I am having trouble connecting to my Play:3 so I attempted a factory reset. My steps:

1. Unplug device

2. Hold Play/Pause

3. Plug in device

It flashes white for about 10s, then starts flashing amber. At that point I stop pressing Play/Pause.  It the continues to flash amber pretty much forever... well I gave it 10m but I'm assuming it won't process to green. Please help if you have ideas! TY

 

I  would attempt to do a factor reset again.  There isn’t any alternative method of reset.  If it still doesn’t work give support a call.

 

FYI, factor reset is not a good way to resolve connectivity issues.  All it does is erase all the history that support could look at to troubleshoot the issue.


Called Support. Issue fixed. It needed an Ethernet connection to the Router. That succeeded then proceeded thru standard setup.

Also noted, need to disable VPN for app to work properly. Thanks!
