I have 8 play5 (Gen1) and a S3. If I buy a Sonos smart speaker would it be compatible? Could I use Siri to control the complete system?

The Play:5 (Gen 1) is only compatible with the Sonos S1 app. So whatever Sonos smart speaker you purchase must also be compatible with S1. Read more about S1 and S2 compatibility here:

+18Sonos does not do Siri. Only Alexa and Google Assistant on S1.
