I am having three problems with the Arc SL shadow; 1) a loose HDMI port on back of the soundbar that will lose connection if i touch or move soundbar even slightly  2) random sound drop while streaming content  and 3) poor reception to control volume from Firestick remote.   Anyone else with similar experiences?

Hi everyone,I'm looking for an upgrade on my sound system. I own a sonos beam 2 for less than a year and im thinking about buying a speaker to have a better home cinema experience. It's almost the same price to buy one Era 300 or 2 Era 100 (500euros). Does anyone have any advice to help me in making a choice between these 2 options? To be more precise, my beam 2 is 4m in front of me in my 20 square meter room, and the couch is located against a wall where i would put the speaker(s) on (on each side if i get 2 speakers and probably centered if i get one) Thanks for any advice that can help. Hello @SONOS star team.  I will compile, and edit to add over time, the things I noticed and would recommend for our collective reflection here. Please comment to contribute your ideas too, and I can add them to this OP so that it’s easier for the SONOS developers to have it all in one place.Special thanks and appreciation for Keith, whom I “met” on Reddit and guided I use iOS, latest of everything at all times: iPhone and SONOS App version. Allow manual/ user ranking/ rearranging in My Sonos > Edit (top right corner). Ditto in Browse for existing music services.   Add a “tip” bubble to let people know about 3D Touch available throughout the App. I see use it in My Sonos to select Play in Another Room… the most.  Add Alarms to the SONOS icon itself on the Home Screen when using ForceTouch/ 3D Touch (Currently: Search, My Sonos, Play - Resume Last Played).   Detect WiFi issues and walk the user through fixing them to lighten the load on your Support Team, PR hit with people spewing c

Yesterday when I turned on the TV, there was a loud pop from either the Arc or the Sub.  This morning, after the TV was on for about 30 min, the left surround popped in the same way.  I grabbed a diagnostic as quick as I could after the pop, but not sure why this started all of the sudden.  Update went through two days ago to 14.0.4Diagnostic is 1674648960

Hi All,I am writing to discuss an issue I have encountered while attempting to enjoy Dolby Atmos movies and gaming with my recently purchased Era 300 speakers. Whenever I select the Dolby Atmos home theatre option on my Xbox Series X, I experience a significant popping noise, and the sound cuts off approximately every hour or two.To provide some context, I have ensured that the Passthrough setting is enabled and Earc is activated. Additionally, I own an LG C2 television. Considering that it has been three years since the release of the Xbox Series X, I would like to inquire if any progress has been made in resolving this issue.In the event that I am unable to utilize Dolby Atmos, I am curious which mode would be recommended as an alternative. Should I opt for 7.1 uncompressed or Dolby 5.1?I would greatly appreciate any advice, suggestions, or potential fixes regarding this matter. Hi All,Is there a fix or workaround to enjoy Dolby Atmos gaming on my Xbox Series X? As others have reported there is a loud Popping noise that occurs when playing Dolby Atmos on my Xbox.Is the only solution to turn off EARC or Atmos on the Xbox?Any fixes or news on this?I just purchased Era 300’s and would like to enjoy them when gaming on the Xbox.

Hi, does anyone know how to disable that terrible volume ‘beep’ when you amplify the volume?

I’m thinking of upgrading my Beam gen 1 to gen 2 and would like to know if my existing TV an LG 49UK 6400 PLF will support Dolby Atmos pass through.  TIA 

We have a large open space that is broken up by a few walls - The TV room is roughly 400 square feet, kitchen 300sq ft, Living Room 600 aq ft We have a Sonos Move we take all around the house. In the living room there are 4 in ceiling and a center speaker connected to the TV via Amplifier through HDMI ARC. Question -Should I go Beam under the TV and two ERA 100 with one in the kitchen and one in the living room to fill the downstairs with Music?  Go with the Port on the Amplifier, add a Sub and two Era for the Living room and Kitchen Or is there a different set up you’d suggest? Again - filling the space with music is the main objective 

New to Sonos products here and getting very frustrated. I connected the new arc to the correct hdmi port, downloaded the app on my phone. The app recognises the arc but can't connect to it using the audio pass code or the 8 digits pin number on the back. I restarted the arc, restarted the router and tried 4 different phones (android and Apple) to no avail. Customer service  could not help and had tee cheek to ask for a feedback after the call. Iam about to smash this damn thing. I know I should have gone for Samsung. £800 for a soundbar which does not work out of box. 

