currently have two Klipsch speakers and the Klipsch Subwoofer connected to the Sonos Amp. Both speakers play but I am getting no sound from the subwoofer. The subwoofer is connected to the sub port on the Sonos Amp and the LFE port on the sub. The sub plays when connected to my Yamaha system but doesn't play when connected to the Sonos Amp. Is my sub's connection wrong? Will a sub with a built-in amp not work with the Sonos Amp? What am I doing wrong? Help please... Jale01

So i have several Sonos setups. I have a surround one SL pair, one play5 and a Beam plus One SL surround combined for tv. My iPad will let me airplay to all three setups but when i select any of the three setups on my iPhone (airplay sees them just fine) i get an Airplay passcode request.please don’t tell me to reboot or re setup the sonos devices because this was done multiple times and is annoying to do. it works perfectly fine on iPad but on iPhone it asks for passwords. I have no password requirement setup in AppleTV or on Airplay.Everything is setup on the same (and only) WiFi network available. And as said it all works fine on iPad why is airplay asking for passcode on iPad?

Hi All, My Sonos system previously had (2) amps and (1) one SL speaker and everything was working fine, (all items were hooked up wirelessly).  I did recently change my wireless provider but I reconnected all the devices with no issues.I added an additional one SL speaker to the system (total of 2 one SL speakers) and everything was working fine until one of my amps disappeared from the system shortly after adding the speaker. When I tried to factory reset the amp that disappeared, it keeps failing to connect to the network even through all the other Sonos devices are connected to the same network with no issues. I keep getting a message during set up that says “the connection to your Sonos Amp was lost.  Move your mobile device closer and make sure Sonos Amp is powered on.”  The amp and router are only about 5’ away from each other and the amp is obviously on during set up (my cell phone is also next to the amp during set up).  I tired to hard wire the amp with an ethernet cable but s

I have nine sonos 2nd gen devices and they never work properly as a net. Most of the time some stutter or do not play. I’m sick and tired of having to reset my router to try and fix this for a few minutes before they fail again.There’s no point in having great sound quality that doesn’t play..

How can I add the music stored on my iPhone to my Play5 sonos?  I have pandora and Apple Music but want to select from library stores in my phone.

Hi All I am currently wanting to upgrade my Play One’s to Era 100’s, I have them attached to non height adjustable Sanus stands. I can see the 100’s locking screw is on the bottom of the speaker which means I can’t use them. Does anything exist allowing me to adapt these stands for the 100’s other than having to buy new speaker stands? Thanks

Hi! The verizon fios remote cannot adjust the tv volume. It works OK on the app.

Here the issues from latest:it died in me and I had to reset it to factor settings to get it to do anything but show an orange light.  it won’t play music  if the battery runs out and even after you plug it in.  Most of the time I get music playing and it starts flapping and feels like it doesn’t know where to use wifi or Bluetooth; have to restart the unit the app and some random stuff for 5-10 minute to get it to work. Why do the buttons and lights suck and the lights provide no real feedback from the device in what stupid state it’s in. The whole UX is terrible on the device.  I would never wast my time to create an account to vent but this device deserves it.  So how has your experience bee and what did you do to fix your Sonos Roam?Gave it to someone you hate? Throw it away/recycle it? Never had any problems Your spouse rolls their eyes 👀 every time it doesn’t work Other

i have seen this question posted before and i figured out how it seems to be coded. poor programming but here goes. i have the siriusxm web player open on my computer. then go to discover all channels. here you can add remove favorites by clicking on the star. .https://player.siriusxm.com/all-channelsNow here is the dumb part. the siriusxm favorites in the sonos app (was using the sonos app on my computer to make it easier.) only allows 18 entries. so if have added more favorites it will only display the first 18 selected on the sirius player… i found this out when i was removing favorites on the sirius all channels site that i didnt use, but were on of the 18 sirius favorites in the sonos app i saw that when i removed one from the sirius site it would be removed from the sonos sirius favorite section and then I would get another favorite here in the order that i seemed to have added them in the web sirius all channel sections.so i would conclude that if you wanted to have 18 of your m

I just bought a Sonos Arc to replace the Playbar. My current set up is Arc, Sub, Sonos 1 & One SL as surround speakers. After switching over to the ARC I can't really tell a huge difference from the Playbar. It sounds good, but so did my Playbar. I've tried some Atmos movies through my 4k firestick. When playing  atmos movie my Sonos 2 app is telling me it's playing Atmos (movies through HBO Max). I changed a setting on my tv which allowed the Atmos designation to show up on my Sonos 2 app. The fire stick also is set for best sound available.  I’ve moved the ARC so it's about 4” below the tv and in front. It's about 5 feet from the ceiling (flat). ARC is about head level when sitting on couch which is about 8’ away or so. I tried true tuning. I've even played with the Highs setting for the Arc and never noticed anything by doing that.  Do I need to unpair my rear speakers and just do speaker and sub?  I’m not sure if im missing something here. Im disappointed that the sound quality

I just found out that sonos now supports Apple Music.I have spotify but everything else in my house is apple.I was thinking of making the switch to apple music now that it is supported but I have an older system currently and wondering if I will need to upgrade.I have one generation 1 with alexa, Play 1, Playbar and 2 Play 3 Thanks  

I got my Move 2 today and was sad to see they changed the charging base a bit.  I had bought an extra Move 1 charger to keep in another room to lug it around between rooms without moving the charging base as well.  I’m curious if the Move 2 will charge properly using the Move 1 base?  I’d just try it but afraid it may hurt something in my new Move 2.  I’d really hate to now fork out extra money on yet another extra charger and try to offload this one lol.
