I have a problem with playing Music from my Yousee app.it is saying missing access. Have anybody this problem?Rene
Looking to label my Amps as I will have a centralized stack. Can I put magnet stickers on them or will that impact something internal? Sorry for ignorance.
I have a small wine shop. We have indoor retail space (1100 sq ft), an outdoor deck in the front 18x30 ft, and a small bench outdoors on the side. I want to stream background music in the 3 zones and manage volume separately. I currently stream Pandora for Business. Will 2 pair of outdoor speakers and the Amp work? How would I connect iPad/iPhone to stream Pandora? Bluetooth, cable? Or would I need another device?
Hey Sonos, I have followed many threads on this topic. The default volume by source I understand is not feasible with so many variables. Let’s simply start with a default “start up” volume. No matter the source it’s reasonable to assume that most handle more volume at night than in the morning. Every morning I sit down with coffee, ask SVC to play something morningish and get blasted until I ask SVC to turn it down. Please give us the option when we fire our system up to turn the volume up not down if needed.
So Samsung has sent out an update (1402)Hopefully it will help those who have problems with their ARC or Playbar.. I had to download it from the Samsung website as my TV said there were no updates..I'm looking at the update and see if there are any changes or if it's just "improvements"..For my part, I've had some lip-sync problems (Playbar), so that must be tested as well :)
Hi,Over 6 months ago, I posted this thread about this same topic: Trueplay support on iPad Air 4 + other recent devices | Sonos CommunitySince that time, this feature has been listed as “coming soon” but with no further news: Article Detail (sonos.com)Is there an actual ETA? Thanks for any information you can provide. Rant Time:Does over 6 months after the device’s release date qualify as “soon”? What about when the next iPhone model inevitably releases a few months from now? Is that also going to take multiple months or years to be supported as well? It’s already ridiculous that this feature isn’t supported on Android devices to begin with (you can’t do a cross section of the most popular models among customers?), but now it feels like newer Apple devices are also being ignored as well.Better yet, why hasn’t Sonos hasn’t just started shipping a separate pre-calibrated mic that lets anyone do TruePlay tuning without the need for specific third party devices?
Is there a feature to speed up play? This is a useful and common feature on other podcasts and audiobook apps.
My B&W AM1 speakers have started to ‘crackle’, is it likely the Sonos Amp has overpowered them and blown the drivers? Thanks
"Is it possible to create a shortcut on iOS to activate night mode on a Beam bar at a certain time or through Alexa?"
Sonos Ray appears in Control Centre AirPlay list but NOT in HomeKit app. Tried adding using ‘other’ options and though a Speaker icon appears - assume it IS the Ray - message indicating HomeKit cannot connect, ensure iPad is on network?
When I click ‘Network’ under settings it wants me to log in. It won’t let me no matter how many times i succesfully reset my password.I just want the arc to connect to a new wifi extender instead of the old router!
Hi all,I currently have 2x sonos 5s, 2x sonos ones and a sub in my living room. I can only use them to play music at the moment because they are connected to a soundbar or amp. Is it possible to get a Beam gen2 and then connect all the speakers to the tv? So basically the Beam would need to act as a center speaker. I have a fairly large living area (10m x 5m with 4m+ ceilings) so only a beam (or even arc) with 2 rears wouldn’t do the trick.
Hi. I have just purchased an era 300 to add to an existing Sonos 1 in our lounge. How can I get these so that they are permanently grouped and always come on in sync, either on the alarm or when I ask Alexa. It worked fine when I had two Sonos 1s paired but recognise I can’t do a stereo pair with the different products but i do still want to group them so they play together.