Just wanted to report in.   For years my Arc system (two surrounds and a sub) has been used with an older LG OLED without the newer eARC and I was getting Dolby Atmos “lite.”   Yesterday I updated to the new LG C3 which has the new HTML 2.1 eARC and am now getting the full Atmos.  My word, the sound quality is at another level. I simply can’t believe how good it is. I didn’t know what I was missing.

Looked through the forums but haven’t really found a similar dilemma, if there is a similar thread i’d be glad to be linked to it.So I’m looking to purchase a speaker or 2 for my entrance /kitchen area. The problem I have is that I need something that serves both the living room and kitchen area. Right now I have a Era 300 placed in the most top left red circle, on the 1.5m shelf. It works fine if you’re sitting at the table but is sounding abit distance if you are standing in the kitchen area. I’m planning on moving the era 300 in to the living room anyway to pair with my other 300 in there and arc to make a surround system.I’ve been perhaps looking at buying 2x era 100 and placing one where the era300 is (top left circle) and the other one on the window board (top right circle in kitchen area) and maybe paring them stereo. However i’m unsure how the sound experience will be in the kitchen if they are paired as stereo since there is a wall that kind of blocks one speaker from the

Hello everyone,I'm in the process of upgrading my home theater setup, and I could use some advice from the experts here. My entertainment room is approximately 16 feet by 18 feet, with the sofa and TV positioned along the two 18 feet walls. I'm planning to take advantage of the Black Friday deals to purchase an arc + sub combo, but I'm uncertain about whether I should also invest in surrounds.Since the surround speakers would be placed on either side of the sofa within the same plane, I'm wondering if this setup would yield the optimal audio experience. I'd love to hear your opinions on this. Additionally, if I decide to go for surrounds, would the era100 be sufficient for enjoying Dolby Atmos, or is it essential to go for the era 300?Your insights and recommendations would be greatly appreciated. I have a home Sonos system with multiple Sonos devices on my home WiFi network. I want to be able to use my Roam at home but also take it to my office where my phone and laptop connect to my work WiFi network. What is the best way to do this so I can use the Roam without having to connect via bluetooth?

I have 8 play5 (Gen1) and a S3. If I buy a Sonos smart speaker would it be compatible? Could I use Siri to control the complete system?

Hi, After moving in a new flat, I was looking at SONOS option for some weeks, and would like to finalise my order, but I thought to send a short message to be sure that my possible future set up will work well. I have a “big” open room with a Kitchen, a Leaving Room and a Music Studio with existing speakers(see plan attached) and I would like to have it all connected through wifi. But based  on my budget, I am considering to buy some older generation SONOS speakers such as Play 5 and/or Play 3 with newer model ONE SL and Move.  But if I keep the Play 5 Gen 1, I will have to stay on S1 app. For me, the most important is to be able to hear all “traditional” output everywhere (Turntable, Mixing Table Output) as well as mobile and Computer output through Wifi.  Do you think that the setup attached would work, and do you have advice on the few questions there:- to connect the turntable, is a Play 5 Gen 1 stereo pair  better than and Play 3 Stereo pair + Connect?- do I need a connect AMP to

Hi all. I bought the Sonos sub with the notion of placing under my couch (foolishly without measuring) and it won’t fit. I can place it in a cupboard in my built in TV unit. Wife hates the look of it so this is my only shot. Would this be pointless or ineffective? Is it supposed to be on the ground? Would the sun being placed in a piece of wooden furniture sound terrible or vibrations that would diminish my sound system? Units not test installed so I can’t test and secondly as it is still in its packaging I may be better off returning the item.  thanks. 

I’ve recently purchase an open-box Sonos Port from Best Buy, in US. After bringing it to Brazil, I found out it had been previously registered to an account that obviously I don’t have access. Will a factory reset allow me to register it to my account?

I have a Denon DRA-697CI with two pairs of high quality wired speakers. Also have two Sonos One and a Sonos Roam. My current setup is to use one (echo Dot into the Denon for Alexa controls) or the other (via Sonos app). I’m wondering if the Port would enable me to use all speakers together, or if others have had issues with wired and wireless speakers playing at the same time and controlled remotely. 

If I place an order a Beam next Tuesday morning, when can I expect my item to be delivered to the UK ? Thanks

Is there a way to disable unwanted sound effects? The music getting louder or softer as I swipe my finger on the Era 100 is exactly the function I expect of a volume control, yet there’s a second artificial sound that not only inexplicably intrudes on the music experience but is redundant of what I can already hear. Please tell me there’s a way to make the beeps go away, they’re harshing my mellow, offending my fellow listeners, and I think make the system sound like a cheap toy. 🤞
