Router: Asus RT-ACRH132.4G set to 20MHz, channel 115G set to all, channel 165no airtime fairness, WPA2 personal AES, same password for both networks, different SSIDsI have rebooted my router multiple times during thisWhen I leave Ethernet disconnected and do a factory reset → S2 set up new system → it finds the Play:3, connects to its WiFi, does its connection chiming → gets to the point of connecting the Play:3 to the house WiFi, then says cannot connect. Selecting the other SSID yields the same result. I am certain the password is correct. When I connect it to Ethernet and do a factory reset → S2 set up new system → it finds the Play:3, does its connection chiming → still goes to the step of connecting the Play:3 to the house WiFi, but it seems the WiFi chipset is disabled while in Ethernet mode because there are no SSIDs displayed to pick from. “Other network” is the only available option. Selecting that and typing in the SSID yields the same error. The exact text is:We couldn’t conne
Play 3 speaker is 5yrs old at least, occasionally disconnected, but a quick on/off with the WiFi button on my phone and it reconnects. 2 weeks ago it just ignores any attempt at connecting. There is a Play 1 upstairs, further away from the router that connects reliably, nothing has changed with my router, play 3 location, network settings, but it will not connect. Currently sat with it next to my router, with its little green light flashing, blissfully ignoring anything I do to make it talk to my network. Even plugged the speaker directly into the router via ethernet cable, still nothing. Green light still flashing.Controller app says its there but not connected. Any advice please?
I can’t reconnect my previously working Play 5 gen 1 and Play 5 gen 2 to my new network!
Recently, my Sonos has been unresponsive. I have gone through all the steps of rebooting each speaker and do get them to mount in the app, but the next time I log on, they are gone. Sonos can’t find them. This has happened 3 or 4 times now. I’m super frustrated. I never had this issue before. Anyone have any ideas of how to get my system working properly again?? I have 2 Play 1, 1 Play 5, and a play bar. I’ve managed to have my TV use the play bar for sound, but the sonos app cannot see it. All the other speakers I can get working for a day and then they cannot connect again.
I have been given an old Play 1 that has a blown bass speaker (didn't know that when i added it) so I want to remove it from my setup. I added it to a new room so I want that gone also. How? No idea as I can't see how too!?I have 1 arc, 2x300's, 1 sub, 9 sl's and 2 beams (gen 1 and 2)Any help appreciated!!
Aidez moi svp Merci Moderator Edit - Translation by Google:I already use my Sonos application to play music in my office with a Ray speaker connected to an Ikea Sonos lamp and it works wonderfully. For my home I bought an Ikea Sonos lamp. Wifi connection OK. The speaker is recognized, but the lamp cannot access the updates and error 801 is displayed. Despite everything being refreshed, internet box, lamp, etc. Nothing to do, no connection possible, still this 801 error. Please help me THANKS
Dear community I am unable to identify center speaker working in Sonos era 300could you suggest that any ways to check waiting for reply
My Sono Era 300 just will not connect to Rogers Xfinity WiFi network. Any insight to why? Modem with built-in Auto switch between WiFi 4, 5, 6 and 6e and WPA 2 & 3.
My era 100 will not accept my wifi password. I am with Sky and as far as I know I do not have the option to split my signal.
Is Sonos working on an update to fix these random drops? I’ve had Sonos for over 12 years and upgraded all speakers when we moved about 3 years ago. I’ve always been such a Sonos advocate but I wouldn’t recommend this to anyone. What is being done to correct these issues? This is not a WiFi issue and it is not a latency issue, it is a Sonos latest app update issue that is wrecking the value of the whole system. I’ve been on with Sonos support for over 1.5 hours and they basically gave up. Please help!
I got this issue while trying to add a new device via your application. An alert display that "There was a problem checking for updates." and I tried again but it didn't work. It showed another alert that said "We couldn't update your products. Check your network connection and try again later."