Hii i want to create two sets of sonos in one living roomSet 1two sonos era 300 in the front And one sub gen 3 Set 2Sonos arc Sonos sub gen 3 Two era 300 as soround Can i create two different configuration for this two set and change them in thr application ? I want the first setup to be used as a stereo setAnd the second as a home theatre set Thank you
Sonos S1 Controller hangs at startup on my Mac. I have just bought a new Samsung TV and it connects and works ok with my Sonos Playbar, connected via an optical cable. The TV smart remote will not however control the volume on the Sonos Playbar. I think that the only way for this to work is via the HDMI/ARC connection. The Playbar however doesn’t have an HDMI connector. Can anyone suggest any way of solving this, (other than upgrading to a Sony ARC!)? Is there an Optical to HDMI adapter out there that might work to solve this?
As the title says - I am having issue getting ATMOS to passthrough Samsung QN75Q7DRAF to SONOS Arc from Sony - UBP-X800M2 The Samsung does NOT have eArc only Arc - I had an AppleTv 4K which I discovered will not pass ATMOS through to reg arc only eArc - anyone know if the Sony has the same issue? I have searched other threads and made the changes on the Sony Blu-Ray and still no luck Built in TV Apps like AppleTV/Disney etc DO send ATMOS mix to the Sonos Arc, and if I use Sonos App, I get ATMOS from both AppleMusic or Amazon Music. This all frustrating because I am trying to go more minimalist and got rid of a Denon AVR3500, Polk floor standers & center channel and an Outlaw LFM-x1 sub to go all Sonos - Really going to suck if the TV is the now the weak link in the chain! I don't see any updates that were made by Samsung to upgrade the ARC port to eARC (if even possible) Is there any kind of adaptor that could fix this?
Some providers services such as Tidal provide 24 bit support but Sonos don’t implement it.It appears that currently Sonos only provides 24 bit support for Amazon Music services, when will other suppliers be supported?
I have an old Quad 33/303 set up that I love and works very nicely with my turntable and Sonos Port as sources. It has a line-level output that I connect to the Port’s Line In so that I can listen to the Turntable in other zones. However, I have to turn the volume up on the other zones WAY higher than from other sources. The 33/303 Line Level output is adjustable, and I’ve set it to it’s max (“H” in the table below). The Port’s input settings are set to 1 (low) and it’s still too quiet. Not distorted, but just too low. What are the actual line-in sensitivity levels of the Port? I can in theory change the component values in the 33/303 to output more than 100mV, but I’d like to know what the Port’s inputs are in order to choose correct values.
I have an XGIMI horizon pro 4K projector and newly bought a Sonos Ray. How can I connect my connector with the Sonos Ray sound bar wirelessly? I just did some research, and it sounds like Sonos Ray doesn’t support bluetooth. Is there any alternative way?
Are there any plans to add more than just two speakers to surround? This feels really limiting for some rooms.
Is it possible to migrate compatible Sonos units one by one from Sonos 1 to Sonos 2 systems? Most of the incompatible units I have are in hard to reach places and so would be much easier if could keave the Sonos 1 system as is and gradually move the compatible units one by one to new Sonos 2 system (which I have in one room). Thanks for any suggestions.
How would I play my Chirp audiobooks from iPhone to Sonos? (I only saw an answer regarding non-Apple products.)
I have a lot of Sonos speakers throughout my house, and it would be nice to be able to use a single volume control for all speakers at once. This is not currently practical, because each speaker has its own relative volume profile that depends both on the speaker type and on other factors, such as room size and placement. It would be great to be able to spend some time creating snapshots of various volume settings, so that all the speakers have the same relative volume throughout the house, and then for the Sonos app to create volume curves from those snapshots. I think this could be done pretty easily with just three snapshots, one for low volume, another for medium volume, another for high volume. Then, the app would calculate volume curves for each speaker, at which point you should be able to control the volume for all speakers at once with a single slider/knob/etc, with the relative volume of each speaker remaining consistent at all times.I really can't imagine a scenario where peo
I’m trying to get this working. I’ve gone thru several help sites (Sonos, Parallels,etc... but none of the suggestions have worked. They haven’t even come close to making it work. Any suggestions?