Ok so like lots of people the new app has caused havoc. I have 1 Play 5 gen 1 and 2 Play 1 speakers.Im trying to run them all on S1 as the Play 5 can't be used on new app.I have done the followingdeleted apps factory reset all speakersre installed both appsset up Play 5 on S1 app - this works fine Both Play 1 speakers are visible however I get the message that says that the firmware needs downgrading to s1 . I have gone through the process every which way. Whether having the speaker wired direct in to router or running it on wifi it just comes up with a message saying there is a problem and gets stuck in a loop of trying again, connecting app to speaker network then trying to downgrade. Nothing seems to workAny thoughts people ?
Does the Sonos Line-in adapter transform the analog signal to a digital signal before delivering the signal to the speaker? Thanks for your help. :)
De speaker wordt niet gevonden, wie weet raadt? Moderator edit:Google Translate-The speaker is not found, who can guess?
I can’t control any of my speakers weather sound or channel so bad looking at removing my 12 Sonos speakers help please
I have spent hours, tried EVERYTHING suggested to fix the 1101, 1000, and 30 error codes when adding a new Sonos One SL speaker to my system. I have tried the solutions repeatedly, and nothing worked …. UNTIL - i went to my router settings; i checked the list of devices on my wi-fi and found the problem - the Sonos Roam that i had added months before was stuck on the list as a ‘paused’ device on a 2.4ghz frequency. I set it up using 5ghz and it worked fine; the problem was when i tried to add a new speaker (One SL) it would not update no matter what i did i could not register it - until i unpaused this old install remnant roam device that i didnt even know was listed on my network (all were unplugged, this was still there). When i unpaused the phantom device on my network and tried to register the new device for the millionth time again, it worked! I had powered on just the roam and one sl, all other speakers were unplugged; i had rebooted the network; i had unpaused the non-existant d

Hi - I have two pairs of speakers…Sonos Play 1…and a pair of Sonos One. I am having a problem getting sound out of the Play 1 even though I have added it properly. I can only get music out of the pair of Sonos One speakers. Even if I tick the box to play from the Sonos Play, nothing comes out. The light on the Sonos Play is solid white. can anyone help?
I have a pair of 2012 S5s and one will drop offline for 30 seconds or so. Any ideas about this? Thanks
I have the Sonos S5. It is utterly useless as a speaker or streaming device. But, I still would like to use it and heard it can be daisy chained with a Sonos product that still has the ability to stream, etc.. What are the Sonos products that I can purchase which then could be use and enable my S5 to work? Thanks in advance.
I have Play:1 and when I try and play music the app tells me “internet connection was lost.” App is up to date and obviously my internet works fine as that is how I’m posting this question. Anyone else dealing with this?
I tried to reconnect my play 1 to the wifi network. Router fritz box7583 LD. Nothing changed at the network. Just suddenly Sonos app don't work. I deleted all the other connections like in my Google home. Restart router. I did everything. The play is recognized by the Sonos app but cannot find de play 1 in my network. Anybody a solution or similar problem? Checked also my router, seems okay, but can also not add Sonos to my router.
I am BEYOND frustrated. I believe there should be a class action suit against Sonos. Every single time I try to play anything on my system, every single speaker comes in and out and the music seems to randomly skip around. I have read all of the fixes on here and I did not spend thousands of dollars on a system that requires me to have a degree in Computer Science to work. Thousands of dollars and we can’t just play music. how are they able to continue selling these products that do not work as described. 2 of our speakers are mounted @11’ and I am constantly being told to unplug each speaker/arc, etc and reboot my router. That is the answer every time and it’s unacceptable.
Some of my speakers are always muted and I cannot unmute them using the app anymore. Instead, I have to physically touch each speaker which is ridiculous. Any suggestions for fixing it or is this a known issue with the app?
Is it possible to play YouTube videos (not YouTube Music), through Sonos Play 5 Gen 1?
